The Roaring Fork River is a short walk away and local bike paths close by. Riverdale is located in a quiet place to relax and close to all Glenwood Springs has to offer. For those who love to cook, we have more than salt n pepper for your spices, a waffle iron, a blender, toaster and a crock pot. Enjoy wifi and a large screen smart tv (Netflix provided but not cable, login to your favorite apps) from an open living room, kitchen and dining room area. Perfect for 4 people. A well behaved pet is welcomed to enjoy the fully enclosed yard, a water bowl and 2 pet beds of their own. Please no smoking in or outside, this is due to past abuse of non smoking policy.

The location was convenient to all attractions. The couch and bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was amazing with well stocked cooking utensil's, pots, pans, spices. A nice washer and dryer in the basement was very convenient. Would rent again for sure.

Great Pet-Friendly Location

Stayed with our family and 2 dogs. It was a perfect location for the pups with a large, fenced yard and dog-friendly amenities like beds and towels. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Cozy and convenient cottage

We greatly enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean and in good condition, and the fenced yard was so nice to have for our 2 dogs who travelled with us. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. This was the perfect home away from home for us while we visited Glenwood Springs and we would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Charming Cottage

This was a charming house off the beaten path in Glenwood. Nicely appointed, great beds and lovely details. Clean and pet friendly - Pam even provided dog bowls! Our kind of place!!

It was o.k., wasn't it to be right next to trail park & be smelling marijuanna every night. There was no shower soap in the bathroom upon arrival so my husband & I had to go out 7 buy soap for the shower. Both bathrm & kitchen sink had this very low cost soap to both wash our hands & dishes. I wouldn't recommend nor stay here again.

Awesome little place

Very pet friendly place. Our dogs loved the beautiful fenced in yard. 4 adults were very comfortable in this lovely 2 bedroom home. Very close to Carbondale where we attended a wedding. Would stay again.

Super nice and comfortable

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. The house is very comfortable, nicely remodeled and has everything you might need for a great relaxing time. The location is super quiet, away from busy streets and turist areas, but still only a few minutes away from restaurants, pool and attractions. Perfect for kids, dogs and families. We would love to come back next year.

Great Stay

Being dog friendly is an understatement. The full fenced yard, provided dog beds and dog theme was what we needed for our dogs. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and main living. The location was great, very quiet and easy to access. The washer/dryer was a PLUS after a day at the hot springs. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

A perfect little gem!

From start to finish, this was a perfect spot... conveniently located, spotless and comfy, easy to communicate with owner, and solid WiFi. It also delivered on many lovely features found in high end places (excellent towels, bath soap and shampoo dispensers, neat and trim yard with nice patio furniture, and paper products like you use at home). We will absolutely be back!

Great house

This place was very cute. 2 bedrooms as described. large fenced yard. Kitchen, dining area and living room was open. For our family (2 adults, 2 children, dog) it was a great place for us to relax after skiing at Aspen (about 50 min drive).

Best VRBO we have stayed at.

This was a great VRBO. Very clean and when it states that it is dog friendly they really mean that. We didn't bring our dog but once we got to the place we realized she would have been fine. Location is perfect, far enough from the business of downtown but yet only a few minutes away via car, or ten minutes via bike. The Rio Grande trail is easily accessible simply by heading two blocks to 29th Street. I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a dog.

Amazing House and Hosts!!!

My wife, infant son, and doggo stayed at this home recently for 10 days and we absolutely loved it! The yard was perfect to play in with the kiddo and the dog, and the house was just what we needed: comfortable and cozy. I rode my bike to town along the river path every day enjoying mountain views, sounds of the river, and crisp fresh air. Pam and Dennis were so gracious and friendly and really made us feel welcome right away. Couldn’t ask for anything more for an idyllic little getaway to beat the heat back home.

Great little house with a perfect yard for our pups!

We were down from Denver for a state mountain bike race for our son. The house was all ready to go when we arrived. Excellent location for everything in Glenwood. I was lucky enough to meet the owner and he was a delight! Gave us some great ideas on places to eat. Very clean, comfortable, and all I would need in a kitchen to prepare any meal. The beds were okay...I am spoiled with my adjustable Tempurpedic. Shower was great. The best part for me was the yard (very secure) for my two little dogs. I would happily stay here again! Thanks, Dennis for your hospitality....

Dennis and I met in Glenwood Springs when I came to Colorado Mountain College in 1978 and I have been in the valley ever since. Dennis, on the other hand, grew up here and has family who homesteaded the Ruedi area and has family history in this valley. We had enjoyed traveling with our fur baby, Patches, so we knew Riverdale had to be a place for complete families to come and enjoy Glenwood Springs.

Why they chose this property

We liked Riverdale Cottage because of it's location but we were surprised how quiet this little home is. Riverdale Cottage is close to everything our area has to offer for outdoor activity, skiing and restaurants. It is located in a nice area away from the noise of downtown traffic and yet is only a 2-5 minute drive downtown. There are two city trails by Riverdale Cottage that are used for walking or biking and are very handy for going downtown or to enjoy the river. You will find Riverdale Cottage is a nice retreat from the bustle of our busy lives and your dog will enjoy the enclosed yard and freedom off leash while you unwind.

What makes this property unique

Riverdale Cottage sits back in a nook that makes it a peaceful getaway. Enjoy a full enclosed yard with a back deck and grill after your daily adventures. I love that the Cardiff walk bridge is just down the sidewalk for a nice overlook of the Roaring Fork River. Sunlight Ski is about 15 miles away, Snowmass/Aspen are 45 minutes and an hour drive will bring you to Vail. Come home to Glenwood and visit one of our 2 Hot Springs pools or take the tram up to the caverns and overlook the valley with a glass of wine. Doggie day care is available in town and we do ask that your dogs are not left at home alone ALL day.
