Good location and excellent size house for a group of 9 adults.

Communication was great and the house was large enough for a group of 9 adults. The jetty was used every day and the pool table was also a great asset. Every thing you needed was there. Great value for money and close to all the main attractions via uber, glink or buses.

House was clean, neat and tidy. All beds and bedding need upgrading as they were quite uncomfortable. Otherwise was a nice pleasant stay.

Comfortable large house close to Pacific Fair

A comfortable older large house to suit big families or multiple friends. Two lounge rooms with TVs, pool table to entertain kids and adults. Close to Broadbeach waters beach, Pacific Fair shopping centre and light rail.

A radio would have been good. Pool too cold at this time of year for clients- solar heating would have been advantageous. Local bowling club was fantastic. Perhaps some brouchers or suggestions of local eating venues. Also back room TV could not operate via the play station so instruction would have been helpful. No aerial on back TV.

Large spacious house for a big family.

Very pleased. Lots of rooms and spaces for our large group. Games room was popular with all the kids. Plenty of seating in dining room lots of plates, cups etc for a large family. 2 big fridges a bonus! The outdoor space and pool were well utilsed.

Good location, needs maintenance

Whilst the location was great and the house had everything we needed it is in dire need of maintenance. Almost every room has something that doesn’t work. Windows that don’t open, fans don’t work, doors don’t open well, one door handle came off in our hand. Most walls need a good clean. Build up of hair behind toilets. The vanity tap in the main bathroom constantly leaks from mixer handle all over the left side of the vanity which ment three of the towels left for us to use were wet and we couldn’t leave anything on that side. In saying that the outdoor area was awesome, perfect for a big group and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Gold Coast holiday

Me and a group of 9 friends were lucky enough to stay in this house. As it normally goes its quite hard to find a property when your under 21. So huge props to robert for helping us out and allowing us to stay. The place is beautiful, has a fantastic pool and its nice and centrally located. Had an amazing stay thank you Robert.

This Property has been well used and they have let the furnishing and bedding get so run down that the main bedroom Bed was almost unsleepable and slow low and hard that we were not impressed, and the family had similar complaints. The couches and lounge where in poor condition as well and so were the outdoor furnishing's but in saying that on a brighter note there were lots of dishes which was handy and so was the location. All in all the pictures displayed are way better then the actual property and I probably would have booked else where as we appreciate a good night sleep on a decent mattress and bed. This places looks like it would be great for schools rather than a family holiday.

Could have been a lot better

First impression was "ok" we were greeted by a warm scent of sewerage coming from the main bathroom... where at this point I feel like I may have stuffed up with this one. Upon entry and going through the rooms it appears the place has been decorated by a local op shop, nothing really matches. In one of the rooms the window doesn't open so the room has this old people smell in it it's quite off putting. The fan in the room is really squeaky and very wobbly seems like its gonna fall, it obviously didn't. Only 1 bedroom had an air conditioner which was a bummer because it's super hot when we were there. The kitchen had cupboards falling off the hinges the place over all was very tacky and needs a lot of love to give it the wow factor it's lacking. 2 fridge freezers I don't see the need, one of them we had to turn off because it was very loud and annoying. Apparently a fee applies if you don't empty the dishwasher or clean the BBQ which was strange I have never come across that before because upon booking everyone is charged a cleaning fee, but in saying that the BBQ was filthy we couldn't use it (we wanted to) seems like that gunk is caked on... and to think someone was charged to have that cleaned but it was never cleaned... pool table was a hit, but it didn't help that the bottom was broken off so every time we got a ball in it would roll out and bounce away onto the floor. The pool area was nice and private shared jetty was cool, the day bed near the pool was yucky it was stained and had an old towel as a cover. The pool filter system was exposed and we had 2 kids under 2yo with us it was a constant battle trying to keep them away from all that stuff, we were told afterwards the kids had played with something in there... honestly that stuff should be boxed away out of reach of everyone. Great location overall, but I wouldn't come back here.... wasn't as clean as I would like it to have been. P.s old Christmas tree with half eaten candy canes hanging of the back side of it... disgusting. Good size house, good spot but that's about it.

Perfect for families

I found this to be a beautiful large home perfect for 2 or more families. Very clean. The outdoor pool area was a hit with the kids and the dads loved the jetty out back for fishing. The owner responded quickly with any questions we had and was happy to help. Highly recommended

Property needs some attention

We enjoyed our stay here ,the 6 bedrooms were a must for our 3 families.The house was clean and tidy although the pictures on the website must have been taken a long time ago.The property needs some TLC. The children enjoyed the pool and fishing from the jetty. A second television would have been handy with such a large number of people. The communication with Robert was spot on and our bond was returned very promptly.

pool and bali hut were really nice, good location. Whoever cleaned obviously didn't look in the drawers, the knives and forks were filthy. Every single bed was uncomfortable and maybe do something about the cockroaches.

Rio Vista Blvd Broadbeach Waters

We stayed at Rio Vista for 11 nights. The house is spacious with 6 bedrooms. Please note the furnisher in the photo's is not the furnisher in this house. Only one television in such a large house. Could really use a few more tv's to stop the fighting between adults and children. The pool with a Balinese hut was awesome. We spent a lot of time using it. The pool table was a fantastic way to have some family quality time in a fun challenging way. This is a beautiful place to stay in a very nice area. Perfect location. The private jetty on the river canal is shared with the neighbours next door which are lovely quiet people who look after the jetty and paint it with decking oil. The kids caught some medium size fish from the jetty but kissed them and let them go in hope of catching a bigger one. The neighbours on the other side feed the fish daily and wasn't that a sight to see. Fish jumping out the water everywhere. Lots of wild life to fuss over, like mother duck and her babies and a big black crow the kids loved to feed every day. My only concern with this house was the ants. If you left food out for a short time, ants would be all over it in a flash. Even if you had a drink beside the bed of the night night. Surface spray fixed them. We checked out on 25 Feb 2017 and recieved our bond back on the 8th March 2017...

We stayed at this property from the 2nd of August 2016 to the 21st. The house was lovely and in a good position but had some obvious faults which detracted from me being able to give it a good review. The main issue was the owner Mr Roode who was not there when we arrived at the property he had just left the keys in the mailbox. We noticed straight away the kitchen door under the sink was hanging off, the blind in the bedroom my mum stayed in was completely broken and unusable, the living room window had a cracked right across it and the sofa was being held up by a brick. But the most disappointing thing was no WiFi at the property. When we booked it in March the details said it had Foxtel TV WiFi and Internet access we even checked it once at the property on my sisters phone (she lives on the Gold coast) and the website still showed those details. We eventually got hold of Mr Roodes wife who was not particularly helpful and stated the would bring a mobile WiFi router to the house but we would have to top it up. It was then I advised them we had screen shot the original details for the property and also had emails where I asked Mr Roode to confirm the house had WiFi which he did. Eventually he attended the house with the mobile router which he claimed had 22 GB on it yet it ran out within the week and our rental was for 3 weeks. He then refused to supply anymore again I stated I would complain and pass on the emails and he texted to say he had topped it up. Towards the end of the holiday we tried a few times to get hold of him in regard to handing the keys back . He texted back the day before we left saying he had been on holiday in Bali and to leave the keys in the mailbox. I cleaned that house and left it immaculate and took photos to prove it as he never bothered to come check it before we left. We have still not received our refundable security deposit back and I strongly believe he is withholding the money to cover him having to pay out for the WiFi, for the record I have emailed him twice about this matter and he has not replied
