No wifi - no oven

The location was as expected. The property has one shower. After checking in we messaged the manager that there was no wifi. Unfortunately we ended up with with no wifi for three days. The oven was also broken. A technician was called but couldn't fix it. We were not offering any compensation for these inconveniences. You may consider renting somewhere else.

We have just come back from lake como. We stayed at the lovely Italian house Villa Patricia which is very well equipped and has a beautiful view of the lake, really stunning, lovely to sit on the balcony and eat and admire the view of lake como. The local village has two lovely restaurants which has a large menu catering for all. One restaurant is on the main road and the second beside the lake both serving good food. We used the local transport which is very reasonable and you buy the tickets at the local bar, everybody is very friendly and helpful there are local shops, supermarket, bar, grocers etc. You can either catch the bus to Como the main town or ferry. Como is for keen shoppers with some lovely shops or you can relax at the local towns and watch the world go by. We visited menaggio where we caught a ferry to Verenna and Bellagio, both beautiful. Here you can watch the world go by while eating lovely Italian ice cream which is a must. This is far the prettiest place we have visited and we have been to many countries, we will definitely return to Villa Patricia again next year.

Het huis is groot genoeg voor 4 volwassenen. Het contact met het kantoor was erg goed en behulpzaam. Enkele opmerkingen: de afzuigkap is extreem vies, ik heb hem niet aangeraakt. Over het algemeen is het interieur verouderd, veel lampen werken niet. Ik zie dat er een nieuwe keuken is geplaatst, maar als ik de koelkastdeur open, valt hij naar voren. Over het algemeen hebben we een zeer goed verblijf gehad, de villa kan wel wat extra schoonmaak en een opknapbeurt gebruiken.

Vacances au calme

Pas loin de la plage mais interdiction de se baigner car eau polluée. Route trop dangereuse pour aller au parking. Les italiens roulent beaucoup trop vite. j' ai failli être renversee malgré que j étais sur les passages cloutés. Pas de superettes et d animations dans le village.

Perfektes Häuschen für Familie

Das Häuschen ist perfekt für eine Familie, da man auf 2 Stockwerken lebt. So ist Platz für alle. Leider gibt es nur 1 Dusche....das ist ein riesen Engpass mit 5 Kindern. Aber hat geklappt. Die Heizung ist des öfteren ausgefallen, aber mein Mann ist ein 'Handyman' und konnte alles leicht wieder in Schwung bringen. Küche ist gut ausgestattet und funktioniert gut. Die Lage ist prima, für kleinere Kinder allerdings gar nicht empfehlenswert, da man die Sachen vom Auto weit tragen muß und die Straße sehr befahren ist. Die Autofahrer:innen vor Ort halten sich nicht an die Geschwindigskeitsbegrenzungen und fahren viel zu schnell im Ort. Mit Jugendlichen war das alles aber kein Problem. Der nächst größere Ort Menaggio ist eine 'Perle' am Comer See und einfach vom Häuschen aus erreichbar, von dort gehen auch alle Boote ab. Man kann auch wunderschöne Wanderungen ab dem Häuschen in Acquaseria selbst machen. Menaggio hätten wir uns nicht leisten können. Von daher ist das Häuschen in Acquaseria ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Enttäuscht waren wir von der Firma die das Objekt vor Ort verwaltet (Lake Como Rentals, Happy Holiday), wir hatten eine Anfrage bezüglich des Kaminofens. Ein Herr antwortete auch auf die Telefonnummer die uns als Kontakt extra gegeben worden war, er war aber ganz und gar nicht informiert und konnte/wollte uns nicht helfen. Schade.

Schönes Haus

Wir haben unseren Urlaub an dem schönen Comer See sehr genossen. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet. Das einzige Negative war, dass das Geschirr teilweise dreckig war. Der Grund ist anscheinend der nicht richtig funktionierende Geschirrspüler. Somit mussten wir selbst abwaschen. Allerdings hat der Ausblick alles wieder gut gemacht. Insgesamt war der Urlaub super.

Traumhafte Lage

nettes altes historisches Bauernhaus modernisiert. Schöne Lage 2 Min vom See und großer Badestelle mit Park. Für Kinder ab Schulalter gut geeignet. Kein Parkplatz am Haus, man muß das Gepäck hochtragen. Sind aber nur 2 Min zu gehen.

We loved the quiet town of Aquaseria and the villa had a nice view of the lake with many old roads to explore.

Preis/Leistung passt nicht

Das Objekt hat leider die Putzfee schon lange nicht gesehen. Davon zeugt ein toter Skorpion in der Bettwäsche und Dreck in vielen Ecken. Parkplätze ist eine Katastrophe, wenn man Pech hat, sucht man irgendwo im Dorf nach Parkplätzen. Das Haus liegt nicht weit vom Strand was sehr positiv ist und ist einfach zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Dorf nicht wirklich, nur ein Obst und Gemüsehändler. Sonst ist in der Gegend nichts los, muss man also in die nächstgrößere Stadt fahren. Zwei Restaurants sind vorhanden, die aber zum Teil reserviert werden müssen wenn man einen Tisch haben möchte. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war jedoch immer gut. Trotzdem hat mich das Objekt nicht überzeugt, daher nur 3 Sterne. Für das Geld gibt es schönere Plätze in Europa.

August 2016 Stayed at villa patricia in Acquaseria at lake como , it was lovely only wished we could have stayed longer. The accommodation had everything we needed sometimes we ate in and the other time we went out to eat at the two resturants. In the previous review, the resturants are both walking distance and the menu caters for everybody. We managed to purchase everything we needed at the local shops there is a larger supermarket in Menaggio if needed along with lots of other shops. The ferry service is really good along with the local buses, because of this we did not need to hire a car. the view of the lake is lovely while sitting on the balcony at villa patricia this was our favorite place to sit and have a drink and just relaxed. the local people are very friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble. this has been one of the nicest holidays we have had , we thought it had everything you can do as much or as little as you wish to, you can get a train to Milan and the swiss border is not very far away. August 2016 We have just come back from lake como. We stayed at the lovely Italian house villa patricia which is very well equipped beautiful view of the lake really stunning, lovely to sit on the balcony and eat and admire the view of lake como, the local village has two lovely resturants which has a large menu catering for all. One restaurant is on the main road and the second beside the lake both serving good food, we used the local transport which is very reasonable and you buy the tickets at the local bar everybody is very friendly and helpful there are local shops , supermarket, bar, grocers etc you can either catch the bus to como the main town or ferry. Como is for keen shoppers with some lovely shops or you can relax at the local towns and watch the world go by.
