Chill house

Comfortable house and the beaches are amazing- unspoilt and clear white sand ! Hosts were great, really easy to deal with and provided a heap of info on where to go around the area.

Sunrise & Sunset - all from one balcony

What a wonderful house this is!! I loved how you could view sunrise & sunset from the same balcony. The view on both bays were just magical. The house offered everything we needed and more!

Do yourself a favour!

Our young family had an enjoyable stay at Double Bay Views. There was plenty of activities such as fishing, body boarding and bike riding for the kids. The house is well appointed with panoramic views of Port Moorowie and the coastline towards Troubridge Hill.

Port Moo

Gavin was good to deal with. He checked in with us and made sure that everything was okay. He also left us with maps and recommendations on places to visit. Was just unfortunate that mother nature had other ideas during our stay.

Absolutely beautiful Location :)

My partner and i live busy lives and with our son just starting school. We set out to find a peaceful location that still had lots to do with great fishing. This beautiful home gave us all that and more for the time we had it. The hosts are great and the house has a lovely family feel that can only come from great people.Also the games room is Awesome if your a pool lover like myself and the DVD selection is the best i have ever come across when staying somewhere :)We will definitely be rebooking a future stay.

Nice time in a quiet fishing settlement

A well set up place in a secluded part of YP. Great for quality time without the distractions. Some lovely nearby locations and Gavin very helpful in adding advice on what to do.

Fabulous weekend!

Perfect getaway to start 2022

Tgis beach shavk is a stomes throw from some gorgeous beach destinstions with water views for miles. The pool room was a big hit with the family and the kitchen is well eqipped with crockery and utensils that tou may require to cook your meals. Gavin was a perfect host and a wealth of knowledge on the local area and what to see and do when visiting YP. Port moorowie is quiet, clean and a perfect restful destination. I highly recommend this place to other families!

Fantastic beachside property in quiet location.

Plenty to do. Walk on the beach, swim, snorkel, paddle, fish, surf close by or just sit on the balcony / deck area with a beer / wine and enjoy the awesome view. Loved our 4 days there. Should've booked a week.

Fantastic Holiday Home!!

We had our families come stay with us at different days and times, tv has been updated which kids can plug in their PS4 when we were home in the evenings. The house provided has all amenities you would need, two toilets, pool table with accessories, stereos upstairs an downstairs, the only small negative was that the oven was not cleaned. We did some amazing site seeing down at Innes. Quickest way there and back was the dirt roads. Thank you so much for an awesome stay! highly recommend this property to anyone interested in getting away. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Gavin to you and your family! Cheers Ivan & Noeleen

Very Relaxing

While the weather limited how much we could enjoy Port Moorowie, staying at Double Bay view meant that we still had a great time. The open kitchen space with ocean views was very relaxing to be in. And downstairs offered a great retreat for those wanting to play pool or slip away quietly to read a book. Hope to come back again.

New Years Beach Getaway

We stayed in this house over the 20/21 New Year period for 6 nights. The house is in a great location with sweeping views across the whole of Port Moorowie. There was plenty of room for 2 families with comfy beds for all. The kitchen is well equipped with most of the appliances you would have at home and a big fridge/freezer that easily held food for 8 people for 6 nights. I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to book again, in fact I’m planning on it!

Great views, clean and very well equipped house

We stayed here for a short holiday and absolutely loved the house. The deck covers 3 sides of the house to give good views in all directions, while inside the house was neat, tidy and equipped with everything we needed. The owner was very friendly and more than willing to give advice on where to fish and things to see. He was also extremely helpful and went to the extra effort to make sure we had everything we needed. Would certainly recommend the property and the owner to anyone thinking of staying in the south of the Yorke Peninsular.

great holiday stay

stayed here over Easter with another family of 4. Very comfortable for two families with plenty of room for the kids. Close to the beach and plenty of good walking trails. Highly recommended.
