We have just returned and the cottage is lovely spotlessly clean , could do with more upto date.
We have just returned and the cottage is lovely spotlessly clean , could do with more upto date. Pictures as the bathroom has changed and is superb but shower is very slow not much power. The bed not to our comfort but our personal choice . Kitchen is well equipped. A added bonus is the private garden for the dog 🕠the area is very quiet , the pub at the end of the road is good .the biggest issue for us was it was too far out of town for us , it would be a good half hour walk into town.

A fantastic property with all you need and more.
A fantastic property with all you need and more. The cleanest property we’ve stayed in, especially for a dog friendly property (which we love!) Spotless! Great location with North Bay just a walk down a foot path & a great location to explore Scarborough overall. We loved peasholme park too, which is also just a walk or very short drive away. We went out of season, but loved that there weren’t many tourists/people and made the most of the location to walk plenty & tire ourselves and our out pooch out. Julie & David are great hosts and communication is 5 star.
Can highly recommend this lovely clean little house. It has everything you need (except a pizza cutter!). It’s a short (steep) walk to the beach and there is a family pub and Tesco Express nearby. Parking is good. We were in Scarborough for a funeral but otherwise would have enjoyed it very much. Ideal if you have a dog, plenty of walks

Beach walk Cottage was fabulous.
Beach walk Cottage was fabulous. Location was great with several different ways to get to North Beach. One was only 10 mins walk! The bed was very comfy. The instructions for walks and recommended pubs was really useful. The welcome of chocolates and fizz and a dog treat was just such a lovely touch. And the use of a Tesco club card was great. (Tesco is literally a 5 min walk) In terms of kitchen it had everything we needed and even salt and vinegar as well as tea coffee sugar and a pint of milk when we arrived. The only thing we missed was probably a footstool as at home we are used to recliners however there is not much room in the longe - was not an issue just our preference. Oh and maybe a TV in bedroom. The bathroom was lovely and modern and the towel rail kept the bathroom lovely and warm. Fabulous little place in a great spot - thankyou - we enjoyed our stay
Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely compact cottage. Lovely area with nice neighbours. Great secure garden if you have a dog and with a short walking distance to the beach and a Tesco Express. The cottage itself was warm and cosy with everything you could need to self cater. The very nice welcome gifts were much appreciated. We'd certainly come again.

We had a fabulous week at Beach Walk cottage.
We had a fabulous week at Beach Walk cottage. It is so comfortable for a couple and very well equipped, the photographs are a little out of date and they don't do it justice. It is a short, traffic free walk to the North Bay - just perfect.

A neat little house, comfortable bed and extremely well thought out in detail of equipment. A much appreciated welcome pack and excellent information about local walks, pubs etc. It is a short traffic free walk to the sea front. The little garden was much appreciated. We used this property when places were just beginning to open and the owner had organised everything thoroughly.

The cottage was the cleanest & cosiest I've ever stayed in.
The cottage was the cleanest & cosiest I've ever stayed in. It had everything I needed & it was close to all amenities. The welcome pack was a really lovely touch too. I was on holiday on my own but was never stuck for anything to do even though most things were off because of the late season. The beach is only a short walk away as is the gorgeous Peasholm Park. There are lots of shops nearby & interesting places like Whitby & Staithes to visit. I very highly recommend this particular cottage and its situation. I will definitely be coming back.

Ideally situated dog friendly, very clean property. All necessary equipment provided. Comfortable bed, only negative would be settee in lounge which has a very low back, and found it uncomfortable. Same problem with arm chair. Overall, excellent value for money though.
