Description
Villa with a nice Caribbean charm, ideal to relax with family or friends. Tropical garden, the sweet chirping of birds and the sea form the decor... The beach access is immediate and on foot!
Just 80 meters from the magnificent "Playa Bonita" in a private residential, quiet and with security 24h/24h.

The house has 1 bedroom with King bed, 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds and 1 bunk bed (sleep for 4 persons) , every room has its own bathroom,1 guest toilet, 1 kitchen open to the living room with bar, 1 TV lounge (Smart TV + DVD + cable), WiFi throughout the house, 1 covered terrace with 1 Lounge and 1 living room and dining room, pool and 1 BBQ. Each room is equipped with Air Conditioning, ceiling fan and mosquito nets.

Other advantages
The hotel "Costa las Ballenas" is part of residential, it has a restaurant.

Services
The rental price includes the services of a housekeeper from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 3 times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Possibility to bring the maid on the other days of the week or the afternoon for a fee of US$30.00/half day, Sunday and holidays US$40.00/half day. Babysitting, costs US$35/until midnight.

The gardener, Zaca, is present some afternoons.

A Picciniste just cleaning the pool 2/3 times a week, on the morning.

Upon request, a chef cooker can be provided at a rate of US$70 per service for lunch or dinner preparation for maximum 8 persons and US$45 per service for breakfast for maximum 8 persons. The chef also does the grocery shopping; payment for the groceries must be given to them in advance.

The price does not include electricity in the case of the use of the Air Conditioning. A counter apart is provided to charge electricity consumption related to the use of the Air Conditioning.

The house is equipped with an inverter in case of power failure, however it has no ability to maintain the air conditioning in working time of the cut.

Sheets, bath towels and pool/beach towels are provided.

The house is equipped with dryer and washing machine. Hairdryer in the bathroom.

The washing and dryer machine are not free access. If you want to wash your clothes, the housekeeper will do it for you, without additional cost.

Arrival times are from 4:00 p.m. and departure no later than 11:00 a.m.

The pool does not have guardrails or a motion detector, and therefore we disclaim all liability in case of an accident. Children are under the full responsibility of their parents

The villa is equipped with 3 security cameras located in the exterior areas. One covers the parking area and access to the villa's main entrance. The other covers the garden gate, swimming pool and pool house. Finally, the third one covers the clothesline and the entrance to the laundry room. At no time can the cameras film what's going on inside the villa or on the outside terrace. Your privacy is preserved. If, however, you feel uncomfortable with the presence of security cameras, please let the host know and she will deactivate them.

The neighbourhood
Playa Bonita is a peaceful haven. It’s a calm residential area with some restaurants. Everything is accessible on foot, by the footpath or along the beach. The cars have no access to the beach, they’re forbidden. Even if the area is isolated from the village, it’s a mere 10 minutes away by car from the heart of Las Terrenas.

Everything comes together for that stay soft, easy and enjoyable ... the sand, the sparkling sea, walks on the beach and some restaurants ... an invitation to relax ... It's hard to resist!

Playa Bonita occupies the 8th place in the ranking by "National Geographic" of the 31 most beautiful beach in the world.

You can also rent a car.
Otherwise, regarding travel in Las Terrenas, you can use the "motoconchos" which are taxi motorcycles in costs around 100 dominican pesos/race and depending on the distance.

Wonderful Time

My husband and two children, 10 and 12, loved our time in this villa. The house was clean and usable, the pool was lovely, and it was just a short walk to the beautiful beach. We hired a chef for our week there. The usual one wasn’t available but the owner found us a different one. Every meal was delicious! The owner was available and helpful with all our questions! We hope to return soon!

Perfection! From the location to the property to the beautiful private swimming pool. Everything was incredible. Have your own small oasis just steps from the beach. With just a very short walk along a beautiful path to incredible restaurants and bars. You also have the option to stay at the house and have a chef come and cook for you and your family. We have stayed many place in the world this was by far a favorite.

Beautiful spot at Playa Bonita

We felt so lucky to find Virginie’s Las Terrenas home! We were looking for a place on Playa Bonita to enjoy the beach while visiting family in the area and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Everything was as described in the listing and Virginie was easy to get in touch with. The outdoor space is lovely, quiet, and spacious with a good size pool. The bedrooms likewise were comfortable — we were pretty thankful for the AC in each bedroom! Check in and out was seamless. The area is very safe and secure. Best of all, Playa Bonita is literally right there! We spent a lot of our time at the Beluga beach bar next door (great food, drinks, and service!), but there’s plenty of options up and down the beach. We will definitely look at staying here again next time we are in the area!

Superbe maison de vacances

Nous sommes absolument ravis de notre séjour passé à Casa Azul (octobre 2019). La maison est très propre, Albairis s'en occupe à merveille. Les chambres sont confortables et assez grandes. La chambre à l'étage qui a 4 lits est un peu petite car encombrée avec 4 lits. Du reste c'est très agréable d'avoir une salle de bain privative par chambre. Les différents salons (intérieur et extérieurs) font des coins tranquilles pour boire un verre, lire un livre ou passer un bon moment. Tout le mobilier est confortable. Literie de qualité. Situation en retrait par rapport à Las Terrenas mais idéal si on recherche du calme. Etant donné que4 la maison est dans un complexe, il y a des restaurants et bars à quelques minutes à pied (2 min pour le plus proche). Super Jardin et piscine avec une partie du bassin adaptée pour les petits enfants. Le jardinier Mimino est absolument adorable et aux petits soins. Nous avons été malades et il nous apportait des plantes pour faire des tisanes. Il nous apportait également des fruits de la propriété, ce qui nous a permis de goûter des fruits que nous n'aurions jamais acheté de nous même. Nous avons l'habitude de voyager et nous savons que parfois les images ne correspondent pas exactement à la réalité. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Nous nous sommes baladés dans le quartier et rapport qualité prix, nous pensons que c'est la meilleure. Seuls gros problèmes, mais là ils n'y peuvent rien, se sont les moustiques; malgré le répulsif et les moustiquaires, nous nous sommes faits dévorés et l'humidité qui est présente dans les habits qui ont bcp de mal à sécher et dans les placards. Merci pour toute l'attention que nous avons reçu, Virginie est à l'écoute et très réactive. Nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir.

One of my favorite vacations of all time

Although I was already expecting this rental to be gorgeous based on the pictures alone, we were so pleasantly surprised at the extra level of customer service that Virginie, the maid, and the groundskeeper provided. We were greeted by the maid when we arrived who explained to us where everything was, and that she lived nearby and would come by (almost everyday) to clean. Although we washed our own dishes as we used them, anytime she was around, she no only cleaned the house, she washed dishes, put them away and even did our laundry for us (twice) in the 6 days we were there (which we did not expect). The groundskeeper was also super friendly and provided us answers to any questions we had about the house, the town, or even places we should go to experience the local culture. The house is within a small community with controlled access, but even when out on the beach or after taking a taxi into town, we never felt endangered or worried that anything would happen. Virginie was super responsive (normally within 5 mins) of any questions we had, along with requesting taxis to take us into town last minute. We were able to go to the local grocery store and pickup enough food to last us the week and with the fully stocked kitchen (water, stove, sink, dishes, cookware) it felt like we were still at home, but with the feeling of paradise. The pool was always clean and with the warm afternoon sun, was refreshing after a quick dip to cool down. We would def stay here again (sooner then later if we can help it) and have already raved to friends about how they need to stay here.

Muchas gracias a Virginie por la preocupación antes y durante la estadía. La casa todo bien y la piscina super para luego de volver desde la playa. Playa Bonita la mejor playa de Las Terrenas solos unos pocos pasos de la casa. El techo que lo van a reparar pronto segun nos comentaron. Muchos mosquitos llevar mucho repelente e insecticida.

While not beach front, the house is a short walk to an excellent beach and nice restaurants. Playa Bonita is a very nice warm Caribbean-water beach with easy access in many places. Our family found Punta Bonita to be the nicest, and it is a short walk from the house. The house is nice but is in need of some maintenance (the owners are already planning to replace the roof in June). But for the most part, everything worked fine. The back yard and private pool is great for kids of all ages. We had a great time spending the day at the beach, then relaxing in the pool before dinner. Virginie was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, as was the rest of the house staff. Sandro was an excellent cook/advisor for us! We had a great vacation, and everyone was very sad to leave after 9 days. Thanks for all your help Virginie!
