We had a wonderful time here! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach with the kids. The house was a great size for two small families and a couple, we would definitely stay here again!
A great property in a quiet location and easy walk to the beach. The home was clean and spacious with a large lounge and cosy fire. Having a second bathroom was very handy for a family of five. It also has a lovely outdoor area, garden and plenty of off street parking.

Host interaction was good. Close to beach & lovely comfortable beds & linen. Oven didn’t work & half empty bottles of hand soap in bathrooms. Also not having a proper fence between you and the neighbors house was weird. I wouldn’t say value for money but it was a comfortable stay.

I'm sorry, Kelly, that you were unable to start the oven. I actually can't find anything wrong with it; have just cooked a roast in the oven myself. ( There is a manual in the kitchen with all required instructions for using oven and cooktop.)
I will certainly ensure our cleaner puts out fresh and full soap containers in the future.
We really loved staying here - terrific location and lots of room. Only drawbacks were the lack of wifi and a slightly dodgy bbq. When we accidentally left the keys in the door (on the inside) when we left, the host was very gracious about it. (Phew!)

So glad you loved your stay, Susie. Thanks too for the feed back. We have heeded your suggestions. Have just installed WIFI and a new Weber barbecue.
Compact living, spacious bedrooms, two toilet/shower, shady outdoor decking area, well cared for garden/lawn area, ideal location with short walk to beach via pedestrian crossing of Point Nepean Rd.
A warm home that accommodated two families well. A quick stroll to Tyrone Beach was perfect with the kids. The owner was very quick to answer any queries we had and was very accomodating of our needs. Would most definitely return.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, Sharmona. You are most welcome to return.
The host was well organised and very generous on our arrival allowing us to check in early as there was no booking before us.
The property is clean and tidy and had everything we needed.
An easy walk to the beach, but if you’re taking chairs and umbrellas it might be getting on the long side. Plenty of parking at the boat ramp area though, which we used a couple of times.
It’s a decent walk to Blairgowrie shops but well rewarded with good coffee or aperitif when you get there
The house worked really well for 2 families. Eating outside every night on the beautiful deck was fantastic and Tyrone beach was just down the hill and lovely. Great location and with everything you could need. Recommended. Thanks Joy.
Our host was most helpful and welcoming in all aspects of our booking and stay. This is a very well appointed family home with a lovey outside deck and private garden areas. The kitchen and BBQ are set up with everything needed to entertain a family group and visitors A short walk up the quiet street takes you to the front beach and picturesque bathing boxes, or take a more adventurous walk to the magnificent back beach and views. Bird life and a nice garden makes this stay so pleasant - thank you.
Much needed post-lockdown girls weekend was had at this property. A lovely home with plenty of sleeping space, great kitchen and the living room was heaven to relax in. Just a short stroll from a quiet bay beach, this was an absolute gem.
very comfortable property. Lots of extras in the kitchen.
Enjoyed the fire and TV. The weather was mostly bad ( winter ) so stayed in more than we usually would have. Short walk to a beach. Loved the surrounding area, lots of tee trees and great areas to walk locally. Big enough for two families.
Joy was a great contact and quick to respond to questions.
Joy was great to work with and very informative. The place had everything we need and in a perfect location! The house was spotless and very comfortable!
We enjoyed our stay. The weather wasnt good but the fire was a lively touch on a cold weekend.
Walk to beach probably not suitable with small children a bit far.
The group had a great time at this well appointed accommodation. The house had everything everyone needed, close to everything. Joy was very easy to communicate with. The group had a great relaxing weekend!
Well equipped property with everything we needed, all in good working order. The living room chairs were very comfortable but the only downside was that we all thought the beds were a bit firm. A very enjoyable recommended 4 nights break over the Christmas holiday.

Glad to hear you enjoyed celebrating Christmas at Hardy Retreat, Richard and Susan.
The house was clean and had all the ammenities as advertised. It was a short walk to the beach but the big comfy lounge in front of the fire was where we spent most of our weekend away. It was a pleasure communicating with Joy. We can’t wait to stay at Hardy’s Retreat again soon.
