Les Dairy & Castle Cottages formaient autrefois le byre et la laiterie adjacents Ă  Aros Mains, domicile de James Maxwell, chambellan du duc d’Argyll. Ils se trouvent Ă  l'intĂ©rieur des bas du chĂąteau d'Aros du XIIIe siĂšcle, autrefois occupĂ© par les seigneurs des Ăźles. Les Dairy & Castle Cottages offrent un lieu de dĂ©tente confortable pour profiter de paysages spectaculaires, de la faune et de la flore. g. Les aigles de mer Ă  queue blanche, les loutres, les aigles d'or, les cerfs, les grands dauphins et Ă  environ 100 mĂštres de la plage offrent l'occasion de voir une grande variĂ©tĂ© d'oiseaux de mer, notamment le hĂ©ron, le pĂȘcheur d'huĂźtres, etc. L'emplacement central de l'Aros Mains Apartment, du Dairy & Castle Cottages permet d'explorer l'Ăźle de Mull. Great and quiet location. The apartment is clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The only drawback is the size of the double bed which has only 140cm width.

Excellent stay at Dairy Cottage

We had a brilliant stay on Mull at Dairy Cottage. We were a group of 4 adults and 1 3 year old and the cottage was perfect. The location was great for exploring the island and we spent most of our days exploring the beaches as the weather was fabulous. Richard was very welcoming and met us on arrival, and no doubt would have been on hand had we needed anything during our stay. Hope to back, in fact we need to be to defend Rob's sportive title!

Fantastic!

Dairy Cottage was very clean and well presented. It couldn't be in a better position in the island amd what a bonus to have a castle and a beach literally a stone's throw away. Mull is a beautiful island and this was an ideal place to explore from. It was lovely to speak to the owners who were very kind, welcoming and helpful. We would most definitely return!

Exceptional cottage and location

Clean, welcoming and very comfortable cottage situated above Salem Bay. The village of Salem has a good village shop. Roads lead from the village to every corner of the island. We particularly loved the island of Ulva and it's excellent Boathouse restaurant. Duart Castle was another favourite. We had sightings of magnificent eagles, but missed out on otters. It rained every day, but we had a lovely holiday.

A wonderful week in a cozy cottage

The cottage is perfectly placed to tour the isle with it being only a 15 min journey from the ferry port. A handy spar in Salen is nearby for all your needs and Tobermory is a quick and pleasant journey away. The cottage is spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable. There was nothing we needed that our hosts hadn’t thought of. The views were spectacular especially when the local red deer paid us a visit at night. I also loved visiting the chickens daily. Look up and golden eagles were overhead, listen to the owls at night, watch the tiny bats hunt for food and look out for a pair of herons who live nearby too. A nature lovers dream! A short walk from the property led to a beach from which we took our daily dip. We walked there and back in our wetsuits. If I could move there I would. Thank you Richard and Kirsten for such a lovely little break for our family x

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Es hat uns sehr gefallen! Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man benötigt, sogar ein wireless Lautsprecher, ĂŒber den man seine Musik abspielen kann. Auch in der KĂŒche findet man alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt.Richard ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett und hat uns noch Platz in seinem GartenhĂ€uschen fĂŒr unsere FahrrĂ€der gemacht.Auch die Lage ist recht zentral und gĂŒnstig fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in verschiedene Richtungen. Wir empfehlen das Haus uneingeschrĂ€nkt!

Super well maintained property and grounds in a peaceful setting overlooking the castle ruins and sea beyond. The cottage was cosy, homely and well equipped and host helpful and friendly. Local amenities just 2 miles away in Salen.

Perfect week

This property was ideal for our first time on the Isle of Mull. The property was clean and spacious. The owners were next door and they were very pleasant and helpful. There is a small beach nearby and a circular walk of just over a mile which was a good way of beginning or ending the day. The location was ideal for the ferry, Tobermory and visiting the north and central areas of Mull.

Amazing cottage

I can not rate this cottage high enough, every thing you need for a relaxing holiday. The best area for getting around Mull. A must for wildlife watching. Richard and his family are so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.
