A home away from home
2 families of 4 spent the Easter long weekend at Waratah Hills Homestead. Fabulous home which has been set up so that you feel right at home. Excellent facilities in the kitchen, indoor and outdoor entertaining topped off by a stunning view. Beyond the home, the location is perfect for trips to Wilson’s Prom, the beach, wineries and more. Highly recommend!

Stunning holiday house
Waratah Hills Homestead is just beautiful with gorgeous views across the inlet to the mountains of the Prom. It was perfect for our two families to share - with room for everyone to relax and come together for big meals prepared in the well equipped kitchen. We hope to return!

A beautiful house with stunning views
The house is beautiful and unusual with slate floors , a huge skylight , and stained glass used prolifically . . The living space was huge with two seating areas and a large dining table . The views over the Prom were spectacular , with outside seating on both sides of the house . There was an outside glass dining table which was a lovely spot for casual eating . Very efficient umbrellas were provided for shade . Kate was very prompt in replying to any queries and had left us Christmas decorations and flowers which was a lovely and welcome touch . Waratah Bay and Sandy Point were both close and provided lovely beach walks and swimming for kids . We would love to return .

Family loved weekend at Waratah Hills Homestead
The property provided what we were looking for in our family gathering, something more than your every day house with plenty of space and furniture to suit our group, with enough "wow" factor to impress the guests. Well maintained, the ample supply of books and children's toys were a bonus. Close proximity to the Prom made for easy access for a day trip and for the dinner at the Fish Creek hotel was an enjoyable night out. However, the accommodations well appointed kitchen also allowed for a dinner in with the family. Definitely recommend the property to others. Owners provided accurate advice as to accessing the property and we had no reason to use the contact details provided.

An amazing place for a family holiday
We arrived at Waratah Hills Homestead with our 3 children aged 15,12 and 9 and what a view!! The house and property are beautiful. Everything is very well maintained and in working order - great kitchen to cook in, games inside and out for the children. The best trampoline ever (according to my 9 year old). Modern furniture and super comfy beds. We had the most relaxing restful week. Sitting outside on the deck enjoying the sun. When the temperature dropped a bit at night, we loved lighting the fire (plenty of wood chopped and ready to go) and relaxing with a movie. The location of the house is excellent. A short drive to fish creek which does a great pub meal. Close enough to the prom for a day trip, but you feel like you are a world away from the busyness of everyday life. Kate was excellent to deal with responding promptly and with lots of info about the local area. We will definitely be back!
