About the host
Hosted by Alec Lochore
Burgie Estate has been in the Lochore family for 4 generations. The estate boasts 1000 acres of farm and woodland, along with a 60 acre Arboretum, lochans and natural woodlands. The family have been working hard to make the estate a modern and thriving business that is something that can preserved and enjoyed by generations to come. This has meant that the estate has started to diversify and in 2017 they opened the Lodges.
Why they chose this property
Ben Wyvis Lodge has a tranquil atmosphere in a secluded spot. Sleeping up to 4 people it has space for either family or friends to enjoy the stunning views while having a brake from everyday life. With forest behind and stunning views over the Moray Firth the lodges boast arguably the best views in Moray. The interior of the lodge is light and modern and everything you would need for a relaxing getaway.
What makes this property unique
With beautiful sand beaches 2 miles to the north, with heather covered mountains a few miles to the south, with an arboretum in the garden, with several world famous links golf courses within a few miles, with castles and historical sites in abundance locally, Burgie lodges are a well positioned base to be able to explore the North of Scotland.
After a long day exploring the amazing highland and strathspey areas you can relax in you hot tub with arguably the best views of the moray coast. With its secluded spot you can really get away from everything, giving you space to reconnect with friends family or just your self.
