Castle Cottage is a traditional two-bedroom stone cottage for up to three guests, set at the end of a quiet road at Aros Mains, two miles north of Salen. From the cottage there are views towards the ruins of thirteenth-century Aros Castle, with the shoreline and woodland walks nearby.

Inside, the 73 m² cottage has an open-plan living room and kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and the other a single bed. Central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, together with free WiFi and a Smart TV with Netflix, Prime and Freesat. There is also a Sonos speaker.

The cottage is family-friendly, with a travel cot and highchair available on request. One or two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement for a total fee of £10 per stay.

Guests have private use of the cottage and access to the shared gardens and the area around Aros Castle. Parking is included. Shared EV charging is available in the Apartment car park at cost; please arrange use with us. A car is recommended for exploring Mull.

We provide hand soap and a small starter supply of tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, bin bags, toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and laundry tablets. The coffee maker is a cafetière. A washing machine and indoor and outdoor clothes airers are available. There is no tumble dryer.

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. Minimum stays vary by season; please use the availability calendar for the dates and lengths currently offered.
