Nice and spacious house in a great location!

Our stay was great and we would definitely come back! The location is amazing, just across the road from Blacksmith Beach, in a quiet area and just 1 an half hour drive from Sydney. Janette and Wayne were expecting us at the check in time and they were really nice and friendly with us! The house was really nice and very spacious with lots of space for hanging out with the group, and many activities including a pinball, arcade, poll and games and swimming poll! Great living room and dinning room and private bbq area. The cleanliness was was alright, but it could be a little bit better, but this is a personal preference. The only down side is that there were not enough pots , pans and trays nor lids for the pots to cook larger meals. We were a group of 6 and 3 of us are Chefs so we had to make some "juggling" to cook with the ones available. Apart from that our stay was great for a getaway from work and relax while enjoying with our group of friends!

Enjoyed our stay and will return.

Traditional beach cottage which is what we were wanting and so close to the beach. Tons of room for the seven of us. Would love more wine glasses and bbq cleaning brush. Chocolates and biscuits were a nice touch. Next time I’ll bring the bikes and remember salt and pepper. Perhaps a list of exit expectations would be good ie not sure if cleaning bbq was on the list or not so I did anyway but would have like a bbq brush to do this. Great for the pets as fully enclosed. Our two dogs never escaped. Probably didn’t want to! A new water bowl for the dogs would be good as well as more general reading material ie the escapist rubbish one finds pleasant on a break. Games room was well used. Bring coins for games machine. We went through a lot but had a lot of fun in the process.

Highly recommended!

We recently booked and stayed at the beach house and it exceeded expectations. In a tranquil spot straight across from the beach, plenty of room for the family with lots of entertainment. I would highly recommend staying here.

Large beautiful house!

My team of 10 needed a place to stay overnight while we attended a competition in Newcastle - this house was perfect! Everything as described, the house was large, clean and interacting with the landlord was painless. Thanks for a great stay, we're already planning to come back in summer :)

Lovely Pet Friendly Home

What a wonderful Pet Friendly Home! Something so rare to find, and a lovely home owner to deal with too who was more than happy to allow us to have our Show Dogs inside! The home was large, suitable for 2 families, great games room with Pool table, Ping Pong table and Video Game machine with lots of classic old Arcade games which was a hit with hubby.. Would love to come back and stay again, it really is a home away from home!
