Over its vivid and expansive history, Sudeley Castle has played host to many of England’s reigning queens, from Anne Boleyn to Queen Elizabeth. Named in commemoration of all its regal visitors of the past, Queens Cottage is an elegantly converted old engine house with dovecote that offers guests a stay in a historic setting. The 2-bedroom cottage sleeps up to six people across a double and twin bedroom, as well as a sofa bed in the living room, meaning it offers flexible sleeping arrangements.
The front outdoor dining area overlooks the estate courtyard and is a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee before heading out for the day, perhaps to Sudeley Castle. The ground floor is spacious and open plan with a comfortable sitting area, dining area and a kitchen to the rear. In the sitting area one of the sofas can be converted into a double bed. Historic images remind you of this cottages's past and in the living area a discerning picture of Queen Victoria overlooks your adventure planning. At the end of the day this is a lovely place to put your feet up and relax. Upstairs two comfortable bedrooms are a peaceful spot to retreat to for a restful night's sleep after a busy day exploring.
