Not Just Another Cottage, This is NE Style and Comfort in the Best Location.
This is the second cottage in this location. If you are traveling with another group check to see if the other unit is available. Like the original this cottage is decorated in a clean and modern style with lots of art. Many of the works are local artist; Ward Hooper and Evelyne Brigeois to name a few. We have provided everything you will need to enjoy staying in the cottage while you visit Boise. In any hotel the bed is very important. The pillow top mattress, down duvet, and high thread count cotton linens at the cottage make for a restful nights sleep without the luxury hotel price! In the bath you will find plush, long staple cotton towels. When we travel we have always appreciated these important touches and hope they will make your stay more comfortable at the cottage.
The front patio is a great space to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Most everyone waves or says hi as they walk by. If you would like a more private outdoor space the back patio is screened from the street and surrounded by landscape. It has a BBQ and teak table and chairs. Most everything you will need is on the main floor; downstairs there are laundry facilities and a reading space. The garage is currently not available.
We love to meet guests and give them a tour of the home and any info that may make their stay better. We love talking about Boise and all there is to do, see and eat here. We are easy to get in touch with if you need anything during your stay.

About Darrin and Jill Fuchs
We both moved from Southern California about 16 years ago and love it. We met in Boise and enjoy everything about the city and surrounding area. Hiking, biking, and just cruising down the green belt or to one of the many great and unique restaurants downtown.
Darrin and Jill Fuchs purchased this Cottage in 2004
Why Darrin and Jill Fuchs chose North End
The North End has so much character many, many architectural styles, great old trees and it is so close to the downtown area with all the great coffee shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The cottage is a bright, fun place to hang out with a number of patios to enjoy in the spring and summer. Comfort is important so we have paid attention to the details to make this feel like home. People have told us they enjoy staying in a unique home that reflects the character of the area. Vanilla chain hotels are just not as much fun and few come with a kitchen and bikes!
What makes this Cottage unique
Loads of charm in a great location... with the added bonus of a nice collection of paintings by local artists. Beauty inside and out.. it's a good thing. This is an old fashioned grid neighborhood with huge trees. It's fun to just walk around and take in the views. Vintage homes, parks and close enough to everything that you can park your car and walk to it all. You will not be disappointed in the dining offerings in downtown Boise. When was the last time you went to a show, had dinner at a great restaurant and then walked home at the end of the evening? Welcome to the North End lifestyle. We appreciate the little touches like Egyptian cotton towels and quality high thread count sheets when we travel so we have included these things at the cottage for our guests.

This is my second time staying at this adorable little place, and I just love it! Very cozy and well-appointed. Plenty of street parking and close to everything.
Great place with amazing hosts.
The cottage is as described, very clean and close to downtown. Darrin and Jill were extremely responsive with fantastic communication. Highly recommended.
This is a very lovely, well appointed cottage. It was cozy and quiet, and the location is convenient to downtown and BSU. I will definitely rent again!
The units were in awesome condition and Darrin’s customer service is tremendous!
I will definitely come back. We rented both sides of the cottage and was fabulous. The bikes are a wonderful amenity and the neighborhood is perfect for riding and walking.
Thanks Eric! Glad you enjoyed your stay. Fall is a beautiful time of year in the neighborhood and not too cold to go cycling. It was a pleasure having you at the cottages. Please visit us again the next time you are in Boise.
All the best,
Darrin and Jill
A great little place!
My husband and I loved staying at this cute little home. We walked to Hyde Perk for coffee in the Hyde Park shopping area. And it was so close to downtown. The home had everything we needed. Having the washer and dryer (including soap and dryer sheet) was a huge plus after 7 days of traveling prior to arrival. Thank you to Darrin and Jill for the attention to detail and being so responsive to our questions. We definitely recommend staying here. We will look at rebooking here on our next trip to Boise.
Boise Bungalow Bliss!
This charming cottage is why we now ONLY stay in VRBO's when we travel! This cottage is in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. You can tell the owners spared no expense when making this cottage a home. The artwork, the decorator touches, the landscaping, the patios made us want to stay longer! The cottage is located in a walk to everything location. We enjoyed the 2 block walk to the Boise COOP, and the walk to Hyde Park attractions. The area is just lovely.I highly recommend this cottage for your Boise stay.
There is a lot to see, do and eat in downtown Boise. You are a seven minute walk from the state capital and great restaurants, coffee houses and theater.
