The Great Ocean Road awaits
Located just south of Geelong towards the end of the world-famous Great Ocean Road, the Victorian town of Torquay has been a popular vacation spot for more than a century. Held every April on the Easter weekend for more than 50 years, it is the longest-running international surfing championship in the world.

The summer months over Christmas and New Year when the kids are out of school is the busiest and hottest season to travel. You'll want to book early if you plan to travel over this time. Further along in the Melba Gully, be amazed by the glow-worms or watch fluking whales, playful dolphins and basking seals out to sea and along the beaches. Truly one of the world's wonders.
