Beautiful Lakeside Cottage
This little property is such a great place to stay. Loved it; so quiet. Right on the water with kangaroos, rabbits and birds all around the property. Highly recommended.
Another wonderful stay at the Lakehouse
We've been holidaying at the Lakehouse for around seven years now and have never been disappointed with its cleanliness, its beautiful surrounding environment and all those little touches inside and out that helped make our stays feel so welcome and comfortable. We are very much looking forward to our next holiday there. Thank you once again Karen.
Bliss and Contentment at the Lakehouse!
We have been very fortunate to have stayed at The Lakehouse twice now. Both times in June, as in Winter. The Lakehouse is so cozy and comfortable. There is a great heating system that keeps the cabin warm when needed. But we always get to experience so many lovely a winter sunny days, that we hardly ised the heater due to the warm sun streaming through the massive windows that look right out on the Lake with its jumping Brim, ducks and black swans. The owners stock the Lakehouse with ever ammentie you need to never have to leave the Lakehouse during your stay (just bring your food). We loved the "Bowlo" (Lake Conjola Bowling Club) for meals too, as well as the little store just down the road for wine and other items you might have run out of, and the Lake Conjola Post Office a lottle bit further down the road for the best panko flathead and chip takeaway ever and the ability to rent kayaks, paddle boards and small boats. The Lakehouse is just lovely. The owners are wonderful to deal with and you could not find a prettier location to spend some time unwinding and relaxing. Can't forget the super cute locals (kangaroos and parakeets), that are very gentle and only to happy to relieve you of any unwanted bread (for the Roos and sunflower seeds that you can purchase at the local store, for the birds! Can't wait to go back!!!
A beautiful coastal waterway, Lake Conjola is perfect for aquatic adventures. Enjoy a range of water sports, including fishing, kayaking, waterskiing and wakeboarding. Cyclists will be thrilled with the exhilarating trails weaving through Conjola National Park on the northern side of this deep lake.
Surfers will be impressed with long rides at Green Island, at the mouth of the lake and just below Cunjurong Point. On the southern side of the lake is the village named after the sparkling waterway. Boats, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for hire from Lake Conjola Post Office Store.
