Maison de vacances de 1400 m² avec piscine privée et télévision par satellite sur 1,25 acres à Eco Lagarto, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. L'arrière-cour est un joli morceau de jungle avec un ruisseau uniquement pendant la saison des pluies. 6 couchages, 3 chambres avec lits queen size. Chaque chambre comprend: climatiseurs avec télécommande, ventilateur de plafond, 2 tables de nuit, chaise longue et grand placard. La suite principale a un dressing avec salle de bain attenante, une télévision connectée de 42 "avec câble et un accès direct au patio couvert avec des carreaux de porcelaine. La porte d'entrée / buanderie a une porte vers le foyer pour le contrôle du bruit. Couloir extravagant vers les chambres, le bain principal et la cuisine ouverte et le salon. Il y a des portes-fenêtres donnant sur la jungle depuis le salon et de très grandes portes-fenêtres donnant sur le patio de la piscine et l'allée avant. Il y a un grand patio sur le toit avec une balustrade en métal et des carreaux de porcelaine au sommet du salon, un escalier vers le patio supérieur à la sortie de la porte arrière. Tous les appareils sont en acier inoxydable avec des comptoirs en granit partout. Le salon a un grand climatiseur et télécommande, ventilateur de plafond, TV avec câble, son surround et table de salle à manger en bois dur. Les armoires de cuisine et de salle de bain sont également en bois dur foncé.

Modern house in beautiful nature

Great property in nature. Monkeys almost everyday and many birds. Regular maintenance of pool and grounds provided by friendly local staff. Quiet and peaceful.

Amazing Stay In Costa Rica

Spent a week at Blair’s home in the Costa Rican “jungle” and the overall experience was amazing! House was exactly as described and due to its location allowed an intimate interaction with Costa Rican nature. Will definitely be back!

Relaxing getaway

The property was great and the perfect oasis for me to relax. Monkeys really did show up in the trees outside almost every other day and were so cool to watch. The host was proactive with communications and made sure to check-in with me throughout my stay. Plenty of beach options nearby and days I didn’t feel like going to the beach I sat by the private pool. Great place to stay.

Amazing house

this is an absolutely amazing house with pool and deck and nature with a stream down the back and the jungle trees and monkeys and the beach is super close too! There is a little beach bar that's not too busy it's like living rich ! If you want nightlife or shopping tourist stuff it's all close too! There are flyers in drawers of points of interest too. Satellite TV or smart tv it's a great place.Oh there. Is a bar and restaurant overlooking beach about 5 mins with hammocks.happy Vacation!!!🌅

Peaceful and Quiet.

Overall I would highly recommend Blair's house - it has a great location surrounded by the sounds of nature. Groups of howler monkeys regularly came by to visit while we were in the pool or on the rooftop deck. It is somewhat far from nearby restaurants - roughly a 20 min drive on challenging roads. However we really enjoyed the relative isolation and the nearby beaches which were free of tourists. Blair was very available to address any questions or problems.

Tranquility

Our stay was Tranquil and restful. After traveling for a couple of months this home was just what we needed. We had monkeys everyday visiting along with birds, iguanas, butterflies...... Even a cat would visit 😂. The pool was a saving grace, used it all day everyday, water temp was great. Blair has everything you need to enjoy the home.......pool toys, grill, outdoor furniture........but the monkeys we're the best you could see them right from the pool. Tiki hut is a must try in marbella beach. Enjoy!

Tranquil, Safe Jungle Home

We spent 28 glorious days at this property. A very peaceful and quiet place. We felt very safe and secure in the area and at the residence.The house was fantastic with a very well equipped kitchen, love the Ninja blender. Also has a great barbecue for outdoor cooking. Wifi connection was great. Monkeys came by every few days at different times and we would watch them from poolside or the roof top balcony where they would be only a few metres away. The sunsets were beautiful with spectacular night skies. Lots of wonderful beaches a short drive away. We found Villa Real (45 min) a great place for a fresh fruit and vegetable market along with a great meat market (try the smoked bacon) The host Blair was very attentive and easy to get ahold of if there was any concerns.

One of the best VRBO rentals I've stayed at!

If you looking for a clean, well-cared-for home to enjoy in Costa Rica, I highly recommend renting this property. This home is safely tucked away in a gated vacation community with 24-hour security. The pool and home are very well cared for and it shows the owners are very proud to share their home with you for an enjoyable vacation. The house and pool are unusually situated against the Costa Rican jungle. So you will see howler monkeys daily feeding from the trees over the pool and from an observation deck on the roof of the home. The owner is really easy to work with and is available via Facebook chat or Whatsapp. This is a big plus because there are so many questions you will have about the Playa Lagarto area once you settle in. Make sure to stock up on groceries on your way in. That will make your stay much more enjoyable - although there are some top-notch soda's nearby.

Spectacular home in a perfect setting!

We just returned from a week at Eco Lagarto and LOVED everything about this home! It's a very private and peaceful setting. The pool was such a refreshing treat, the rooftop deck provided a perfect perch to watch the howler monkeys which were amazing. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked so we made breakfast each day and also grilled dinner one evening. Blair is a fantastic owner who responds promptly, provides detailed instructions and answers every question thoroughly. We rented an SUV through Adobe as he recommended and received a great vehicle at a great rate. DEFINITELY rent the wifi hot spot for the minimal cost of $10/day. We used it everywhere we went! Music and directions in the car, on the rooftop, poolside - it was SO worth it! This amazing home is perfect for a couples getaway or a family vacation!

31 brilliant days in Eco Largato Costa Rica

We have just returned from our 31 day stay in Blair’s house in Eco Largato, the house is very modern with everything you need for your stay. An added bonus was the swimming pool which was a wonderful bonus. Our stay was from mid-December to mid-January with an average daily temperature of 33c (91.4f) and no rain. The house is situated in a private location within the development which also has a restaurant a short distance from the house. Howler Monkeys generally visited the garden on a daily basis along with many colourful birds and iguanas. Blair’s information for the property regarding getting there and how to get the best out of the house were very thorough. We travelled to different areas of Costa Rica including the Monteverde Cloud Forest, La Fortuna and the Caribbean Coast but it was always a pleasure to return to the house for a spot of peace and quiet. If you like the outdoors, wildlife and peaceful tranquility then this could be the property for you and your family. We will definitely return to Eco Largato to continue our discovery of Costa Rica.

Great house in the "jungle"!

This is a really nice 3BR, 2BA house. The kitchen is great and has just about anything you could want. Both bath's are up to date, with walk in showers and great water pressure. We loved the pool and the surrounding trees. The howler monkeys came to eat quite a few times, it was fun watching them swing around the trees. If you can, use Blair's suggestion on the portable wifi with your car rental. We were not aware of this and had a heck of a time with connectivity while there. Also, the road into the development is extremely rutted (I assume from the rainy season). Some of the ruts are close to a foot deep - you will want a vehicle with not only 4 wheel drive, but a high under carriage. If you want to get out and go to a lot of restaurants & sights every day, this might not be your place. If you like to cook and want to stay in and relax at least part of the time this place is perfect! We drove to the Tiki Hut one afternoon - not too far (20-25 minutes) and gorgeous sunsets right on the water. To get to Playa Negra (we went twice) you have to literally drive through a river - again the high carriage and 4WD are important! All in all we had a great experience at this gem in the jungle!

Great place with a jungle view deck and awesome pool

We really enjoyed our week at Blair’s place. The house was just what we needed to feel enough at home to be comfortable with all the bits and bods you need in a kitchen. With three good sized rooms there was plenty of space for three couples. The plot is right next to the jungle and we loved the daily visits from the troop of howler monkies that you can watch from the deck and get a great view. The pool was crystal clear and perfect on a hot day. The location, though not on the beach worked greet for us as it allowed us to hit some great beaches within 30 minutes drive whilst still being able to zoom down to playa Lagarto just a five minute drive away for sunset. The restaurant on the complex is a great bonus when you can’t be bothered to cook. Food is good typical Tico fare, prices are reasonable and the portions are big (the beer is nice and cold too!!) We’d definitely stay here again.

Fantastic

We just finished a one month stay in Eco Lagarto in Feb 2019. We stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom bungalow with our own private pool. The house has everything you need as well as wonderful wildlife sightings. We were able to float in the pool and watch the howler monkeys jumping around in the trees. They visited the house aprox once every week on their rounds. The house is situated a short drive from several different excursions. We were able to do a sunset cruise from Playa San Juanillo where we were able to see turtles mating, dolphins, whales and mantarays,another outing I would suggest is a visit to Palo Verde River cruise up the Tempisque River wher you can see crockadiles as well as numerous birds and white face monkeys. We are also a short drive from a wildlife rescue center in Nosaria, it is the only rescue center in Costa Rica that has had success with rescuing and rehabilitating howler monkeys, it was very informative. Do be advised that you will need to rent a four wheel drive vehicle as some of the roads along the coast are gravel or dirt and prone to erosion, they can be very bumpy and have ruts so good clearance is needed. Blair has suggested we rent our vehicle from Adobe, they gave us a good deal and we're very accommodating when we had a small issue. The house is aprox 45min from Santa Cruz, or Tamarindo where you can stock up on groceries. All in all it was a great time. Diane and Norm Buck

Absolutely beautiful property in your own private jungle oasis

Couldnt be happier with our recent month long stay at the Neigum residence in Eco Lagarto! The house, private pool, yard and jungle surrounding the house are all absolutely beautiful and well maintained! The house is in a very private jungle setting and the Howler monkeys stopped by for a visit every 2-3 days! It truly is your own little jungle oasis! We found this to be a perfect home base for daily beach excursions and also quite close to shopping for any ammentities and or groceries for the house! A rental car is a must though. The owner Blair is very attentive, full of advise and goes the extra mile to ensure his guests are having a great time! We will definitely be back to rent the Neigum residence in the near future!! Incredible Experience!

First let me say if you are looking for a resort and someone to wait on you and fix your meals this is not it. If you like being in a less crowded, a little remote part of a country this is ideal! On any given day we sat by the pool and experienced butterflies, big lizards, flowers, more kinds of birds than I could count and one day a troop of 17 Howler Monkeys in the tree right over our heads. Travel a mile down the road and there are some of the most beautiful stretch of beaches you could experience! Pick up shells and sea glass or fish in the surf. Local town has fisherman that will take you out and they were catching a ton of snapper or Pargo as they call them. A few miles either up or down the road were surfing beaches and turtles hatching. Easy to purchase groceries in Santa Cruz and bring them home to a well stocked kitchen to eat. There is one restaurant close by but many others if you traveled 10 to 15 Kilometers! We did travel one day up to Playa Flamingo and do tourist stuff like zip lines, catamaran sailing, four wheeler riding etc. House is well equipped with all that you need for a great visit!!!! Already planning the next visit!!!!

LOVE IT

Have stayed at this home a few times now. It is located in a lush tropical setting, with jungle surrounding you at all times. It has all the amenities needed,, pool, washer dryer, etc. Howler Monkeys pay a visit most days. Very close to all the beaches for surfing and fishing. For myself and family it works out perfectly, as we have property near by to attend to. Thanks Blair for another great stay!!!

Great Get Away

My wife and I stayed here for a week in March. We are very familiar with the area, and found this house to be the perfect place for our adventures. We fish and surf so everything we needed was close by. Less than 10 minutes to Marbella, 10 to 15 to Junquillal. The house is new and well appointed. Full kitchen with all the necessities. House was clean along with the pool, which we used everyday! If you like nature, you cant get much better. Each morning the Howler monkeys were there to greet us, and birds of all kind surround the property. For this property, you will need a vehicle to get out and explore the surrounding area, which is as beautiful as it gets. Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting this area. Thanks Blair!! Quiet jungle home

We stayed in this home for one week in Feb 2017. It is spacious with 3 bedrooms (each with A/C) 2 bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a nice living room with TV to relax and cool down in (also has A/C). There are patio doors off the kitchen/living room area you can use to get outside that lead right to the pool - a perfect place to relax or cool down at. The pool was well maintained with someone coming every second day or so to clean it and a skimmer is available to use if needed in between. There is PLENTY of patio furniture to use outside to enjoy nature as much as possible. There is a nice shaded area outside the master bredroom for beautiful morning breakfasts. Around the side of the house are stairs that lead to the roof where you can also relax and enjoy the jungle noises and view. This home is tucked away in a very quiet, somewhat isolated area close to the jungle for people who just want to "get away" from the craziness of life. However, there are MANY different beaches and towns accessible to you with a vehicle (a vehicle is a MUST for this location). There are beaches as close as 5 mins away and others about an hour. We went as far up the coast to Tamarindo, Playa del Coco, and Flamingo beach and as far down as Nosara. There is a small "authentic" town very near by where you can grab a drink st the bar and then head to beach as well as larger centers for groceries. The owner, Blair, and his neighbour Jon, are very helpful with directions, things to do and tips to make your holiday that much more enjoyable. If you are planning a beach hopping trip to the Guanacaste area and have a vehicle and sense of adventure, this home is for you.

Beautiful house

This is a beautiful house. The pictures are an exact description of what you get. The House is new, clean and well maintained. Kitchen is very well equipped. I cook from scratch and found all utensils I needed. Mattresses in the bedrooms are firm , yet soft enough to allow a very good night sleep after a day of hiking/swimming/touring. Bathrooms are super clean and functional. The pool is serviced every day except on weekends (we stay there almost 3 weeks and weekends were also Holydays). Our kids (9 and 5) enjoyed the pool very much. But the icing on the cake was Blair, the owner. He was amazing, obviously Blair loves CR and he want his guests to like this country as well, which we did. Blair will provide you with all info he has and he is very reliable. Blair also has someone watching over the property which makes it very safe. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. However you have to be aware of the roads conditions in CR especially when staying in middle of the jungle. Blair said the gravel road is to be paved this year. As for the dirt road, the ride was made smoother during our stay when they fixed it. We liked Santa Cruz a nearby city, but there is also a beautiful beach in Junquilal and in Tamarindo. All beaches are surfers paradise since the waves are spectacular. Staying in the middle of the jungle in a beautiful house like this has many advantages: you see beautiful birds and monkeys up close, you are far from all the noise...but you have smart TVs to keep you inform and entertained.
