Completely restored 16th century Périgourdine house in stones and exposed beams, situated in a green setting at the crossroads of the four Périgords.
Large Dining Room (50m2) with fireplace, stone paving, Farmhouse table and benches, antique and quality furniture. Fully equipped kitchen, pro dishwasher, pro kenwood robot, etc. Laundry / boiler. Large Mezzanine Lounge with sofas and Jotul insert.

Happy Times at Maison Neuve

A characterful old farmhouse with open hearths and comfortable seating both inside the house and in the outdoor living area. Christel and Alain were very helpful and attentive hosts and we would throughly recommend this property who wanted an unusual but welcoming and comfortable holiday

Fabulous 590 year old house near Bergerac

This lovely old house sits quietly in a tiny hamlet 15 minutes drive from Bergerac. It has a large garden shared with the owners who live next door. Darcey, our boxer dog, loved meeting fellow pooches from next door. The house is a one minute drive from the main N 21 road so it’s easy to get anywhere easily and quickly. The hosts Christel and Alain are kind and friendly - nothing is too much trouble and they gave us a fab recommendation for a local restaurant.

Peaceful location in historic stone house.

Alain and Christel gave us a warm welcome. They showed us around the property and generously shared homemade treats & a bottle of Bergerac wine. The 500 + year old home has beautiful stone work, wood beams and antiques. Two kitchens, 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators was so handy for our group of 4 adults. The house stays cool in the main living areas and there are 4 fans inside and 1 outside in the fabulous outdoor kitchen. The big trees provide shade and it’s lovely to take walks in the area. Fields of sunflowers, woods, and sweet donkeys down the road provide peaceful charm. One note for coffee lovers… the coffee maker takes about 45 minutes to brew.

Superb House - wonderful outside kitchen

The house has a wonderfully peaceful location in a hamlet of 4 buildings including the owners next door. The building is kept cool by the 16th century design and the owners have added a fascinating collection of artefacts adding character, Creature comforts are not forgotten with two good bathrooms each well equipped. There was more than enough space for the two of us and a party of 8 would be comfortable. The stand out feature is the outdoor kitchen. It has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. How Christel and Alain manage to keep the inside of those cupboards so much cleaner than ours at home indoors I will never understand. Not a cobweb anywhere!! The owners are extremely helpful and friendly but also fully respectful of their guests privacy. Our thanks to them both.

Campsegret et ses plaisirs

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au calme dans les campagnes de Bergerac mais toutefois à proximité des villes (pour les amateurs de vieilles pierres, de marchés et de shopping). Suffisemment de lacs où passer des après midi au soleil. Canoës, promenades aux alentours. Sans oublier ses châteaux et dégustations de vins. Un grand plus, une cuisine de jardin super équipée pour passer des soirées très agréables.

Belle maison, gentils hôtes, trės bien située

Chère Christel, cher Alain, grand merci pour la gentillesse, la chaleur et le coeur ouvert de votre accueil, pour les soirées conviviales ravissantes partagées avec vous, pour les délicieux et originaux plats périgourdins qu’on n’aurait jamais connus sans vous. Et merci bien sûr de nous avoir aidés à découvrir tant d’endroits charmants jamais mentionnés dans le guides touristiques. Nous avons aussi aimé la généreuse maison avec ses si beaux meubles, dans laquelle nous nous sommes égares au début, pour en arriver aux regrets de devoir la quitter. Sans parler de l’environnement beau et serein autour d’elle. Une semaine inoubliable, merci!

Tres agreable

La maison est très agréable et fraîche ce qui est très appréciable lors des grosses chaleurs. Certains équipements mériteraient d'être renouveles (tel que lave-vaisselle et canapé du salon), mais l'appréciation est très positive vis à vis de la situation géographique, de l'environnement et de la maison.

Superbes vacances

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette grande maison décorée avec goût dans le charme de l'ancien, très propre avec toutes les commodités. La cuisine d'été est vraiment un plus, nous y avons pris tous nos repas et passé toutes nos soirées. Le cadre est très beau, ombragé et au calme. Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et très accueillants. Une semaine inoubliable pour toute la famille, merci encore à eux de nous faire profiter d'un si joli cadre. Nous étions 8 adultes et sommes unanimes pour recommander sans réserve cette location. Nous espérons y revenir un jour.

Lovely stay near Campsegret

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Campsegret. The house is spacious and cool in the hot weather. Looks out to a lovely garden with an outside area to cook and eat. Nature et confort

Location très originale du fait de sa cuisine d'été, qui fait office aussi de pièce à vivre en plus de la maison située en face. Donc quelque soit le temps, on peut changer de lieu. Séjour très agréable. Beaucoup d'espace, toute la famille a apprécié du plus jeune au plus âgé. Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et généreux, ce dont nous les remercions encore.

Superbe gîte

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, l’endroit est vraiment chouette. Le gîte est très bien équipé, la cuisine extérieur nous a permis d’être en extérieur tout le temps , les arbres nous ont permis de profiter malgré la canicule. La balançoire a fait le bonheur des 3 enfants. Les propriétaires sont vraiment gentils, sans être envahissant ils sont là pour nous aider à passer un bon séjour dans cette superbe région. Situé à proximité de lacs ou étangs très pratique quand on a des enfants en bas âge :-). Merci encore, on reviendra! (Petit détail mais qui peut ne pas en être 1, la literie est bonne ce qui est rare dans ce type de location).

Une location de rêve.

Christelle et Alain sont très accueillants et adorables. Discrets tout en étant très présents et serviables. Le gîte est spacieux, très bien équipé et très propre. Au cours de notre séjour estival nous avons énormément apprécié les ombrages et la convivialité du grand espace de cuisine d’été extrêmement bien aménagé lui aussi. Gîte à conseiller.

Très belle proprièté

Nous avons passés deux semaines de vacances en famille à Campsegret. La description et les photos correspondent entièrement à la réalité. Maison très propre et très bien équipée. L'accueil des propriétaires est au top, nous avons rarement eu un si bon accueil ( petites attentions, lits fait à l'arrivée,..). Nous conseillons vivement cet endroit en famille ou entre amis, non loin de Bergerac, et de multitudes endroits à visiter. Maison au calme dans un environnement verdoyant et entretenu. La cuisine d'été est vraiment un plus. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Un grand merci aux propriétaires!

Parfait

Excellent séjour, hôtes très accueillants, la maison allie le charme de l’ancien et tout le confort de la modernité. Elle reste très fraîche par ces temps caniculaires.Jeux pour petits et grands ( balançoire, ping-pong jeux de société). Une mention spéciale pour l’immense cuisine d’été avec lave vaisselle et cuisinière pro ...et un charme fou. Nous reviendrons.

House is a lovely updated 500 year home. Comfortable beds, excellent kitchen, and gracious hosts. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home. We visited for one week at the end of April. Many sights to see within an hour to 90 minutes. And a perfect home to relax in !!

nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Christel... la maison est conforme à ceux qui est décrit, le niveau d'équipement est très bon, le jardin agréable et ...la cuisine d'été est idéale et constitue le premier lieu de vie en cette période estivale. l'accueil, les conseils et la relation à christel et alain ont été très agréable ! beau séjour, à conseiller pour passer du temps en famille ou entre amis ! merci Rodolphe
