Lovely accommodation for families.
Lovely accommodation for families. Spacious open plan living area, cosy heating and private parking make this holiday cottage an ideal choice. Far reaching views of the local countryside an extra bonus. Very close to Beamish and a short drive to Newcastle for city days out. A shame there is only one bathroom but for a short break, it was fine.
Lovely cottage. Lots of space. Very clean and well equipped.

Was a great holiday cottage.
Was a great holiday cottage...spacious, another toilet downstairs would be ideal or having an en suite and having wifi as there is no wifi but overall it was lovely.

The cottage is spacious and warm.
The cottage is spacious and warm. The kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of hot water. Very peaceful location. It would be useful to have wifi to search for walks and eateries. Also due to allergies an alternative to feather pillows would be of benefit. A second toilet would also be useful.

We recently stayed for 11 nights during Christmas visiting family for the holidays. I was absolutely satisfied with the accommodations and to our surprise the property owner had put up a Christmas Tree and decorated the cottage for Christmas! The cottage was so warm and inviting and is very suitable for longer stays. Will be back soon! Thank you Heather & Kelly for sharing your property with us!

Fantastic cottage!
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage.
Fantastic cottage!
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed and more, Heather even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. They included lovely soft towels, linen, toilet rolls etc. There was lots of space, a large Kitchen and dining room as well as a cosy lounge with a nice gas wood burner. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The location was perfect for us, we visited the Beamish museum, the metro centre and the coast.
We would highly recommend and definitely go back.

We did enjoy our stay at the cottage, it was very clean and lots of space.
We did enjoy our stay at the cottage, it was very clean and lots of space. There were also great facilities within the cottage. The only downside we felt were the beds and pillows weren’t the comfiest, the pillows were very hard and actually struggled to sleep with them.
