Welcome to Habitat 16! This gorgeous two Bedroom, two and a half baths Condo is waiting for you. This Rent On Padre condo is a beautiful 2 level unit, located on the 2nd floor. The top floor has both of your bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and its own bath! As well as a washer and dryer located between the two bedrooms! The living room has a queen size sleeper too. You also get two private balconies, one on each floor. Great for the morning coffee! You are going to love the charm of this condo.

This condo is located less than a block to the beach, has high speed internet, one assigned parking space, private pool, and two TVs! Everything you need to enjoy your home away from home!

Habitat 16 is pet friendly with a 20 pound weight limit if you are staying for one week or more. Please contact us directly for pet approval.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property has great potential but needs some love and attention. The furniture is old and very uncomfortable and should be updated. The kitchen utensils are worn, dirty, and need to be replaced. The coffee pot and stove burners were also dirty. There was visible mold growing in the second bathroom outside the shower stall that needs to be addressed. Overall, this is a great property, but improved cleaning, updated furnishings, and better attention to maintenance would make a huge difference.

The place had dead roaches in the lights, the iron was broken and should be thrown out because it looks like a fire hazard or shock hazard at this point. Lamps had broken cords that are also electrical hazards. The biggest issue is that there is NO TOWING enforcement. There are signs that say this but it’s not true. I had no where to park on July 4th weekend. The towing company will only come out of the owner of the building calls and you won’t get that at night or weekends. The overnight number given will tell you to just park somewhere else. Not Good

Great little place. My only negative was the beds were to firm for me. Over all 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice and quiet. 2 balconies for sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air.

Nice family getaway

Having never been to the island, it was nice not having to stay in a hotel. While the property is somewhat dated, it was charming and cozy. Other tenants not following the pool rules and broken blinds giving us minor privacy issues didn't take away from our stay. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Thank you for a great apartment. The location was great. We enjoyed staying here. I did have to clean when we got there. There seemed to be old coffee or food splattered around on the appliances and walls and the floor made our feet black, I got a stiffer mop, but other than that it was great.

They had a swimming pool, close to the beach. They are strict on their requirements but yet I could not sleep the first night since people were in the swimming pool til 3 am with loud music. I was not able to park in my assigned parking spot for the first and second day. I had to park in the grass across the street. Overall the place was super clean and close to the beach!!

Property was good. Too many stairs to get to it. Pool was great. The entry door needs adjusted hard to close and open. The AC unit worked greaat but it made a loud humming noise at was mostly noticeable. Had trouble sleeping. Other than that it is a great location.

Overall experience was good. And when we notified mgmt it was taken care of quickly. The biggest disappointment was how dirty the pool was. And that the light in the pool did not work which made swimming at night more dangerous for younger kids as it was difficult to see them under water.

It was okay

Our stay was decent but the place was a lot older than it appeared. Few things needed to be update and were falling apart. The walk to the beach took longer cause the entrance was closed. The other guests were loud at the pool and messy there was no one to manage them. The furniture seems old and needed deep cleaning.

The pullout was broken, ants all over the kitchen, rules seemed as if they didn't apply to everyone. And wasn't the cleanest either.

Tough Week

There were numerous issues with this property. The first 2 nights there was no power and we were given a new place to stay (a very nice place). We returned to Habitat 16 to no A/C, bathroom overflows, no power in the guest bath, grill not working, washing machine not working and urine stains on the sleeper sofa. Management addressed the major issues and refunded one nights fee for no AC. These issues created a very stressful week of vacation and I will NOT return to Habitat 16!

Not horrible but not great

Overall the rental was ok. It had basic necessities but nothing extra. It was fairly clean but the floors were definitely dirty and our feet were black walking on them. We had a toddler with us and the unit was in no way baby proofed, despite us notifying Rent on Padre we were coming with a 1 year old. This would have been a nice heads up. The location was within walking distance from the beach, which was nice. The furniture definitely needs to be updated. Overall it was just ok and we would probably not stay there again. Again, not horrible but not great either.
