Enclosed courtyard garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Sorry, no hen or stag parties.. This well-presented 17th-century detached property has the advantage of being only 10 minutes’ walk from the renowned West Wittering beach. Its attractive interior boasts many period features, such as beams and a superb inglenook fireplace in the living room. This is an ideal base for exploring the delights of Chichester, with its popular festival theatre and picturesque harbour. Arundel and Bosham harbour also within easy reach. Shops ¼ mile and pub 200 yards.

Great stay.

Great stay. Beautiful cottage and location. Felt so homely. Beach 10 minutes walk. Good walks for dogs too. East wittering also has restaurants and pubs. We have stayed in the witterings now 4 times and always had a great time.

We had a really lovely 2 night stay at Apple Tree Cottage. Such a quaint cottage and we loved the open fire! Great location as only 10 minutes walk to the beach. Was perfect for the 5 of us plus dog. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to stay here again some time. Nice touch to leave us a bottle of wine and a packet of biscuits on arrival. Really glad we chose Apple Tree Cottage.

Short stay

Nice place to stay with easy access to beach, flat 10min walk. Down stairs bedroom was nice as spiral stairs were narrow and steep. Lovely place though with lots of character and some nice sunny spots in the garden.

We had a fabulous stay for 2 nights at Apple Tree Cottage. As 8 adults we had plenty of room, the pictures didn’t do the size of the rooms justice. Parking being included was a great help. And with shops less than 5 mins away we had everything we needed including logs for the fire. You are an ideal 10 mins away walk from the beautiful beach with a cafe which a lovely treat for a cold wintry weekend. The hosts were helpful and communicative. Thank you!

What a fantastically quirky cottage. The garden was beautiful, the accommodation was comfortable and we really enjoyed the 'hobbit' door into the small room. The location was perfect for the beach and walks around the coast as well as Chichester, The Roman villa at Fishbourne and Arundel Castle. Fab cottage.

Fab cottage. Quirky and near a beautiful beach and great pub. Lots of walks and local amenities about 10 min drive. Great open fire, need to buy logs from local shops. Dogs allowed too. Would recommend and would go back
