All I could wish for

Very comfortable and welcoming accommodation, set inside a villa with a beautiful and very well-kept garden. The bathroom has just been renovated. It was nice enjoying breakfast in the patio outside and waking up with the birds singing.

Beautiful grounds and pool. The accommodation was a little bare bones for the price.

The unit we stayed in was sparsely furnished. The kitchen had most of the things we needed but no dish towels or pot holders and we cooked often. There were no basic condiments like salt and pepper. The description said linens/towels were included but when we asked for clean towels on the 6th day I was told that we only get one set and if we want more there was a charge of 2 euros per towel. We were 4 people. Cinzia the owner was very lovely but the other younger woman was unwelcoming and on the verge of rude. When I told her we weren’t told about washing our own towels which would have been fine, she said I should have asked. And the “rules are the rules and no exceptions”. In the end she did give us the clean towels as a courtesy but I don’t think I should have had to argue for them. And if that is the policy it is fine but they should make you aware at check in. The pool and grounds were amazing. Very clean and well kept. Small improvements might be basic condiments in the kitchen, some courtesy coffee on arrival and kitchen towels. Another important feature we needed wheelchair accessibility and they made sure to provide a ramp to enter and a small seat for the shower (which could have been a proper showere chair https://www.walmart.com/ip/Carex-Universal-Shower-Seat-Bath-Chair-with-Back). And perhaps some grab bars in the shower area along with a soap holder. All in all it was a lovely stay and a great central location to visit other parts of Sicily and even take the ferry to Calabria which we did. We would definitely return if we are ever to return to Aci Castello.

La résidence est correcte, la piscine et le jardin sont très beaux, mais quand on réserve avec 2 chambres, on ne s'attend pas à n'avoir qu'une chambre et un canapé lit dans le salon/cuisine!

OK lejlighed med masser af skabsplads og stort soveværelse, lidt rodet indhold af køkkenudstyr

Vi havde en dejlig ferie med nem adgang til lækker pool område og nyere liggestole og hyggeligt udeområde foran lejligheden. Beliggenheden passede os godt i forhold til indkøb og restauranter, dog anbefales det at have bil på stedet. Værtspar meget imødekommende og hjælpsomme, trods udfordret på engelsk.
