This affordable getaway allows you to reconnect with people that are important to you.
"SUMMER BREEZE" is located within walking distance to the beach (under 5 minutes an easy flat stroll -No steep hills to walk) and sleeps 6 people making it Ideal for people wishing to catch up with friends, families wishing to spend time at the beach or couples wanting to explore McLaren Vale wineries.
This clean residence comprises of three bedrooms ( 2 queen beds and 2 single beds), a modest open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, reverse cycle air conditioning and a large outdoor undercover area with BBQ.
" SUMMER BREEZE " is the lower level of a two story home. We do not rent upstairs so your enjoyment and privacy is respected on your stay.
SELLICKS BEACH - the location
SUMMER BREEZE @ Sellicks Beach is approximately 1 hour from Adelaide with the new dual southern expressway.
Sellicks Beach is one of Adelaide's most beautiful beaches with its crystal clear blue waters and stunning cliff backdrops. You can choose to drive your car on the beach at Sellicks Beach, this makes a day at the beach so much more enjoyable (no carrying heavy eskys , tents and kids boogie boards).
Sellicks Beach is in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula which allows you the opportunity for day visits to other tourist locations, such as, Victor Harbor, McLaren Vale wineries and the Willunga markets.
The new granite giant Buddha, which signifies prosperity and harmony is located at Sellicks Hill and is definitely worth seeing.
***please note that the month of January is a minimum of 5 nights
*** Easter is a 4 night stay
*** public holidays/ long weekends is a minimum of 3 nights
*** due to Covid bed linen is not supplied but bed quilts are.

We built Summer Breeze with the of intention of relaxing. At the time we had two small children aged 2 and 5 so the beach was perfect for entertainment and relaxation combined. Now 15 years later we still enjoy the benefits of the beach but also the Mclaren Vale food and wine offerings.
Why they chose this property
Sellicks Beach is a quiet Coastal town. The location to build the home was picked because it was an easy walk to the beach with young children. The added bonus of Sellicks Beach is standard vehicles can safely drive on beach. Driving your car on the beach allows you to pack tents, umbrellas, boogie boards and everything else that is needed for an enjoyable all day stay on the beach.
What makes this property unique
Summer breeze is the lower level of a two-story home. We do not rent upstairs, so your privacy is guaranteed. Summer Breeze is bigger than a unit and offers modest space inside and outside. For many years we had Buddhist Monks repeatedly rent the property when they came to pray at the new temple from overseas. The homes' location in the heart of the fleurieu peninsula combined with the ocean's energy gives you the tools to relax and reconnect.
