Imagine having your own beautiful weekender, just 90 minutes from Sydney, with absolute water frontage, and a private jetty! Sunshine Cottage offers spectacular 180 degree lake views, a fully equiped kitchen and bathroom, 3 comfortable bedrooms, laundry and a large veranda on which to relax and enjoy alfresco dining or an afternoon nap.

Sunshine at Lake Macquarie will give you the weekender life style you've been looking for. With Australia's largest coastal saltwater lake as your backyard, you will have ample opportunity to enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, sail boarding, and water-skiing.
There is an excellent boat ramp just 300m down the end of the street. Most guests then keep their boat tied up off the jetty for the duration of their stay. There is a huge front yard with plenty of space to keep the trailer.

Just 45 minutes from the renowned Hunter Valley Wine District, and a short drive to the beautiful bush walking trails of the Watagan Mountains, Sunshine at Lake Macquarie is the ideal place to de-stress and live like the locals.

Wake to the sound of lapping water, spectacular sunrises and superb views of Pulbah Island, and Pt. Wolstonecraft. Whether you enjoy boating, painting or photography, the gentle ambience of Sunshine at Lake Macquarie will let you enjoy a pleasant sea change.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

NO linen or towels are provided. Blankets, pillows, and donnas are supplied, however guests must bring their own linen, towels, tea towels, etc.
There are 2 queen size beds, and 3 single beds.

There is NO air-conditioning in the property, however there are fans in each bedroom and also in the lounge room. Large fan heaters will keep the cottage nice and warm during the cooler months!

There is NO Wifi at the property. Please use your phones mobile data to hotspot to the smart TV if you want to avail yourself of those features.

NO pets allowed.

The cottage can accommodate up to a maximum of five adults and seven guests in total. Under no circumstances can this number be exceeded.

The house is located in a quiet residential area and as such is NOT suitable for parties and loud noise. All noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm

There are two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, which open straight onto the veranda, with stunning views! The third bedroom has a single bed, and two bunk beds (with full size mattresses). This is a smaller room more suitable for children, and as such we limit the total number of adults to five.
The cottage has a quality bathroom, with a full size bath and separate shower, and an internal laundry, with a second toilet.

Check-in time is 2pm, and check-out is by 10am. Late checkout may be available subject to other bookings.

Location

Sunshine Cottage is located on the Morisset peninsular,on the western side of Lake Macquarie, just 90 minutes drive from Sydney.
It enjoys a perfect North Easterly aspect, capturing Winter sunshine all day long, and in the Summer time, the covered veranda provides the perfect haven to enjoy the lake!
