Villa Alexandra

Villa Alexandra is the perfect place to stay for relaxing and exploring the western part of Crete. The famous beaches of Falasarna, Balos and Elafonisi are within easy reach and the area is surrounded by beautiful scenery with the city of Chania less than a 30 min drive away.

Villa Alexandra has 3 double bedrooms (one with en-suite) with a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area and additional bathroom. The property has air-conditioning in every room, WiFi, satellite TV, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen. Externally, there is a large balcony to the rear of the property with ample space to dine outdoors or relax and enjoy the view. It is also the perfect location to take advantage of the clear Cretan night skies and enjoy some stargazing with the property's telescope. The front of the property has private parking for two cars and a garden with sunloungers and a traditional well.

Situated between the large villages of Kolymbari and Kissamos, Villa Alexandra is only a short drive away from all amenities including a supermarket, restaurants, beach bars and shops.

Great place !

We had a wonderful time in Crete and we were very happy with the place we chose! Great mountain view, welcoming host, tasty food. Car is a must to be able to explore all the beautiful beaches, caves, mountains,surrounding towns. For sure we will return!

House in Melissourgio

The house was perfect - different terraces and garden to be in or out of the sun as you wish.The owners' parents live below and couldn't have been kinder. Welcome cake, raki, biscuits and traditional spinach pies as well as produce from their garden with an open invitation to 'help ourselves'. Any slight problem which occurred was dealt with straight away and communication via Niki in the UK (we don't speak Greek sadly) worked well. There is a fairly busy road nearby which slightly spoilt the peace but it didn't affect our overall enjoyment of our trip and our visit to this holiday rental.

Sehr netter Empfang, sehr gastfreundliche Familie. Alexandra und Mixalis wohnen parterre im selben Haus. Offensichtlich Straßenlage an der National Road, günstig zum Wegkommen, aber Straßenlärm bei offenen Fenstern und auf dem Balkon. Schöner Südostblick auf die Lefka Ori. Sehr großzügige und schicke Wohnung wie auf den Bildern. Zu beachten ist, daß die Eigentümer zwischenzeitlich auf ihrer Terrasse einen Grillbereich eingerichtet haben, hierdurch ggf. Rauchbelästigung möglich. Während unseren Aufenthaltes sind leider Mängel in den Bädern ersichtlich gewesen, die die Vermieter umgehend nach unserem Aufenthalt beseitigen wollen: tropfende Hähne und Ventile am Waschbecken mit kleinerer Überschwemmung nach jeder Benutzung, unpraktisch. Sauberkeit in der Küche mangelhaft (Lebensmittelrückstände in Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, Krümel in den Schubladen, alter benutzter Kaffeefilter in der Kaffeemaschine). Bäder und Zimmer waren in Ordnung. Kommunikation läuft hauptsächlich und problemlos über den Sohn (per WhatsApp). Insgesamt angenehm und nett, aber anders als erwartet.

Nice poeple, beautiful house.

Beautiful spacious house which is very well maintained. Alexandra and Mihailis, the owners made us feel very welcome (cake, grapes, coffee...), with them you have the impression that you have come on vacation in the house of yours old friends. We highly recomnend this house.

Vacances magiques en crête

Quelle merveilleuse expérience! L'appartement est très agréable et la gentillesse des propriétaires est extraordinaire ! Cela compense largement le bruit occasionné par la route qui, une fois les fenêtres fermées, ne s'entend plus! La localisation est idéale pour visiter la partie ouest de l'île et ses fabuleuses plages! Un grand merci encore pour tout ! J'ai hâte de revenir !

Ottimo soggiorno

Siamo rientrati da pochi giorni dalla nostra vacanza a Creta. La casa è molto bella, pulita e dispone di aria condizionata e giardino. Niki è stata gentilissima e disponibile per qualsiasi nostra necessità. Ottima anche la posizione per poter visitare svariate spiagge e luoghi interessanti. Essenziale la macchina per potersi spostare. I padroni di casa sono stati molto gentili e ospitali. Ci hanno allietato il soggiorno con dolci, frutta e verdura del loro giardino. Ci hanno fatto sentire come dei vecchi amici. Grazie ancora

Licht, Licht, Licht...

Es ist ein wunderbares, sehr geräumiges und helles Haus mit allem Komfort, den man sich wünscht. Wir konnten jede Nacht zwischen 3 Schlafzimmern wählen ;-) und jeder hatte ein eigenes Bad! Erholen konnten wir uns auf zwei Terrassen, wobei eine direkt auf die gut ausgebaute und gut frequentierte Straße zeigte, was auch das einzige Manko ist - irgendwann hatten wir uns daran gewöhnt...evxaristo para poli - wir würden wiederkommen!!!

Très belle maison avec 3 belle chambres avec tv française dans chaque chambre! Grand salon cuisine. Très grande terasse mai léger bémol la route passante en contre bas. Les propriétaires ont été très gentils accueillant disponible ! Très belle expérience humaine! La localisation parfaite pour visiter les grands Sites importants de la côte ouest de la Crète en dehors de tout courant touristique

Beautiful house with all services very well positioned on the way from Chania to Kissamos.

We passed beautiful days in Niki's villa. Niki and her family are very cozy and they assist you for every need. If you want to visit the west part of Crete this place is very well located to join the best attractions like Balos, Elafounissi and Falasarna. Wonderful and strategic place

The house is really confortable and cozy, very well equipped of amenities and in a perfect position to reach the most famous beaches like Falassarna and Elafonissi. It has a spacious kitchen with a living room from where you can access to a big terrace with a very nice view of Crete countryside. There is also a garden around the house, soft grass and flowers make it even more attractive. Niki and Manolis are the best landlords we have ever met, really welcoming and efficient in problem solving, they suggested us beaches and places to visit. Niki prepared a special chocolate cake for us and she had put in the fridge bread, ham, cheese, eggs and some beer! On the table some peaches from the trees of the vegetable garden. What more do you want?
