Nice place, great location
Perfect place and location for our needs.
Cozy and Comfortable
This home is in a great and quiet neighborhood. It met all our requirements. It was comfortable and clean. It was located close to shopping and wonderful restaurants. It is also really close to the Downtown Raleigh area. I would love to return again.
Fantastic location !! Great accommodations!!
Beautifully clean and well appointed
Perfect suburban setting
Nice 3 bedroom house with a large back yard, deck, grill, etc. Pictures are accurate, but probably understate the size of the house. Moderate/large master has walk-in closet, and a large en-suite bathroom with a large shower and separate tub. Kitchen is spacious and has plenty of pots, pans, cookware, utensils, etc.
Quiet suburban setting with lots of friendly neighbors, sidewalks, walking paths, and a playground nearby.
Less than 1 mile away from walking trails, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.
Less than 2 miles from the interstate (540 loop), so access to other destinations is pretty easy.
Yes, the driveway is steep. Don't attempt to drive up or down it if it's iced over, but any car should be able to navigate it just fine in dry or wet weather. I have a minivan, parked outside about 3 feet from the garage door, and had no issues loading/unloading kids, groceries, etc.
The AC went out while we were there (that's never the highlight of a trip in the summer), but Don acted immediately to get it fixed. Things break, and that's understandable, but how its handled is what really matters, and Don did an outstanding job coordinating repair and ensuring we had options if it was not able to be repaired in a reasonable time frame. It was fixed within a day, and considering a major part had to be ordered, I was impressed with how fast it was fixed.
We had a wonderful stay here. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely time and would stay again. There are restrictions on parking too many cars as it is a neighborhood but that wasn't a problem for us. Just FYI since I suppose if you are in town for a wedding or something you might have a lot of family coming over. The driveway is steep if you have mobility issues. We found the owners very helpful. The house is large and well equipped. A very nice place to stay!
Great house in a charming neighborhood!!!
We were there for the Ironman race and really enjoyed our first stay in Raleigh. While the house was further away from downtown than originally shown on Home Away, the house was great!! It was very clean and spacious. The driveway was a little steep, would definitely park in the street!! Overall, we really enjoyed the house and our stay!! Would definitely stay there again!!
