JOLIE GRANDE VILLA avec piscine privée et Cottage 'Shepherd's'. Des vues incroyables.

Cette belle grande villa comprend un cottage indépendant indépendant 'Shepherd's' et sa propre piscine privée. Il est idéal pour les familles nombreuses, ou pour amener des amis ou des grands-parents. Toutes les chambres sont spacieuses avec de hauts plafonds et beaucoup de lumière. Il y a plusieurs terrasses bénéficiant d'une vue fantastique sur cette belle partie de la Crète. Nous avons une grande équipe locale pour garder la villa propre et entretenue. La piscine est sur un système de filtration continue, donc l'eau doit toujours être limpide. Il y a une vue dégagée de tous les côtés de la propriété: la Méditerranée, la baie de Souda, la péninsule d'Akroteri, les montagnes Blanches et les villages et stations balnéaires à proximité.

La villa dispose de 3 chambres doubles et 3 salles de bains, et avec 2 canapés-lits doubles gigognes dans le grand salon, peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes.

Le Shepherd's Cottage (qui est inclus dans les prix pour les groupes de plus de 6 personnes) dispose d'une chambre double et d'un canapé-lit gigogne double dans le salon, pouvant accueillir 4 personnes supplémentaires.

WiFi gratuit illimité. Air conditionné partout.
Piscine privée de 8x5 m, grande salle de jeux avec baby-foot, billard et ping-pong, de beaux jardins et 5 terrasses.

La taverne locale et le «mini-marché» sont à 5 minutes à pied et la belle plage de sable d'Almirida à seulement 6 minutes en voiture.

C'est une grande valeur pour les familles. mais pourrait également convenir à 3 ou 4 couples partageant.

Vous avez l'utilisation de la Villa et l'option du Cottage indépendant ensemble. Nous ne les laissons pas séparément, donc tout le site, y compris la piscine, est disponible pour vous et votre famille ou vos amis pour un usage privé.

Beautiful panoramic views from a large village and separate cottage. The pool area and terrace were fantastic. The host was extremely helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. We had a wonderful stay, and will definitely come back again.

First Time in Crete

Great property that had everything we needed. Very clean and well equipped . Great pool with loungers. The view of Souda Bay from the terrace and pool is spectacular. Games room with pool table, table football and table tennis was good fun and good quality equipment. Great to be able to walk to the grocery store, Taverna and cafe/bar. Short drive to restaurants and beaches at Almyrida and Kalyves.

Lovely villa with stunning views

The villa is lovely, wit fantastic views. A great pool and as an extra touch there is a games room with table tennis, table football and a pool table. There is a very pleasant taverna and small supermarket within walking distance. I could not recommend highly enough

Wonderful villa, great location

We had a wonderful holiday in this villa, all the family, 9 adults all together. There was plenty of space, and we had everything we needed. The pool and the games room were amazing, great fun for a group of adults! We found 2 lovely tavernas within walking distance, and Almyrida resort was only a short drive away. The property was very clean and well maintained, the maintenance team came twice while we were there and cleaned the pool as well as the villa. All in all an excellent holiday, would highly recommend it!

Fantastic view and bumpe roads

We spent 8 lovely days in the Villa. The road to get there is quite steep and bumpy. This would have been nice to know in advance. There are only 6 beds in the house (we thought there were 8) and the downstairs shower did not work. - The view from the terrace was simply amazing and the pool area was lovely. There are fantastic beaches for both sun tanning, snorkeling and diving. We had a great vacation.

Wonderful holiday during the pandemic

We last stayed at this villa 13 years ago, it hasn’t changed during that time and still has wonderful views. The villa itself is large to accommodate a bigger family like mine. The villa is basic and isn’t somewhere I would like to cook in a lot, the cookers were very old and were not great to work with. We ate out most nights and could walk to a local taverna and little shop which stocked a lot of items. The pool Is lovely but the area does not have any shade only a small bush gave us partial shade around the pool area for some of the day, it would have been nice to have something over the Pergola to add extra shade Especially with children. The BBQ was wonderful but there was no seating so we were separated when the men cooked the BBQ, it would have been nice to have some shade and seating near the BBQ area. We had a great time and the owner was absolutely fantastic and so patient with us when we were so unsure if we would get to Crete because of Covid.

Stunning views - wonderful stay in Crete

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Villa Almryda in Crete. The view over Souda Bay is stunning and you can watch the comings and goings in the bay from the shade of the balcony over looking the pool. We were 11 plus 1 baby. Stephen the owner was very helpful in arranging a cot and high chair for the baby and left helpful information on the local area. We spent time in Chania and drove to Lake Kournas which is worth the trip. Catering in the villa is easy and there is a great tavern only 7-8 minutes walk away. We were worried about taking a large group which we felt might feel overcrowded but the villa and cottage are definitely large enough to accommodate a 10-12 people while still feeling spacious. The sofa bed camp beds are a little uncomfortable/springy so we recommend using the sofa itself which is a comfy enough bed in itself. Lovely pool and games room are at the property. If you want to get away from it all this a great spot. Thank you again for your hospitality.

A family paradise

We stayed at Villa Almaryda for 2 wonderful weeks! Everybody in our family of 10 (3 generations from 3 yrs to 70 yrs) was very happy. Six of us (2 + 1+ 3) stayed in the villa, while four (my oldest son, his wife and two kids) stayed in the cottage. We truly enjoyed our time at the beautiful house. Things could not have been better: the location with the breathtaking view of the sea and distant mountains, the fantastic pool, terraces, sun beds, the spacious kitchen and dining room, comfortable furniture and the attractions of the garage (ping-pong etc - very appreciated by the kids). Pool maintenance and cleaning service was very efficient. All in all we loved every minute of our stay at Villa Almaryda - it truly was the perfect setting for a great family vacation.

Beautiful large Villa with stunning views

We were a family of five, two adults and three teenage boys. The villa was spotless and very well equipped and maintained. The Villa is in a quite area with stunning views of Almirida bay both day and night. It is within easy walking distance to the local shop and Taverna. We found plenty of interesting places to visit and activities to do for the whole family, with the pool and the games room keeping the boys entertained when we had lazy days at the Villa, The owner was great, always quick to reply to any queries, and helpful with any questions we had, I would recommend this Villa to anybody thinking of staying in Crete.

Another very positive review from visitors this year. Our guests seem to be really surprised at the location, views, space and facilities at this villa, for such reasonable prices. Our main objective for the villa is a place for ourselves and our family to enjoy, and we just try to offset some of our running costs by letting it out to others. The formula seems to work well.

A superb family holiday!

An absolutely perfect place for the whole family with a stunning view, games room for the teenagers, big veranda for eating outside and an ample-sized pool for all to enjoy. Facilities were excellent and we would recommend this lovely villa to anyone.

Excellent Location

Excellent location with wonderful views of Souda Bay. Within walking distance of local taverna and supermarket but very peaceful. Villa has good facilities and a lovely pool with games room for activities. Only downside was outside lighting needed some maintenance. Would highly recommend.

A Great Villa for a Great Holiday

As soon as we saw the villa we knew we were going to have a great holiday. Firstly it has a super location on the edge of Kokkino Chorio with the most amazing views across Souda Bay. One or two of the local tavernas boast about the great sunsets you can experience from their terraces - true, but none is better than the view from the villa. Additionally, the villa itself sits in a large plot so has plenty of 'elbow room'. It has a great layout, a much larger than average pool, and a large barbecue as well as a good kitchen should you be eating in. It was very clean and kept that way via a mid week visit from the maintenance company, who also ensure the pool is in top notch condition. The taverna in the village is very Greek, which we loved: it was host to a Cretan music and dance evening the day we arrived, which just topped off the amazing start to our holiday. We found the best tavernas to be in Almyrida, which is a ten minute drive down the hill to the coast. Almost everywhere the food was of a high standard, with some great fish options for seafood lovers, as well as pasta and oven baked pizza. Menus were Greek/Cretan based with some international favourites added. Additionally we found it was almost impossible to leave our table after eating, without being presented with complimentary raki and cake or baklava! This is a beautiful part of Crete, with tremendous scenery and loads of hill villages to discover, as well as small resorts on the coast. We are looking forward to a return visit next year, and have already asked owner Stephen to book us in. The villa provides a superb base for a great holiday - we have recommended it to all our friends and indeed some of them will be accompanying us in 2016.

Fantastic Views

Great spacious Villa with great views of the bay. The children enjoyed the pool. The local Taverna a short walk away provides great value quality food. The sandy beaches of kalives and Almyrida have clear seas great for swimming only a short drive away.

Almyrida

We had a lovely stay at Almyrida. The views are stunning with the White Mountains as a backdrop on one side, Drapano teethlike ridge on the other and Souda Bay out in front. If you like spotting US destroyers coming in and out of port, you'll love this location ? my kids went wild when the aircraft carrier came in. Weather was fantastic. The mercury didn't drop below 90?F. The wind keeps the mosquitoes away. Plans to adventure on the island may go out of the window while enjoying the pool and views. There are plentiful excellent and well-priced eateries all they way down to the coast, or you can choose to BBQ your chicken and lamb overlooking the pool. It's ideal for a family holiday and easy to get to (driving in Crete is a doddle whatever anyone may say). Definitely recommend this

Excellent accommodation

We stayed at the villa for an amazing 4 weeks earlier this year.It was our second visit and I couldn't wait to return to see the view across the bay. it's breathtaking and gave me goosebumps. The villa has everything you'd ever need,even a beautiful cottage in the grounds!! The village taverna;a lovely 5 min stroll away is run by a very friendly family and serves tasty Greek cuisine with a smile and Internet access if you need to log in.

We first visited Crete in 2002 and immediately fell in love with the climate, the scenery, and the relaxed and unhurried atmosphere of Mediterranean life. We returned the next year to buy this plot of land and later we built the Villa and Cottage. We wanted the large and flexible accommodation, so that we could have or extended family or groups of friends stay with us - and it has worked just as we had planned.
