Schöne Aussicht aufs Meer!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Von der geräumigen Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht, sehr sauber, bequeme Betten, gut ausgestattete Küche, Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern. Zum Meer sind es 5min., zum Strand 10min. Dimitris ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Ein Auto ist erforderlich.

Great apartment located in a wonderful landscape area

The apartment is new, tidy and clean. It has a wonderful view over the Porto Rafti bay and its equipped with all the necessary for the stay. Dimitris and his wife Iota are the perfect hosts. They are kind, helpful and make you feel at home. On top they have a lot of tips that make the stay even better.

A second apartment for friends to join us that provided independence for two couples.

This clean, comfortable property is exactly as described in words and pictures. Dimitris was the perfect host. He stayed in touch prior to our trip and met us upon arrival with many suggestions for activities and restaurants. We rented a car at the airport which was a good idea to help us get around to local shops and meals. We enjoyed many meals and coffees beside the harbor. Late October marks the end of the tourist season so a few places were closed though the weather was still sunny and warm. Because we were two couples, we rented both the first and second floor apartments. This worked well. Everything in the apartments worked well. By using all 3 balconies, you could always find a spot in the sun. We took a successful day trip to Athens by car then metro. A great week for four friends!

We were not intendet to be here. But we were very happy we did!

Our story turns around two Dimitri: The first one was the owner of the first appartment we have rented , near Rafina, very close ro the terrible fire that caused unfortunately a lot of casualties. The first Dimitri, was kind enough to advise us not to come, get a refund of our downpayment, and look for another place. So I continued my search in the area, more to the south, and got to Dimitri the second. I was impressed by the photos of the appartment I saw, and have to say, the reality was even more surprising! ( From the positive side) The view from the window is like a boost to the whole vacation, and that without making a single step out of the house. The appartment is new and well maintained , and really five minutes away (by foot) from a Nice beach. I very much liked the “concept” that only 25 minutes away from athens airport, you get to a really nice resort area ( mostly locals, not touristicly crowded), an area wich allows you to take a day in athens ( you go there by car or train, takes one hour) and another day making daytrips through the attica area, which has a lot to offer. Combined with the hospitality and recommendations of Dimitri and his wife , the whole package was just perfect! Would recommend it to anyone who is open to enjoy greece beyond a vacation at the islands...

A good place to be

After two stays in 2015 (spring and autumn) we spent in august 2017 our third holiday at Dimitris in Porto Rafti. For my two kids and me there was enough space in the apartment. The furniture is new and in good style, the kitchen very well equipped, the owners are very kind and helpful. The view on the sea and the coastal landscape, which you can enjoy from the balcony, is marvelous and a little beach with a little, quaint restaurant is in a walking-distance of 3 minutes; a bigger one, the public beach-resort, is just a few hundred meters away. The same time you need to reach the next supermarket by car. Porto Rafti offers a clean sea for swimmers and is an ideal spot for those people, who want to visit Athens, but not stay the whole time in the city. By car it is easy to get to subway stations Koropi or - perhaps better, because it is closer to the center - Halandri and then comfortably drive to Akropolis or other destinations in the heart of Athens. Other spots worth to visit are also good to reach by car.

Lovely well-sited apartment with gorgeous views and only a few steps away from the sea.

We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment which was very well equipped and furnished, and we loved the local beaches which varied from safe and sandy to interestingly rocky with pools and very good swimming. Porto Rafti is a very Greek seaside town with a variety of restaurants, beaches and views. The nearest urban rail station is only a few miles away and therefore excellent for access to Athens. Dimitris and Yota are very warm and welcoming hosts who kept in contact and offered very useful local information. A delightful place to stay and relax, and also a good base for exp[loring the Attica peninsula and Athens.

Das großzügige Appartement ist sehr luxuriös und stilvoll eingerichtet und verfügt unter anderem über eine sehr gut ausgestattete, moderne Küche. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen sehr schönen Blick aufs Meer, das man zu Fuß sehr schnell erreicht. Dimitris und Giota sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Für eine Erkundung Attikas ist die tolle Unterkunft ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt.

If you're looking for a great, clean, comfortable and conveniently located place in Porto Rafti, then look no further. The unit has all the amenities you need, it is updated and modern and well cared for. The views are great and it is only a very short walk away to the beach which has a tavern and is a beautiful spot to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear Greek sea! The host, Dimitris, and his wife are the most hospitable and kindest people we've met. Always happy to help and be as accommodating as possible. One of the best choices in Attica

Wonderful property at a wonderful location. A fully equipped, luxurious apartment, sea view, very quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to a very nice beach, ideal for families but also for couples. Dimitris is a true representative of Greek hospitality. We are living and Athens and have stayed in Dimitris' villa already twice - I believe it is one of the best choices for spending the summer close to Athens.

Wonderful holidays

I really enjoyed my holidays in this charming house. The accommodation was exquisite.. The place itself is spectacular. The house is very clean, calm, cosy and with a very beautiful and astonishing view. The terrace at the house has an amazing, indescribable sea view. It is located very close to the sea. We have stayed at this villa, located in the Avlaki – Panorama region of the small unique port village of Porto Rafti, Greece. We are from the USA, have lived in Greece, and had visited often staying at different locations. However, we have settled on this villa because of it's combination of modern facility, great sea view, affordable, and short 200 meters down to the sandy beach and seaside taverna. It is a short 20 minute (12 mile) drive from the airport, but you feel like you are staying on an island; it is so quiet and peaceful. There are two flats with separate entrances, each with two bedrooms, bath and complete kitchens. We so much prefer this location that we have visited four of the last five years, several times using both flats with family and friends. Activities include watching the sunset from the peaceful verandas, enjoying the beach, swimming, walking the 2500m waterfront promenade, and eating or relaxing at the nearby Panorama Taverna. We have enjoyed it all and thank you, Dimitris and Yiota, for your exceptional hospitality.

We had an amazing 10 nights stay in this great villa. First and foremost the cleaning was ideal the building is beautiful as it is recently constructed and the sea view is really really good . Everything was just as portrayed in the images and the hosts were at any time willing to help us with any question we had. The appartment is very well equipped with anything you may need ( washing machine, new kitchen , coking eqquipment ) ..
