OVERVIEW
The Copenhagen is known for its unique history—originally built and owned by the founder of Mountain Creek Ski Resort, and was recently purchased by a Manhattan architect, who redesigned it to a stunning modern-style chalet. This magnificent one-acre property is gated all around to allow children to confidently wonder between the private tennis and basketball court, heated pool, spa, and outdoor play areas. The 360 degrees of breathtaking mountain-views is only “interrupted” by a beautiful 9-hole golf course (north) and the ski slope (south), both of which are tangential to the house and accessed directly through the northern and southern gates. Nature doesn’t fade as you walk into the house. With all the many windows, every part of the house is decorated with intense living green art and bathed with natural sunlight. The hardwood oak floor, contrasted reclaimed wood walls, provides warmth and coziness to the house. As you walk into the main space, a 200-million-year-old fossilized wood fireplace greets you. The center of a cozy living area is filled with sunlight, natural wood, and leather. The space then stretches to the dining area, with a uniquely-designed 12ft red oak reclaimed wood table and onto a high-spec and fully-equipped kitchen.

Take your morning espresso on the golf-facing balcony or the pool deck, and catch the sunset with a glass of wine on the amazing skiers deck or in the west balcony. During the winter, you can watch the skiers from the living and dining areas or join them; literally a few steps, and you’re on the slope. This is a great retreat for mixtures of avid skiers and guests who simply want to enjoy the spoils of the house or relax by the fireplace and watch the family ski by.

During the warm months, you won’t spend a day waiting for the pool to heat up. The pool and hot tub/Jacuzzi temperatures are controlled remotely and will be heated in advance of your arrival. Once there, download the app to modify your preferences. The house is equipped with state-of-the-art home theater and whole-house zoned Sonos, which feeds around 50 speakers in the house and another dozen in the pool, surrounding decks and the tennis/basketball court. Download the free Sonos app, and have the music you love at your fingertips and throughout most spaces in the property and out. There are six large-screen Smart TVs in the house. Cable in main living area. All have HBO+Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon box, Google Chromecast and a Sonos Home Theater sound system.
