Beautifully presented and well appointed with more facilities than your average holiday home.
Large upstairs deck with with beautiful views of the ocean.
The wrap around deck has a dinner table and BBQ with ample space to enjoy your lunch and dinner.
Winter brings the added luxury of a private sauna inside the house.

The rates are set for a minimum of 2 nights stay. The rate will vary according to season.

Perfect stay on the Great Ocean Road

The house was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for ur stay. The view from the balcony was amazing. The location was perfect for exploring all the sights we wanted to see.

Spectacular!

Gorgeous property. Well maintained, gorgeous garden. Lovely hardwood floors, well appointed kitchen (which we didn't use all that much!) and good size bedrooms each with their own ensuite and spacious. Great location, wonderful views from the wraparound balcony/patio. Bill was very prompt responding to queries. Will definitely stay here again.

Simply the BEST.. Amazing Wonderfull Wellness Lux

When the best is your only option then this rare unique choice should be first preference . The spa was amazing (maybe in future the chlorine can be replaced with a natural alternative as my skin reacted to it) , the Sauna was my favourite part, and the Views unlike any other .. The owner *fantastic .. Usually we say it would be nice to go somewhere where we didn't have to check in and do all that prior to check in ,we actually got that from this amazing property but being given the chance to live and boast such a luxury that's one in a million . We definitely would have loved to meet the owner . It was a pleasure to stay here and it has our first preference of choice anytime .... We stay at hotels , motels , apart , the whole lot and 4-5 stars every time I'd like to say this place puts them all to shame sometimes you wonder how say for instance the Stamford which was the stay prior to this place , 5 star but didn't have a window for fresh air or a microwave(Though I don't use it). Comment to the owner for my next visit I would love maybe upstairs just some privacy blinds . My girlfriend didn't see the need of it as the views speak for themselves but for someone who has a habit walking around in the nude especially if no one is home ,I did have to do a few sprints from one window to the other .. perhaps something I can adapt to I guess :-) thanks Bill ,and stayz ,,, all the best !!!

Downtime extraordinaire

My son and I had a wonderful relaxing time at Skenes. The house was welcoming and had everything one needed. The gardens were also beautiful. Thankyou! Only one bit of feedback please change the batteries in the fire alarms upstairs as they continued to beep 24/7.

Great Retreat

We had a fab couple of nights in this awesome house. Perfect for 2 couples with both bedrooms having their own ensuite. It was the perfect place to sit back and watch the world go by at a slower pace whilst enjoying a red. The sounds of the waves added to the ambiance. The house was fully equipped so we utilised the BBQ rather than eat out and definitely took advantage of the spa and sauna on both nights. Would definitely stay again Thanks Bill

Stunning new property needing some homely touches

We stayed for two nights at Apollo View during our Great Ocean Road trip and were lucky enough to stay at this stunning new property. The jacuzzi is the best I've ever used in a house and the views are outrageously good. We got the best sunset that we've ever seen in the southern hemisphere from the deck. The only negatives are that because it's so new it lacks a few homely touches at the moment. Things to soften the decor out like plants, some more art and some shelves with interesting books on to read. But it didn't make a huge difference as we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Apollo Bay (although Apollo View isn't in the town anyway) itself isn't particularly nice when compared with other places along the road such as Lorne or Port Fairy but it's a great location in terms of being half way along and road.

Amazing view!

Our stay was very last-minute & we were very lucky that this property was available, it had everything we needed for a great holiday/escape from the suburbs. The view of the beach is fantastic, the property itself is very comfortable & relaxing - also very new & modern. The sauna & outdoor spa are perfect for relaxing at the end of the day, the kitchen had all the necessary amenities you wouldn't think to bring along but need during a week-long stay (Nespresso machine & pods, spices, oil, pots/pans/crockery, etc etc). It would be a great place to stay with another couple - the 2 bedrooms each have very large ensuites - plus an additional bathroom upstairs where the lounge/kitchen are. We really loved our stay & the host was really helpful (sent us text message updates on the bushfires nearby to make sure we were aware & safe). Really cannot fault this property & would love to stay there again if we head to Apollo Bay/Skenes Creek next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Fabulous views from the deck. Well appointed new home. Great for our older family with hot tub and sauna. Excellent location for doing day trips or hanging by beach.
