The land was a family property since 1976. The building was constructed during 2011-14.

Very kind and helpful owner. The location is even prettier then the pictures very serene and peaceful. Would 100% recommend and go again.
Just what we were looking for: quiet spot overlooking the water!
This clean, comfortable property is exactly as described in words and pictures. Dimitris was the perfect host. He stayed in touch prior to our trip and met us upon arrival with many suggestions for activities and restaurants. We rented a car at the airport which was a good idea to help us get around to local shops and meals. We enjoyed many meals and coffees beside the harbor. Late October marks the end of the tourist season so a few places were closed though the weather was still sunny and warm. Because we were two couples, we rented both the first and second floor apartments. This worked well. Everything in the apartments worked well. By using all 3 balconies, you could always find a spot in the sun. We took a successful day trip to Athens by car then metro. A great week for four friends!
Thanks a lot Margaret and Dave.

You are awesome guests!
Thank you a lot.
You are always welcome!
just about perfect . . .
This is a wonderful property in an excellent, quiet, safe and charming location. All of the amenities in the apartment worked as expected, it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing - it left nothing to be desired. The outdoor walks on the waterfront (very close by) were rich and relaxing, and the local restaurants, beach area, people - just fun and enjoyable to experience. Dimitris was a wonderful host and provided friendly, responsive assistance in every way we needed as newcomers to the country. If we return to the Athens area - we will rebook. We loved it.
One of the best seaside resorts in Attica. About 50 minutes(40 km) from Athens downtown using a car and/ or the metro and 15km from Athens international airport.
The house is sea view. The seaside is 150m away from house where you can find either a sandy beach or a rocky coast.
Along the seafront there is a concrete paved footpath for walking - jogging or biking. At the end of this footpath and 100m beyond further, one can find a small rocky coast proper for diving.
About 500 m away from the house there is an organized sandy beach with umbrellas and sunbeds.General entrance to the beach 5 euro, kids 3 euro. With a canoe or by swimming one can reach the small island Coronia that is opposite of the house, in a distance of about 800m from the coastline.
Close to the organized beach you can find some free mud baths.
There is a tavern called Panorama in the beach ,nearby property, open throughout the year with good food on reasonable prices.
Within 3-5 km distance, along the main seacoast road, there is a shopping area with taverns, food markets, super markets, beach bars, banks etc.
Health services, just in case of an emergency ,are provided in Markopoulo health center.
According to the Greek Center for Ecological Studies the sea in front of house is ranked among the top five clearest in Attica.
Approximately 15 km away is the Koropi suburban and metro train station where you can find the suburban railway and the metro that takes you downtown Athens in about 35 mins- the ticket for metro from Koropi suburban station is 1.40 euro -one way.
Don't miss to visit the new Acropolis museum ,below Parthenon cliff, established on 2009.(metro station Acropolis)
Also visit the National Arhaeological Museum of Athens.(metro station Omonia and 10 mins walking)
Visit also cape Sounio area and the ancient temple of Poseidon.
The ferry-boat from Rafina port can take you in about an hour in the South part of Evia island ,where you can visit Karistos(car fee 23 euro-passenger 7 euro)
From Rafina port , a bit north of Porto Rafti, you can also access the Andros island in about 2 hours.
From Lavrion port , south of Porto Rafti, you can access Kea island in about 75 mins.Swim there at the fabulous Spathi beach -southeast coast. It's like swimming in an enormous pool if its not windy...
Visit by car ,if you have time, Nafplion city in Peloponnese, the first capital of Greece. It takes about 2hrs driving-using Attiki odos- to cover the 150 kms.Its one of the most beautiful seaside cities in Greece.
Last but not least...Taste ONLY... EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil in Greece. All the other olive oils are made from the olive cores. The tap water is drinkable in most places of Greece apart from some islands.
