We had a fabulous week - the views from the cottage were beautiful, it was cosy and well equipped with everything we could need. Rural location but just a short walk down the footpath (15 mins) to a couple of lovely pubs. Easy to get to the coast for day trips too.
Idyllic country cottage property: very private location, but easy to access local facilities and attractions. Super views from the property which was well equipped and very comfortable. Great place for a week away with Family and Friends, so much to do an enjoy in this part of Yorkshire
The cottage was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The location was fantastic with elevated views across the ESk Valley, and the cottage had extensive grounds around the property that were both child and pet friendly. It was also in a quiet location, but Egton Bridge was easily accessible on foot by either a single track road or a path from the back garden. The interior was of a superior standard with individually styled rooms with all the comforts you would expect of a high end property. There was plenty of space for all of us with a large kitchen to eat and meet. The lounge was very comfortable with a log burner which included limitless logs from the garage store. We would definitely book again for a family holiday.
Beautiful cottage, fabulous location, amazing views across the valley of Egton. Shame the hot tub wasn’t in use. Nearby pub lovely. Easy to get to lots of interesting places nearby. We came up for the junior volunteer group’s week of activities on the North Yorkshire heritage steam railway as our son is a supervisor there. We have been to the area many times before and we love it. We have seen this cottage before when walking past, so it was lovely to stay here. A very enjoyable week, thank you

Thank you for taking the time to review the cottage - we are delighted you enjoyed your stay. Very sorry about the hot tub - however we are unable at this point to source a professional maintenance company to look after the hot tub for our guests. We look forward to welcoming you again. Kind regards
A lovely house in a lovely place. Our stay was marred by the septic tank overflowing, but this was sorted after a few days.
We would have expected to be told beforehand that it was unwise to drink the water. The supply of mineral water was limited to one 5 litre bottle.
There were other factors which made our stay stressful, but these were not related to the house.
A beautiful property in a glorious location. Multiple wonderful pubs/restaurants close at hand but the property is in a quiet location. Only noise is from the sheep! Heaven.
Due to Covid there were only two of us staying at the property . However everything was fine although adjusting to an electric AGA took time. The details for finding the property were a little scarce and if we hadn't had a smartphone with Google maps we would have had a major problem
Booked the cottage to celebrate husband’s retirement with our children - so glad we did - probably the best property we have ever stayed in. Warm and welcoming with high quality everything - could have stayed longer! Thank you so much.

We took our two teenage children, their grandma and 3 dogs. The house and grounds were beautiful. Beautiful surroundings and everything you need for a relaxing break. Great local walks and places to eat and only a short trip to the coast. We’d definitely book again!
This property is superbly situated either for adventures on the moors or fun at the coast. There are also some lovely walks directly from the property, and the local pubs serve very good food. The property manages to be extremely cosy whilst benefitting from extensive views to the rear aspect. Just great!
Super cottage accommodation set in a superb elevated location overlooking the Esk valley. Handily located for yorkshire moors and coast, we had a fabulous week exploring the area. The cottage was perfect to return to of an evening, to relax in comfort and recharge the batteries. Highly recommended and would hope to return.
We wanted a place for our family of 6 adults and 3 young children to share a birthday celebration in comfort and beautiful surroundings. We were not disappointed.
Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Blue Beck Cottage. It was perfectly situated for what we wanted - coast, moors, and easy access to other villages and York. We loved the area and took advantage of the many nearby walks.
The house was perfection. It was super comfortable and had everything we needed. We really appreciated all the high-end amenities - it was a total pleasure to spend time in the kitchen. The small details like the decor and the heated floors really made us feel like we could relax. And the views out the back were simply stunning. We enjoyed many hours out there just watching the clouds, reading and communing with the cows and sheep in the neighboring field.
We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!
