4 ½ apartment is impeccably clean, comfortable and fully equipped (hair dryer, bedding, towels, dishes, etc.). It is located in a duplex from fin-de-siècle with a lot of modern upgrades. It is a mix of old and new with a lot of charrm and character. Tourists will find all the appliances and cookware one could need. 3 closed bedrooms (2 queen-sized bed, 1 double bed). One bathroom. TV with NETFLI in the living room and in the third room which is on the ground floor. Washer and dryer with iron. Private entrance. Tourists are often able to park right in front of the building. The apartment is on the 2nd story of a 2 story building, so there is a small staircase to climb. Regarding the third bedroom on the ground floor, people allergic to animals will not be able to stay because my two (2) dear cats live exclusively on the ground floor. No pets allowed. No hidden fees : cleaning and taxes included in the rental price. Deposit : $ 300 CAD. All the tourists who have stayed at Le Bercy so far have given me 5 stars.

About Marie-Anne JEAN
I have been working at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) since 1992. I am a responsible person who fulfills its commitments. I live on the ground floor of the duplex I own. I am available at all times when needed: just text me and you get an almost immediate response. I have furnished Le Bercy with heart so that you feel at home. Nothing has been left to chance, but the photographs do not give the character of the apartment and its beautiful brightness (windows in all rooms and skylights in the bathroom).
Marie-Anne JEAN purchased this Apartment in 1993
Why Marie-Anne JEAN chose Sainte-Marie
I bought the duplex in 1993 because it is located 30 minutes walk from my job. In addition, the duplex is located in a quiet residential area in front of which there is a condo complex. The apartment is 5 minutes walk from Frontenac metro, a food market, a bank, a pharmacy, several restaurants, BIXI bike stations, a training center, a free swimming pool without identity card, a tennis court at 9 $ CAN / h, etc. In addition, the duplex is 15 minutes from downtown metro and tourist attractions (Gay Village, Latin Quarter, Old Montreal, La Ronde, entertainment district, Botanical Garden, Biodome, Planetarium, Olympic Stadium, UQÀM, the Grande Library of Quebec, etc.).
What makes this Apartment unique

Phenomenal stay at a perfectly located beautiful home in Montreal!
We were so thrilled with our stay! Everything was beautiful at the apartment and it was perfectly located. I cannot say enough about how great the apartment was. Marie-Anne was the most wonderful host! So warm and friendly with an absolute dedication to making her guests feel welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be back. In fact we hated to leave.
Angela and Scott are very nice person and it has been a real pleasure to welcome them at Le Bercy. They were both discreet and respectful of the place. Let me also say that they are very conciliatory person. During their stay there was a problem with Netflix. Not only they informed me kindly but they fixed it. In short, Angela and Scott are people that all hosts dream of welcoming. Finally allow me to say that there will no longer be any problem with NETFLIX because I made a direct connection of the router to the computer in the lounge of Le Bercy in case the WI-FI crashes in my absence.
Gem of an apartment minutes to a metro station!
I spent a week in Oct at Le Bercy guest apartment while I was attending a conference in Montreal and visiting family and friends. Super location, 5 min walk to a metro station which gave me easy access to all of the places that I wanted to go to. Apartment was clean and comfortable, a joy to come "home" to every evening. The apartment was more than well equipped and Marie-Anne has thought of every detail that a guest could seemingly want or need. I was too busy to spend much time cooking in that kitchen but would love to go back and enjoy every kitchen gadget that she has placed in that kitchen. Grocery store also just around the corner and in Quebec you can pick up all of your favourite beverages including wine when you're picking up your food supplies so that was convenient as well. The second bedroom upstairs is set up with a desk and a murphy bed which I loved as it gave me an office space to work out of while there.
The only thing I can think of is for individuals to remember that in most of these apartments/homes there are no elevators and so steep stairs are a fact of life. If stairs are difficult for you; you won't be able to enjoy this fabulous little gem of an apartment and its amazing hostess Marie-Jean! I do look forward to exploring Montreal again sometime from Le Bercy!
This apartment is very clean, very close to the metro and has everything one could possibly need to make it feel like home Marie-Anne is very responsive to any needs that may come up. Will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Montreal
A True Gem in Montreal
How lucky we were to find this wonderful apartment in Montreal! I give it a A Plus! The 3 bedroom apartment was just 15 minutes from Old Montreal and the downtown area where the streets were filled with fabulous restaurants, cafes and shops. The Metro was also a 5 minute walk with a bank and grocery store conveniently located just across the street. When we arrived the apartment was extremely clean and spacious. As you can see from the pictures, the rooms are appointed nicely and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to feel like home and to cook. One night we made a lovely trout dinner from Jean Talon Market, that was amazing! There are two beautiful balconies where I sat to drink coffee in the morning as the weather was still spring like and only rained on and off for a day or two. I can't say enough how charming the whole property was! It is located in a middle class neighborhood which we found very quite and safe. We had an great time in Montreal being tourist and seeing the usual sites, but most of all walking the trendy streets averaging about 5 miles each day (which gave us a chance to walk off all the pastries we ate!). We plan to return soon as we found the owner Marie-Anne extremely delightful as well as helpful in providing good tips on getting around and places to visitt!!! I will be happily returning and will be booking this apartment again soon!
Mrs. Barbara and her friend Denise are very charming people to meet. They were both discreet and respectful of the place. During their stay four people lived in Le Bercy without me hearing them, and they left the place very clean. In short, they are people that all guests dream of welcoming.
But there is more to say. Usually tourists only communicate with me if there is a problem, and I respect their choice. But Barbara and Denise shared with me their beautiful moments in Montreal. It was a great pleasure. I wish with all my heart to welcome them again to Le Bercy
This flat was just as it was advertised plus more. It is small but the space is perfectly used and we had everything we could think of needing. There are two balconies. The neighborhood has many food choices within 5 minutes walking. We found a patisserie and a sausage maker and enjoyed their creations. We loved the design blend of reclaimed wood and tiles. Should we return to Montreal, we certainly would rent it again.
M. Fabry and his friends are very nice people to communicate with. These are people that all hosts want to welcome because they are respectful of the people and the place at all levels.
I would be very happy to welcome them back to Bercy.
Very nice apartment in Montreal
Marie Anne's apartment was very comfortable. You can tell she takes pride in hosting not only because of the stylish furnishings, but also because of her friendly welcome. We were left an organized notebook that answered pretty much any question we had during our stay.
The apartment itself, other than being stylish, is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay (and then some, to be honest.) It's also very close to the subway so getting around is a breeze, and there's a grocery store within walking distance which is super convenient.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Juan and his friends are young adults who are very responsible and respectful of the environment. I'm always surprised that when leaving even young adults do their dishes. At all times I will be happy to welcome Juan and his friends again to Le Bercy.
