It is nestled between the two towns of The Hague Well and Portbail, both of which have superb restaurants and large weekly markets.

Portbail and Barneville Carteret offer large equestrian stables for horse riding and walks along the beach "activity not to be missed!"
From June to early September, most weekends, many nearby towns and villages hold festivals, exhibitions, and parties with music and outdoor food.
In summer, most cities organize Flea markets, which is essentially a furniture market, Bibelot, curiosities of all kinds. You can also go to Saint Sauveur le Vicomte where you will find many sale depots to find "the rare pearl !!! "

Mont St Michel is not far, and is a breathtaking place, highly recommend a visit.
There are also boat rides on the beautiful islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Sark and Alderney and if you are in the area for a long time, I would recommend a day trip.
The large beaches are ideal for sailing activities (sand yachting, kitesurfing ...)
The region is a paradise for hikers (the path of customs and routes in the dunes of Portbail and Barneville.
The town of "Villedieu les Poêles" is about 1 hour, it is an amazing place to visit to discover the manufacture of bells, artisanal ironwork, mainly the forge, which has been the main export of cities from the Middle East . Age.
Specific recommendations to the local restaurant:
'Aux 13 Arches' - it is a very good restaurant specializing in seafood (much of which is taken in a few km), It's a place
At the Fishermen's Rendezvous - a local fish restaurant that overlooks the estuary, and a perfect tour for the setting sun. The food is of high quality and very reasonable.
'The Sandbox', Lindbergh plague - a beach restaurant very close at the end of the road. Although not always open in winter, summer, the atmosphere is great !!! (Call to make a reservation), it has a very cool atmosphere, and we often play live music on saturday in summer. "The location is great."
