Wonderful in a beautiful and very quiet Area

We had a wonderful week in this nicely restored house. It has a spectacular view. Plenty nice spots to sit outside and is located in the middle of nowhere. Just perfect to discover the Balagne. Some very cute villages are just a couple of minutes by car a way. To the beaches it’s about 30min. L’Ile Rousse is a 25min drive and quite nice. We can only recommend and will come back. Thanks to Ignatie and Olivier for being very helpful hosts. Best, Arne

Leider eine unschöne Erfahrung

Das Haus ist sehr schön abseits in den Bergen gelegen. Diese Abgeschiedenheit konnten wir leider nicht genießen. Zum einen gab es ein Hornissen Nest am Haus, was vor unserer Ankunft nicht entfernt wurde. Erst Tage nach mehrmaligen Nachfassen beim Vermieter wurde es entfernt. Zum anderen war das Haus sehr dreckig, der Pool-Bereich abgenutzt und dreckig. Das schlimmste war aber das Ratten in der Küche waren. Die Vermieter verwiesen darauf das dies normal sei auf dem Land. Ob wohl wir stets auf geschlossene Türen geachtet hatten, machten uns die Vermieter für das Problem verantwortlich. Daraufhin haben wir das Haus verlassen. Wir empfehlen dringend von dem Objekt ab.

Un séjour enchanteur

Une merveilleuse pause estivale au cœur de la Balagne. La maison est très bien située, avec une vue idéale et propice à la sérénité. Elle allie le charme d'une maison historique et le confort d'une résidence moderne. Nous qui adorons la Corse et y allons depuis de nombreuses années avons découvert un autre de ses visages. Nous recommandons sans réserve ! Accueil très chaleureux, douceur de vivre et évasion au programme.

Que dire devant tant de beauté et de générosité? Tenter de décrire une propriété hors catégorie dont on aimerait garder l'adresse secrète... Mais ce qu'on apprend profondément de la Corse et des propriétaires des lieux, c'est le sens du partage. La "maison du guet" est au-delà de toute description exhaustive, tout y est, et bien plus. Au-delà de la beauté époustouflante des vues diverses, au-delà de la rénovation juste, fidèle, aimante d'un bijou accroché aux montagnes, ce qui vit et circule c'est la magie ancestrale d'une terre qui embaume les Immortelles, les pins, les oliviers. L'élégance de la maison est saisissante, luxueusement chaleureuse, propice aux grandes tablées riantes comme aux cafés noirs en amoureux... chaque moment a sa terrasse, son petit coin de paradis. Les lectures au bord de la ravissante piscine, les murmures du matin sur la terrasse "marocaine" avec Speluncato commençant à dorer, le tintement du grelot des chèvres sont autant de minutes et d'heures qui deviennent un infini. Ignatie et Olivier, Marie-Rose et Jean-Jacques vous confient les lieux avec confiance et attention. Ils en connaissent l'histoire puisqu'elle est une partie de la leur, ils en connaissent la magie puisqu'il est visible qu'ils en sont empreints, ils en connaissent le moindre milan et le moindre caillou... ils donnent avec coeur toutes les réponses aux questions que vous posez. Surtout n'oubliez pas de jouer à la pétanque même si vous n'y avez jamais joué, la parcelle dévolue à ce jeu est juste un enchantement de couleurs et de gaieté! Parties de rires garanties! Il faut avoir été touché par tant de beauté et de générosité pour risquer de faire savoir qu'un lieu pareil existe... Mille mercis à toutes les âmes de la maison.

Sublime Corsican escape

We joined the small number of Americans who visit Corsica each year -- and we were not disappointed! The house is beautifully and tastefully refurbished and very well appointed. The location is sublime. We especially appreciated the seclusion, the quaint nearby villages and views of mountains and sea from several different terraces. This property is a very special place, and we look forward to our next visit! The proprietor and caretakers were friendly and helpful. The property was so comfortable and beautiful that we had a hard time leaving it to see Corsica's many attractions. The property was completely peaceful and quiet -- undisturbed except for the church bells ringing the hour and the occasional bleat of goats going to and from pasture. We would certainly recommend the property to friends.

Tolles Haus

Wir (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem tollen Haus. Das Haus ist durch die Zimmeraufteilung ideal für befreundete Familien geeignet. Durch die Größe kann man sich auch gut mal zurück ziehen. Die Ausstattung lässt es wirklich an nichts fehlen, es war alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Der nächste Strand ist ca. 30 Autominuten entfernt, ebenso der nächste größere Supermarkt. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man abseits des Touristenrummels Urlaub machen möchte.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views

We had a wonderful week staying in Corsica at this property. The house has been renovated to an extremely high standard. There is plenty of space with all rooms offering quality furnishings and fittings. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything you needed and more! There were plenty of options to enjoy the house; sitting by the pool or relaxing on one of the three outside sitting or dining areas. The views from the house are simply breathtaking. The local village is a short walk away. We even managed to enjoy afternoon walks to some of the other surrounding villages. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay, even to the point of recommending and arranged a restaurant booking for my birthday. An idyllic week.

EXCELLENT SEJOUR

Une ancienne bâtisse rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, dans un cadre et un panorama à couper le souffle. Les propriétaires ont su conserver l’authenticité de l’ancien, tout en ayant un confort optimum. La maison se trouve à flanc de montagne. Nous avons pu faire de belles promenades au départ direct de la maison. Nous avons également pu profiter de balades au bord de mer. La situation géographique est un peu en retrait de l’Île Rousse (20 mn maxi) mais loin du flot des touristes, ce qui l’été doit être un véritable atout. Comme nous y étions en décembre, nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la piscine qui est grande et dont le panorama réserve certainement de très bons moments pendant les périodes plus chaudes. En revanche nous avons pu tester le chauffage au sol très efficace, ce qui rend la maison d’autant plus chaleureuse et agréable. La maison est bien équipée, tout l’électroménager est neuf. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de chaleur. Nous avons tous apprécié, jeunes et moins jeunes. Nous étions 8, dont 4 adultes et 4 enfants. Vrai coup de cœur pour cette maison dans laquelle on se sent bien, que je recommande vraiment pour tous à part peut-être pour les enfants en cours d’apprentissage de la marche.

UNE VUE A COUPER LE SOUFLE AU COEUR DE LA NATURE

La maison est restaurée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Elle est la plus haute du hameau, et nous avons profité d'une vue EXTRA-ORDINAIRE à 360°. D'où que l'on regarde, la nature est omniprésente. La piscine n'était pas encore en service, mais le terrain fut un merveilleux espace de jeux et d'aventures pour nos ados.
