Living room features a 55" LCD TV and DVD Blu-ray player, gas fireplace, leather couch that has a pull-out sleeper for extra sleeping space. Dining room has a pub-height table, and 3 bar stools for counter service.
Kitchen is well-appointed and has stainless appliances and granite countertops. Fridge with ice and water dispenser. Well-stocked cooking utensils, garbage disposal, and dishwasher make cooking a breeze.
1st Floor end-unit location gets lots of light and has large wrap-around patio. Comfortable patio furniture (love seat and 2 chairs) + bistro table and 4 chairs will allow for outdoor living and enjoyment of the downtown scene. Live music is present on most weekends from the Dog Haus Brewery (Der Hinterhof) located directly across the street. Like people watching? We have some of the greatest in town!
Cleaning fee will be added to all rentals and tax rate.
Unit is located across the street from the Leavenworth Outdoor Center (Tubing trips for the river) and the Dog Haus Brewery. Great location. However with that great location, also comes the sounds and noise of a vibrant scene. And the Brewery does have live music up until 10PM on most weekends - which can sometimes be loud. Listening to the live music while sipping wine on the patio has been fun (for us).
Unit is located on ground floor adjacent to 9th Ave and a small alley. Some vehicle traffic can be heard from time to time including: garbage trucks, delivery trucks and snow plows in the winter time that access the alley - usually earlier in the morning. We mention this as some guests may not be used to staying so close to downtown Leavenworth and all of the wonderful activities that come with the location. And with the close location of staying in-town also yields more noise of the daily tasks of the city.
Weekdays tend to be much quieter (and less crowded) if you are looking for a more laid back experience.
** CONSTRUCTION NOTE/UPDATE ** - July 2018
- The owners of the building have been alerted that a new housing/condo project is underway directly behind our building - in the lot adjacent to the condo driveway. The construction process may yield typical noise from the building process. While this is happening behind the building, furthest away from the living space, some noises may be heard during business hours - and may start as early as 7AM. This will affect all surrounding units in our building and other buildings within the local area. The driveway/access road to our garage should remain open and unblocked. Please message us if any questions or issues relating to this update.
Parking: We are often asked if our unit can accommodate two cars in the garage. Unfortunately, the answer is no. Each unit in the building is assigned a single parking spot that can accommodate one car only. If you are traveling with a second car, you can find street parking outside/around town. Or, use the convenient "Pay to Park" lot directly across the street behind the Dog Haus Brewery/Adventure Inn.

**A rental agreement will be provided to you for your stay. We require the names and contact information for all guests in the unit. Primary renter will need to agree to house rules, and DocuSign the agreement prior to receiving access instructions. We ask for this information in the event that we need to make contact with you during your stay, or, in the case of emergency for local responders (i.e. natural disaster, etc.).
