A short stroll to the South is a well-stocked general store and a short walk in the opposite direction you're at the jetty. Adjacent is the Tavern-on-Turton restaurant, lounge bar and bottle shop. But you are no doubt holidaying at Turton for the water and beach activities. You won't be disappointed; the old swimming centre is just a 4-minute drive and is still a great place to relax on the beach with family. Then there's the boating, wind surfing, kayaking, fishing for King George Whiting, craying at Corney, and you haven't fished unless you've dabbed for Gar in the bay at night. Or just relax with a drink on the deck and see if you can spot a dolphin in the channel.
