Nice house in a good location - 5 mins drive to shops and cafe, beach is just 5 mins walk away. There are plenty of living space (both indoor and outdoor) for the 7 of us.We felt that the rooms were a bit cold when we checked in as there're no air-conditioning nor heating in the rooms but then the reverse cycle aircond in the living area did a good job to warm up the whole house.Easy communication with Daryl and thank you for the welcome prosecco and chocolate!

Weekend getaway

Fantastic location. Such as easy walk to the beach, to enjoy the sunshine. The home was light, bright and cosy. Had a beautiful atmosphere, inside meeting outside entertaining area with large sliding doors. All beds were super comfortable. Everyone impressed with 3 bathrooms well appointed kitchen with quality kitchenware. We would definitely book again!

Fantastic spot

Fantastic spot close to the beach easy walk into the village. House was perfect for our family holiday and host Daryl was very easy to deal with. Thanks again for sharing your house and will certainly return next time we are looking to head down the Mornington Peninsula.

Perfect beachside getaway!

We had a fantastic beachside weekend away with family at Daintree @ Rye. The house was perfectly located, making it so easy to stroll down to the beach and then come back to relax even more. The property was exactly as described—and more!We especially loved sitting out on the patio, enjoying the sea breeze and the peaceful surroundings. Daryl was the perfect host, providing helpful information even before we arrived, making the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway!

Very spacious, bright and super clean. Everything you could want and so close to the beach. Very short walk to the beach, walk to Blairgowrie shops and restaurants. Great base for day trips. Friendly owners. We were so happy with our holiday.

Fantastic property close to the beach

7 members of our family stayed at the 'Daintree' property for a couple of nights. The property was beautifully maintained. There was ample space for us all, and it was a short walk to the beach. The owner left us a lovely welcome card and bottle of lemoncello and chocolates in the fridge on arrival. I would highly recommend this property. Hosts were lovely, friendly and easy to deal with.

Great Getaway

What a lovely place with plenty of space for the whole family and more. The recently renovated house has everything you could need to an enjoyable holiday. A great location and such a short walk to the beach makes for not needing to fight for a parking spot on the foreshore. An enjoyable visit and holiday was had.

Overall the property was clean and comfortable other than some rubbish in a bedroom the cleaner hadn't removed!! A hairdryer would have been handy, normally a prerequisite in holiday rentals nowadays! Plus a larger bin and bin bags in kitchen, with 8 adults staying, we were continually emptying the bin which was only a small kitchen scrap recycle bin.But big thank you for the wine and chocolates, everyone was very happy with the treats

Excellent accommodation and Host!!

From the start to the end, our experience was excellent! The accommodation was event better then we expected. It has a modern and relaxed feel, and was very spacious and comfortable for our needs. Our host Daryl was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating and supportive. We knew the location would be great and we benefited by taking walks close by to the beach and to town. We highly recommend this accommodation and would love to book it again.

Comfortable, light modern home with easy beach access

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rye. The house was fully equipped, great kitchen, modern and comfortable. Very close to the bay beach. In between two sets of shops, a good walk or a short drive. The host was an excellent communicator and very helpfu. Wonderful family home

Girls getaway

A wonderful space to share the weekend with a group of people, had everything that we needed and plenty of room to mull around. So close to the beach with shops a lovely 2-3km on either side. The group of Mums had a fabulous time. Hosts are brilliant and place perfectly clean. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy such a lovely home.

Excellent property

Lovely light filled house with plenty of space, great outdoor area, easy walk to the beach at end of road. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, very quiet location, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Daryl was great with communication and some tips on things to do and see, welcoming chocolates a nice extra. Two ensuite bathrooms a bonus. Enough room in the driveway to back our boat in off the street, would definitely stay here again.
