4 ½ apartment is impeccably clean, comfortable and fully equipped (hair dryer, bedding, towels, dishes, etc.). It is located in a duplex from fin-de-siècle with a lot of modern upgrades. It is a mix of old and new with a lot of charrm and character. Tourists will find all the appliances and cookware one could need. 3 closed bedrooms (2 queen-sized bed, 1 double bed). One bathroom. TV with NETFLI in the living room and in the third room which is on the ground floor. Washer and dryer with iron. Private entrance. Smokers have access to 2 balconies to enjoy (access from the kitchen, the other from the master bedroom). The free parking in the street is easy and not crowded. Tourists are often able to park right in front of the building. The apartment is on the 2nd story of a 2 story building, so there is a small staircase to climb. Regarding the third bedroom on the ground floor, people allergic to animals will not be able to stay because my two (2) dear cats live exclusively on the ground floor. No pets allowed. No hidden fees : cleaning and taxes included in the rental price. Deposit : $ 300 CAD. All the tourists who have stayed at Le Bercy so far have given me 5 stars.

About Marie-Anne JEAN
I have been working at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) since 1992. I am a responsible person who fulfills its commitments. I live on the ground floor of the duplex I own. I am available at all times when needed: just text me and you get an almost immediate response. I have furnished Le Bercy with heart so that you feel at home. Nothing has been left to chance, but the photographs do not give the character of the apartment and its beautiful brightness (windows in all rooms and skylights in the bathroom).
Marie-Anne JEAN purchased this Apartment in 1993
Why Marie-Anne JEAN chose Sainte-Marie
I bought the duplex in 1993 because it is located 30 minutes walk from my job. In addition, the duplex is located in a quiet residential area in front of which there is a condo complex. The apartment is 5 minutes walk from Frontenac metro, a food market, a bank, a pharmacy, several restaurants, BIXI bike stations, a training center, a free swimming pool without identity card, a tennis court at 9 $ CAN / h, etc. In addition, the duplex is 15 minutes from downtown metro and tourist attractions (Gay Village, Latin Quarter, Old Montreal, La Ronde, entertainment district, Botanical Garden, Biodome, Planetarium, Olympic Stadium, UQÀM, the Grande Library of Quebec, etc.).
What makes this Apartment unique
If you arrive at Montreal-Trudeau Airport, a bus shuttle will take you to Béri-UQÀM metro station. From here you take a taxi and you arrive in 10 minutes (max $ 20 CAD) at Bercy. You can also take a taxi directly from the airport to 2202, rue Bercy (max $ 55 CAD).

My wife and I and our two adult daughters had a very pleasant stay at Marie-Anne's place. The apartment itself was very well furnished with an eclectic mix of modern and quaint. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils and the beds were comfy. We also made use of the 3rd bedroom downstairs which had it's own AC and entertainment system. Marie-Anne lives downstairs with her 2 beautiful cats and was an absolute pleasant host tending to all our needs. The location was close to groceries and Metro and it was easy for us to get anywhere in this wonderful city, and it was also very relaxing and pleasant just to sit and have coffee or a glass of wine on the balcony. Our thanks to Marie-Anne for her wonderful hospitality, and we would gladly return again in the future!
The Andersen family is very respectful of the place and the rules, and Mr Andersen is a warm man who bother to call his host before his arrival. It creates a very appreciated human contact on both sides. At all times it will be a great pleasure for me to welcome this very charming family to my bed and breakfast Le Bercy.
Very nice apartment in Montreal
Marie Anne's apartment was very comfortable. You can tell she takes pride in hosting not only because of the stylish furnishings, but also because of her friendly welcome. We were left an organized notebook that answered pretty much any question we had during our stay.
The apartment itself, other than being stylish, is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay (and then some, to be honest.) It's also very close to the subway so getting around is a breeze, and there's a grocery store within walking distance which is super convenient.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Juan and his friends are young adults who are very responsible and respectful of the environment. I'm always surprised that when leaving even young adults do their dishes. At all times I will be happy to welcome Juan and his friends again to Le Bercy.
Amazing property and owner.
Location and property were exactly as described with everything we needed and more.
Marie Anne was very welcoming and helpful.
Absolutely lovely place!
This duplex was absolutely spectacular. The decor was chic and it was fully stocked with all amenities. Very close walk to the metro and grocery store. Would absolutely stay there again.
All bed and breakfast owners want to welcome people like the Reiley family. They are respectful people at all levels. They are welcome back at Le Bercy.
Super clean and very nicely equipped. Location is convenient to subway and downtown
I would like to say to the hosts that they have no fear of welcoming the Stahl family, where there are four children. During their stay nothing was broken, there was never excessive noise, and the apartment was left in a quite acceptable state. The family Stahl is welcome à Le Bercy.
Clean Quaint Montreal Rental
We were in Montreal for the F1 race. We had two couples and mainly used the property for sleeping. The home was clean and tidy and had ample kitchen accessories and the bathroom was really nice with the most amazing rain shower head. You can tell the entry doors and windows have been upgraded recently and the washer/dryer looked to be brand new. We stayed in early June when the nights were still pretty cool so we opened the windows at night and we didn't use the air conditioning at all but it looked like each room had a dedicated A/C system. The home is advertised as having 3 bedrooms but one of them is on the first floor. We decided to only use the upstairs to have complete privacy. The owner lives on the premises on the first floor. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and the metro is only a few blocks walk, which was really great. There is a large Provigo grocery store only a mile away that is easy to drive or walk to. The home had street parking and we had no trouble finding a spot. I will mention that the stairs leading to the upstairs unit are very steep and have a very tight curve as you arrive at the entry door at the top of the stairs. If you have any trouble with stairs, I would be concerned when staying here but it looked like most homes had exterior stairs that curved and were really tight so I'm not sure these stairs are a negative when comparing to the homes in Montreal. Also, for the guests staying in the guest bedroom at the front of the home, there are quite a few municipality or construction trucks that drive past very early in the morning that woke up the guests staying in that room almost every morning, even weekends. Again, we had the windows open so I'm not sure if the noise from those trucks would have been an issue if the windows were shut. Overall, I gave this place 5 stars b/c the things I mentioned above were things we noticed that others may care more about, but they weren't issues for us. Overall, our vacation in Montreal was great and we would consider staying here again.
It was a great pleasure to welcome Mrs. Houston and her friends. When they left the apartment was almost impeccable because they came back to Le Bercy almost only to sleep. Mrs. Houston even started a load of laundry before heading home. It will be a pleasure to welcome back Ms. Houston and her friends.
The duplex is located in a quiet residential area in front of which there is a complex of 103 condo units. 5 minutes walk to grocery store, bank, drugstore, cleaner, restaurants, BIXI stations, gym, free swimming pool without ID, tennis court 9$ CAN/h, etc. The location is also perfect for exploring Montreal by Metro. A quick walk to the Metro connects easily to anywhere you want to go! 15 minutes by subway from Gay Village, quartier latin, Old-Montreal, La Ronde, quartier des spectacles, Botanical Garden, Biodome, Planetarium, Olympic Stadium, UQÀM, the Grande Bibliothèque du Québec, etc. An airport shuttle goes to the pivotal Berri-UQÀM metro station. From there you take a cab and for only 20 $ CAD you arrive at Le Bercy within 10 minutes.
