Con una magnífica ubicación en el centro de un tranquilo pueblo rural en el hermoso y virgen valle de Ceiriog, esta encantadora cabaña de conversión independiente ofrece un alojamiento sumamente cómodo y espacioso dentro de los terrenos de la antigua rectoría. El baño cuenta con una maravillosa ducha de efecto lluvia y en el exterior, las magníficas vistas del valle se pueden disfrutar desde la bonita terraza elevada. El Coach House también tiene un pequeño balcón y un jardín de hierbas en el patio. El pueblo cuenta con dos galardonados pubs gastronómicos del país. Hay maravillosos paseos: las montañas Berwyn están en la puerta y Snowdonia está a poca distancia, también se pueden observar aves y pasear en pony. Chirk, una ciudad fronteriza histórica, tiene una buena selección de tiendas, un magnífico castillo (NT) y el acueducto Telford del siglo XIX, mientras que los trenes de vapor de Llangollen, los paseos en barco por el canal y la famosa música Eisteddfod están a poca distancia. Compre 5 millas, pubs que sirven comida a 100 yardas.

The Coach House is a charming property, with everything you could possibly need while on holiday.

The Coach House is a charming property, with everything you could possibly need while on holiday. Our host, Patrick, was excellent. We had a small issue with the central heating, so I sent him a text message, he called me back within minutes and talked me through what to do. The location, although quite remote, had two award winning pub restaurants. We used the Hand Hotel on two or three occasions, and our meals were superb. As you would expect being in a remote location, most of the roads were very narrow and full of potholes. There is however, plenty of passing areas, so not a major problem, providing you take care. For those you enjoy country walking, there is an abundance of varying levels on the doorstep.

A lovely venue, very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The lounge/ kitchen and patio area on first floor gives great views over open countryside. Bathroom and spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed on ground floor. The Hand Hotel/Pub is across the road in the centre of the village, and is very welcoming and serves excellent food. Quite a remote location, but lots to do and see in the local area. Best approached on the A4500 from Chirk - take care on bends as these country roads are narrow in places.

Room with a view.

Everything was of a very good standard and extremely well equipped. The view from the lounge/kitchen was superb and it was a pleasure to sit outside and soak in the beauty of the Welsh Hills. The pubs were just a few paces away from the accommodation and the food and drink at The Hand was excellent. Very friendly staff.

The Coach House was perfect.

The Coach House was perfect. The location is idyllic, with an amazing view from the first floor sitting area. The heating was on for when we arrived, which was very welcoming!! Really comfy stay, well equipped, slept really well!! The Hand pub is literally at the bottom of the drive, the food is amazing. Lots to do in the local area, Pistyll Rhaeadr is highly recommended. We don’t really want everyone to know how lovely this place is as we want it to remain unspoilt! It is remote and there are no local shops but a great pub across the road serves really good food. We have visited The Coach House on multiple occasions now and we just love it. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the views from the cottage and the surrounding area are absolutely magnificent. There are 2 pubs within a very short walk of the cottage, both of which serve excellent food (The Hand being our favourite). Although there is no mobile phone signal, the Wi-Fi is excellent and there is a landline at the cottage if needed. Great break in a lovely part of Wales, cottage was perfect for 2 with views you could sit and look at all day long even with some pretty mixed weather. Great walks from the door and 2 fantastic pubs 100 yards away with lovely warm cottage to come back to didn't need to light the log burner even in November. Only slight negative was rain shower didn't get red hot but was lovely if switched over to handheld and owner said he would get plumber to check it out as we left. Overall fantastic stay would highly recommend

We had a fantastic 4 night stay at The Coach House. Great cosy upside down cottage with lovely views and very well equipped (only negative was the wood burner being difficult to light). Cottage is in a lovely peaceful location with plenty of walking straight from the doorstep. Added bonus of 2 pubs in the village we ate twice at The Hand and had 2 superb meals. Een pareltje in een geweldige omgeving.

Een complete en super schone vakantiewoning voor 2 personen. Alles is aanwezig en is met smaak ingericht. Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer is soms adembenemend mooi. Wandelen in de omgeving is prachtig en er zijn mooie monumenten in de buurt. Echt tot rust gekomen in deze heerlijke Cottage!
