Bring everyone together at our dog-friendly country house near the Pembrokeshire Coast. Explore gardens, an orchard, and open grounds, then unwind by the log fire after a day at the beach
Perfect for families, friends, and celebrations — a home full of warmth, laughter, and memories waiting to be made.
The house retains many original features, elegant rooms with high ceilings,ornate cornicing and panelled walls all decorated in a chic contemporary style. Surrounded by beautiful lawned gardens for relaxing, it's the ideal base for walking holidays and to discover all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The historic Preseli Hills are almost on our doorstep and just a short distance away are both the Pembrokeshire National Park with its stunning coastal path and Narberth, a vibrant market town offering luxury boutiques ,galleries cafes and restaurants. Other local attractions include Picton Castle and Gardens, Scolton Manor, Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and Bluestone with its indoor blue lagoon water park. Locally there are great Mountain Biking trails at LLys y Fran Reservoir and Canaston Woods and many opportunities forFishing,Golf,Surfing,Sailing, Kayaking,Horse Riding and Coaststeering.

My 60th

We had a lovely time at this beautiful house. There were rooms enough for everyone, and rooms for dancing and cosying up by the fire along with a bar and outdoor spaces in the magnificent gardens. Shower gel and a hairdryer would have made our stay perfect but I would highly recommend Chrissie's beautiful home for a holiday. We were only 25 minutes away from the sea and the sand and big skies. Thank-you!

Misrepresentation of amenities

No hot tub as advertised originally when booking. Other peoples dogs (5 off) allowed to enter the garden. .requiring constant dog poo clearing up. No walled garden as originally advertised when booking. 8 acres includes a 5 acre meadow not all garden. Gardens are full of weeds and largely unkept apart from mowing. Refund now required.

Well this is a first! Everyone loves the diversity of our grounds and gardens. Flower beds. Pond, Woodland area, Orchard, Lawns and Wildflower Meadow. Not sure who wrote this review but your text to us said " The house itself is quite wonderful " and We're having a great time" Quite a few serious misunderstandings and inaccuracies....Have you mixed up details of other properties? We are not a NT property ! No hot tub or walled garden advertised ! Our Wi Fi is correct ! Our apologies about the dogs ...very annoying...one off and out of our control but now resolved ! Thank you for your visit.

Wonderful large house in the Welsh countryside

A group of friends and I had a great week at Penty - a very good size, with plenty of ground floor rooms to spread out and relax in plus a well maintained large garden to expand to when the weather permits. The owner, Chrissie, was very friendly and helpful in the run up to the stay.

Perfect group getaway for families

Spacious house in quiet, beautiful area with numerous beaches 30 minutes away. Perfect location for three families of four (kids aged 8-13), with large grounds. Wonderful coastal walks close by, complete with cafe stops for tea and welsh cakes. Chrissy, the owner was very helpful and friendly - providing great advice on places to visit.

Wonderful house and garden for a large family Christmas get-away

Huge bedrooms and a suite of different purpose day-rooms, including an amazing dining room to accommodate us all, a quiet snug in which some could escape to read or work, and the huge main living room. The Christmas decorations added a welcoming personal touch. We all, especially the dogs, loved the space of the gardens and the kitchen area. Altogether it made for a relaxing and informal week that was still very special and will stay in our memories for a long time. I'd never used an aga before, but experimentation paid off and the Christmas turkey was a big success. There were plenty of rings and warming ovens to cook and keep all the trimmings ready for service. The surrounding area is of course full of fresh air and beauty, whilst the cathedral and bishops palace at St Davids are not to be missed. It was too damp and muddy for comfortable local exploration so we stuck to the coasts for our walks, but there is so much to see and do! Thank you Chrissie for allowing us to stay in your glorious house!

We bought Penty Parc in 1999 and spent the next few years completely renovating it .We were looking for a project and Penty Parc was definitely it! Now complete, it is a lovely stylish and spacious house but with many architectural features retained and is the perfect place for family holidays or special celebratory parties. We love having guests to stay and, although Mike travels a lot through work, Chrissie(and Eze the dog) is on site to ensure your stay is everything you would want. We very much want you to feel at home and enjoy staying here as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the house and its peaceful situation.
The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with it`s stunning beaches fantastic for walking, surfing or just enjoying the great outdoors is a short drive away and
the area is a feast for foodies with and an abundance of restaurants, cafes and farmers markets offering wonderful local produce for sale.
The house is situated in the lovely Pembrokeshire countryside yet is very central so we find a 20-30min drive in any direction will allow you to explore many of the County`s great attractions.
Even in the height of summer Pembrokeshire has all the beauty of Devon and Cornwall but without the crowds!

Spacious yet cosy it is the perfect space for family getogethers,friend reunions and special occasions.
