DESCRIPTION:

This is an individual apartment, tucked into the quieter back corner of a small apartment complex. It combines the beauty of a magnificent older-style front-entry staircase with pencil pines dotting the front line of gardens.

Perfect for four, your stylishly refurbished apartment has two-bedrooms: with a king bed and (splittable) queen bed. There's also a foldaway bed, a cot and high chair available for a small fee. Please bring linen for the cot.

Your Melbourne corporate apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen and towels, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities with separate washing machine and dryer, and an iron and ironing board. Opening windows allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it. All main windows, including the bedrooms are double glazed with thick, outer glass for added security and comfortable temperature control and quiet nights all year round.

Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating are provided in the living area and in each bedroom. The dining table has four comfortable chairs with two spares if you decide to have six for dinner. All modern kitchen appliances are fitted here; including coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas cooktop and range hood. All the essential utensils are provided.

I was really surprised how quiet this apartment is. Being at the back of the complex, and having double-glazing and plenty of trees around it seems to insulate it very well. The other plus (apart from proximity to everything you could possibly need), is the trams out the front. They run every 6 minutes in busy times and youre in town before you can blink. Who needs a car?).

The address is 6 Sydney Road, Brunswick. It has a Walk Score of 92 out of 100. This location is a Walkers Paradise so daily errands do not require a car. It is only a one minute walk from the 19 North Coburg - Flinders Street Station (City) tram at the 19-Brunswick Rd/Sydney Rd (Brunswick) stop. Nearby parks include Royal Park, Princes Park and Hardy Gallagher Reserve.

The Vibe Hotel and Princes Park Motor Inn, also known as the Best Western, used to be located nearby, but are no longer operating. Brunswick Vibe is now the only four-star, self-contained apartment in the area, that has a 125% Satisfaction Guarantee.*

Brunswick Vibe is located right between Brunswick Parkville, close to Princes Park, Royal Park, Carlton, Lygon St the Airport, and is only 4kms or 10 mins from CBD. There is a lively music scene as well. For more great restaurants and cafes visit Lygon Street in East Brunswick, only a short stroll away. Getting There

From the airport exit from Citylink at the Brunswick Road exit ramp and turn left. From the city, going up Royal Parade, turn right into Park St, and take left hand turns until you are back on Sydney Road; just past the 7 Eleven. Full directions will be supplied on your booking confirmation, once we are in contact by email.

Getting Around

Trams are just out the front, run every 6 minutes, and only take 10 mins to reach the CBD. Or you can travel north to Coburg and Preston. You can also walk to shops, cafes, restaurants etc in Sydney Road nearby, and some great restaurants nearby in Lygon St. You don't need a car. Also, if you only travel on the trams within the city grid, it's free, and you don't need a Myki card.



Guest Interaction

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site from our greeters, once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We always check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day.

Check in

On check in, the owner of the credit card must be present, and will be asked to:

provide the credit card used for the booking (and the security bond if different)

provide the matching photo ID

sign a registration form confirming the receipt of remotes, keys and parking permits and your acceptance of StayCentral Terms Conditions; including the authorisation for StayCentral to use the security deposit held by us as payment for any expenses as described in the above Terms.

Pet stays

NB: Many of our properties, including this one, are pet-friendly, but only with approval, and as long as they are quiet, and do not damage or climb on the furnishings! The minimum pet stay fee is $150 and daily fees vary from $20 down to $5 for longer stays

Perfect home away from home

Perfect position- handy to transport, shops, restaurants and a number of parks for walking our dog. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Has everything you need. We’d definitely book here again- wanted to stay longer.

The location was excellent & beds comfortable. Cleanliness was average, I had to wipe out the bedside drawers before I put clothes in. The apartment was very dark & gloomy & depressing. The saving grace was the location & the park nearby.

The property was nice the location was great for access to public transport. We found it almost impossible to park our car in the supplied area. A Neighbour was kind enough to swap his parking space with us. We di notice a smell in the rug in the lounge room that smelt like dog urine. It should be cleaned professionally to remove it. We could notice it every time we entered the room, but it would become less noticeable the long you remained in the building. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Convenient Location and Comfortable beds

In general this is a nice apartment but without front screen door or fly screens it lacks fresh air and air flow but does have air conditioners. The kitchen cupboards need to be emptied out, everything cleaned properly, decluttered and packed away neatly. Noisy bathroom exhaust fan that is sensor activated by movement in hallway is annoying when trying to sleep. Great park down the road for exercise or running your dog. Barkly Square just a short walk away.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We have never had anyone ask about fly screens on the windows and doors but I will look into this, as other people may like to have these as well. I'm glad you enjoyed the aircon in every room though, as you had temperatures up to 32 degrees during your stay, and it would have been very hot and stuffy with the windows open. Hopefully we will have fly screens on enough of the windows to allow fresh air to flow through the apartment, for those who prefer this to the aircon. It looks like the cleaners have missed going through the cupboards and drawers properly. I'm sorry about that. They normally do a great job. This will certainly be discussed with them. I wish you had told me about this when you noticed it. I would have sent them over straight away to fix this. You are right about the sensor in the bathroom. We actually had the electrician organised to come over on the morning of your arrival to replace the unit with a more sophisticated, narrow beam unit to solve this problem, but they were held up at the last minute. The simple solution in the meantime has been to simply close the bathroom door to stop the sensor activating when you walk past. This new unit will definitely be installed this week. I'm sorry we couldn't get it in there before you arrived. Princes Park and Royal Park are certainly very close and massive. I'm glad you got to enjoy at least one of them whilst you were there. Likewise, the apartment is so close to the shopping centre, cafes, restaurants and the trams. Everything you could need is certainly just a short walk away. Please check with us the next time you want to stay in Melbourne, as we have multiple apartments all around inner Melbourne. We may have fly screens on this apartment shortly, but you may prefer to try one of our other apartments in a different location. I look forward to assisting you on your next visit.

This is just one on many locations we have around inner Melbourne, but you are right; it has everything you could need, and is very comfortable. The apartment is certainly in a great location; so close to the shopping centre, cafes, restaurants and the trams. Everything you could need is certainly just a short walk away. The regular, fast trams just out the front are also brilliant for getting into the city at a minute's notice.

Great location and great property

We really enjoyed the convenience of being in Brunswick, close proximity to fabulous Sydney rd and Lygon st - food heaven. Did not use the car as property is really convenient to trams but quiet. Property has everything one could want (home away from home) - will definitely stay here in the future.
