Delightful house 100 meters from the beach of the well-kept private village "Calaverde", surrounded by greenery, the village has two tennis courts for a fee, basketball, playground, pool condominium fee, about 2 euros (open July and August) bar / restaurant, parks and gardens condominiums, guard24 h24, small marina. The market, tobacconist, newspapers is 200 meters from the apartment. At 10 km the charming town of Pula and in about 15 minutes by car you can reach the wonderful beaches of Chia, Tuerredda, Cala Cipolla, Su Giudeu and many others.

Sehr ordentlich, aber mit einigen Abstrichen!

Das Quartier war sehr sauber und die Ausstattung angemessen. Außerordentlich positiv und freundlich war die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Leider ist die Wohnung in allen Räumen zu dunkel, so dass auch bei strahlendem Sonnenschein Licht eingeschaltet werden muss. Das mag bei herrlichem Sommerwetter kein Problem sein, da man sich fast nur draußen am Strand aufhält, bei durchwachsenem Wetter im Oktober, so wie wir es hatten, ist es unschön. Dazu kam, dass nicht einmal die Tür geöffnet werden konnte, ohne dass gleich zahlreiche Stechmücken einfielen. Auch die Terrasse ist vollkommen schattig, wegen der Mücken bei feuchtem Wetter nicht zu benutzen, und im kleinen Garten scheint nur ab Mittag für einige Stunden die Sonne. Schade!

Not quite what we were expecting

We chose this location on the basis of the very well presented photos of the property and the beach. When we first opened the door our immediate impression was how dark the property was inside. No windows in the bedrooms or bathroom upstairs, just shafts through the roof which opened readily enough but did not close easily - not good when it rains. The bathroom was small and the shower was tiny. Downstairs, the lounge/kitchen diner was thoroughly adequate and everything necessary was provided. However, the veranda outside was dark and the traditional bamboo awning, leaked whenever it rained The BBQ in the garden was so full of ash as to be completely unusable. The beach is stupendous. It is closer to 300 metres away, but the walk is pleasant on a good day. Likewise the car park is a good 300 metres from the property. There is no internet at the property and it is only intermittently available at the reception area - 400 metres away. We would suggest citronella candles to deter the mosquitoes.

Schönes Haus direkt am Meer

Wir haben das Haus von 15.09 bis 25.09 für 2 Erwachsene gebucht. Das Ferienhaus ist toll und alles war so, wie es auch beschrieben wurde. Der Strand ist wirklich wunderschön und er ist sehr leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen (ca.200m). Leider haben wir etwas Pech gehabt und die erste 5 Tagen hat es einige Male geregnet. Da das Haus im Pinienwald steht und die Terrasse fast von allen Seiten geschlossen ist, hat zu einem „Saunaeffekt“ auf der Terrasse geführt und dort zu sitzen war fast unmöglich. Auch bei trockenen Tagen fällte uns abends etwas mehr frische Luft. Das Terrassendach (finde ich überflüssig) nimmt leider viel Tageslicht weg, deswegen war es im Wohnzimmer für uns zu dunkel. Aber, das ist eine Geschmacksache! Noch eine Anmerkung zu WLAN: im Haus gibts kein WLAN und das steht auch in der Textbeschreibung. Wir haben es leider überlesen, aber das Zeichen „Internet“ soll aus dem Abschnitt „Ausstattung“ rausgenommen werden! Das Internet gibts hier nur am Eingangstor. Da hier in der Comunione Calaverde nicht so viel los ist, würde ich raten ein paar Gesellschaftsspiele mitzunehmen. Die Nachbarstadt Pula ist für abendlichen Ausflüge auch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen und können es nur wirklich weiterempfehlen!

Great place, beautiful location, shame about the Wi-Fi!

The property is a small but perfectly formed place suitable for a family of four. Two reasonable sized bedrooms with a bathroom upstairs, plus kitchenette and lounge dining area downstairs. Outside there's a small unkempt garden and terrace area with a further larger dining set. The property is located in a private estate of similar houses, with designated parking, tennis courts, swimming pool and a pizzeria. We were not told that the tennis and pool are paid services €2/person each time. Also, the restaurant doesn't start serve until 7.30pm, so good to be aware of if you're planning to eat there after a tiring day of travelling with young ones! The excellent beach is a 7-8 minute walk, which is really handy when you can't be bothered to drive, though you will need a car. The only real downside is the lack of Wi-Fi, even though it is advertised. There is no dedicated Wi-Fi at the property, though reportedly there is in the park but we could not access it. It was a blessing in disguise for us as it meant not staring at TV, and there is ample 3G and 4G coverage on the island.

Wunderbarer Familienurlaub

Wir hab das Ferienhaus in der Comunione Calaverde in Santa Magherita di Pula von 07.07.2018 bis 21.07.2018 gebucht (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder). Das Ferienhaus war frisch renoviert, verfügte über 2 klimatisierte Schlafzimmer, Bad Küche/Esszimer und eine Terasse und ein paar Quadratmeter Grund der rundum mit einer Hecke umschlossen war. Es fehlte von der Ausstattung her an nichts auch Bettwäsche und genügend Handtücher waren vorhanden. Sogar ein Griler, mit Holz, Holzkohle und Grillbesteck war da. Die Anlage ist als gesamtes sehr gut gepflegt uns wunderbar in einem Pinienhain angeordnet. Auch ein kleiner Markt an der Einfahrt zur Anlage ist vorhanden. Der Strand ist wunderschön und wirklich nur in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zusammengefasst kann man eigentlich nur sagen - ein großartiger Urlaub.

Fantastic property and location!

This property had all we needed, set in a lovely village, close to a market and 5 minutes from a lovely beach. Perfect for families and close enough to many places to visit. Very handy to have a car. Unfortunately lots of mosquitoes so prepare for them and you will be fine. We heartily recommend this place. Lorraine F
