Chaitalay - Broulee Creek Tranquility

Ubicado en la hermosa cala Candlagan, a solo 200 metros de la laguna Broulee o del surf en la playa North Broulee. Relájese en la amplia terraza en hermosos alrededores de arbustos: este entorno privado se ve sobre Candlagan Creek. A los niños les encantará explorar los manglares y el arroyo tranquilo. Hay excelentes olas en North y South Broulee beach y la encantadora Muffin Shop en Mossy Point es un destino fácil para pasear por el promontorio. La casa es ideal para familias con escaleras arriba y abajo que ofrecen mucho espacio para relajarse y descansar. El área de abajo tiene un televisor, baño y 2 dormitorios, además de una sala de estar para niños.

Esta casa ha sido disfrutada por una sola familia durante más de 40 años. Actualizado y recién pintado, cuenta con todas las comodidades modernas en un hermoso y tranquilo entorno privado a solo unos minutos de la playa. Relájese en la espaciosa terraza o retírese a la sala de estar independiente en la planta baja. (¡o envía a los niños allá abajo!) Esta es una casa de vacaciones familiar perfecta y lo suficientemente grande como para que quepan 2 familias sin pisar los otros dedos de los pies.

Disfrute de las playas de surf o de las tranquilas aguas de la laguna, a solo unos minutos a pie. Lleve los kayaks al arroyo y explore los tranquilos manglares y aves en Candlagan Creek o simplemente relájese en la terraza y disfrute del entorno privado de los arbustos.

Su perro de la familia es bienvenido siempre y cuando no sea un ladrón y esté feliz de quedarse afuera.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely stay in Broulee. This house had everything we needed, and was easy walking access to the beach and local shops/cafes.

Perfect house for a great family holiday

Perfect for large groups, with two levels, large common rooms and deck, two bathrooms and two well-equipped kitchens. We were able to jump in the kayaks and paddle along our backyard river. Walking distance to a surf beach, close to great snorkeling.

Brilliant home, close to the beach

Incredibly well appointed home close to the beach with plenty of character and everything you need to have a fabulous holiday, including a great backyard and magnificent deck with BBQ. Sarah was great to communicate with and we will surely endeavour to stay again!

Great beach house

The layout of this house was great for the older teenagers. They were downstairs and it stayed lovely and cool on the hot days. The beds were comfortable. Don’t forget to pack your own sheets and towels as I nearly did!

Great family holiday location

Great house with reasonable privacy, clean and set up pretty well. Loved the wood slow combustion for winter heating. Would be a good idea for winter holiday let’s to provide some warm blankets as the doonas were very light weight so it was pretty cold. A few more kitchen pots and pans would be helpful as well. Otherwise the family and our dog enjoyed our stay at beautiful Broulee.

Broulee Beach Holiday

We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday with friends at Chaitalay Broulee. The house was very well set up and clean and a kitchen well stocked for keen cooks! Beaches were a short stroll down the road and 3 local cafes ( open at various times) met all our Melbourne Coffee addictions! After hectic beach days we enjoyed meals on the back porch surrounded by magnificent trees and wildlife and then moved into a comfortable lounge area to read and catchup on TV. This would be a great house for 2 families with fully set up upstairs and downstairs areas. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, relaxing home on the mangroves

The home was lovely - ample space for everyone with two living areas, fantastic deck, well equipped and spacious kitchen, and plenty of beds so teenagers could spread. The back deck had a beautiful view of the creek and mangroves, but far enough away not to be bothered by insects. My fishing son had lots of room to set up and look after his gear outside. I didn't want to leave! Host was lovely and very accommodating. Will definitely be going back.

Beauty by the river

A lovely, well appointed, family home with plenty to do. Very close to the beach with a creek to paddle around on is at the bottom of the garden. We really enjoyed our second stay at Sarah's property.

Awesome place to stay

This house is really well set up for two families if needed. Location can’t get any better, and the host was responsive and flexible, allowing early checkin, no worries.

Perfect family house

We had 2 families and the design was perfect, with kids downstairs and adults upstairs. This house has everything you’d need. We loved how big it was, walked to the beach, the kayaks in the creek out the back, board games, great bbq. Definitely would visit again.

Great location

Great house with plenty of room for my husband and I and our 3 adult children and dog.Right on the river with access to 2 kayaks and walking distance to Mossy Cafe. Great deck out the back with plenty of privacy.

Lovely

We enjoyed our stay. The house had everything that we needed in it and Sarah was great to deal with. The house is also very well located and the beds are comfortable. Be warned that there are a ton of mosquitoes though, may have been due to recent rain though, but they were a real pain so bring lots of spray etc.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean home in a great location.

Karibu, spacious enough for two families, ideal for three generations, I cannot praise this property highly enough. Comfortable and well equipped, the generous and friendly owners have thought of everything including kayaks which the kids loved on nearby Candlagan Creek. Lots of games, books, comfortable beds, outdoor living and great facilities. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Sarah!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Chaitalay. Location was fantastic-walking distance to the beach, lagoon and local cafe. Ideal for a large group-our older children found the downstairs area a nice retreat while the upstairs area was more than adequate to fit all 10 of us as well. Owners were also great to deal.

Perfect spot for our winter beach holiday!!

Rented Chaitalay for a few nights for a family reunion and it was perfect, right on Candlagan Creek so we could throw the kayak straight into the water out of the backyard and only a couple of hundred metres stroll up to the main Broulee Beach so kept both adults and kids easily entertained...... the house was great, spotlessly clean, w plenty of room for big families, separate bathrooms up and downstairs and lots of bedrooms. Big kitchen, big deck, very quiet and peaceful. IGA only 5mins away for restocking the food and wine so a 5* weekend had by all, thanks so much!!! We'll be back!!!

Great hose and fantastic location

We had a great time in the house, plenty of rooms for many teenagers and space for quiet reading. Creek at rear of garden and kayaks were well used. Great location, can walk to the beach and the local coffee shop

I live in Wollongong and have been coming to Broulee since I was born so it’s a very special place for us. My mother’s family all lived locally and her Dad owned a couple of the original Mossy Point shacks on the lagoon. I love the clear South Coast water, hidden coves and amazing forests. One of my favourite things to do in Broulee is to jump into the creek near the bridge at high tide and float back up to the house. Just be careful of the oysters!

Broulee has morphed from a sleepy sparsely populated coastal village into a vibrant residential and holiday location. We have access to some of the most pristine beaches as well as incredible bush walks and national parks close by. The addition of the Mogo bike trails and local breweries and distilleries makes it a perfect location for anyone seeking a bit of adventure. There’s also plenty of shopping, cafes, distilleries and breweries to enjoy some downtime and catching up with friends and family.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

My parents bought the land in 1973 and build the initial kit home in 1976. It was a typical Broulee beach house at the time and we enjoyed many family holidays over the years. The house had had a couple of renovations over the years - most recently we rebuilt the deck and added a bit more space to enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
