Charmante maison bien équipée, agréable, très propre, avec magnifique vue sur le Cher et le donjon de Montrichard. Nombreux commerces à proximité immédiate.Très bonne communication en amont et très bon accueil sur place.

House with a great view

The house which is right on the bank of the river was fine for the two of us. The upstairs rooms are OK but the downstairs bedrooms (which we did not need) are pretty basic and dark, being part of the garage/storage section of the property. The balcony was great for sitting out and looking over the river to Montrichard town which is only a few minutes walk to get to. We were disturbed a couple of times at night time by large lorries delivering garden supplies to the nurseries opposite the property which was a great shame. All in all though, the house was good value and was a great base to explore the wonderful region.

Nice house but some remarks

The house is set in a nice location. Not in the centre of town but on a quiet street. No direct neighbors make it a good location. The house is divided in two floors. Downstairs is basically the garage, but also the first two bedrooms are here. That feels strange, having to come down to the garage to go to sleep. But the rooms are nice and clean, and very cool. Upstairs is the living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. And the balcony overlooking Montrichard, which is very nice, both in the morning and in the evening. Kitchen is well equipped, although not quite clean when we arrived. Some kitchenware had still some stains. Probably the former guests didn't wash them properly, but still. Reported it to the owner but sadly no reaction this time. All in all we had a pleasant stay in the house and enjoyed the view and the proximity of the town.

Une maison à une situation idéale

Une vue sur le Cher très agréable, une baignade et une piscine à proximité, la ville de Montrichard accessible à pieds. Rien que de l'agréable.

maison confortable avec vue exceptionelle en bord de Cher

La location de la maison est tranquille et néanmoins près d'une veille ville (avec des jolies restaurants et terrasses) et près des commerces (grand Carrefour). Les grands châteaux et les demeures interessants sont près. Il y a aussi une piscine et une plage tres près. On peut faire des promenades ou ballades. La maison est spatieuse et confortable ayant tout les équipements. C'est dommage (pour des étrangers) que le tv ne donne que des programmes en francais. Il y a des livres et des magazines intéressants. Le prix est modest.

Superbe vue

La maison est vraiment bien située. On est à 5 minutes à pied du centre de Montrichard et à 5 minutes en voiture d’un supermarché. Elle est bien équipée et le proprietaire est à l’ecoute. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié prendre notre petit déjeuner sur la terasse. Les chambres du haut sont les plus agréables les chambres du bas ayant des fenêtres plus petites ôter séjour s’est très bien passé. Nous recommandons donc cette maison.
