Once shop of ancient plows in wood to plow the fertile lands of the beautiful Murgia Barese, the trulli are surrounded by a lush forest and a few steps from the ancient Abbey of Barsento of 591 d. C. Restructured with original materials, they preserve the wood and architecture of the time.
The Trullo Ciliegio houses from 2 to 4 beds (a double bed and a sofa bed), with equipped kitchen and equipped bathroom.

Peace just outside of Alberobello

Loved our stay, this place is a gem. Giovanni was so welcoming and educated us about the history of Puglia. We had baked goods, water, fresh cut herbs, and peace waiting for us in a beautifully restored Trulli home. I wish we stayed longer as the outside patio was a great place to relax and eat.

Delightful stay in a real character property

Lovely converted trullo with many original features close to Alberobello. Giovanni greeted us and gave a private tour of the trullo and an overview of the history. He also provided advice on parking in the town, local restaurants etc. Lovely fresh fruit and other goods provided. Delightful and memorable place and would strongly recommend.

Charming and Characteristic

Our stay was perfect in every way as we like to enjoy the experience of authenticity. The host was kind and always available ensuring our comfort and satisfaction, but we were more than satisfied. We were in absolute awe! The trullo was comfortable and immaculate. Just a few minutes by car to downtown Alberobello. We would definitely stay again!

Superb

Wonderful, authentic Trullo with the most friendly and flexible host! It is a piece of art inside and outside, with family history and a heart for details. You cannot imagine the lenghts Giovanni will go through to make your stay memorable. When we arrived past midnight, he was waiting for us on the main road, waving his flashlight to make sure we found the entry to the poperty. Talk about dedication!
