Lovely location, enjoyable foreshore walk to Port Arthur.Nice dining experience at Stewart’s Bay Lodge.Main bedroom upstairs was very generous while other 2 were small with no space for luggage. The dark paint work had a detrimental effect.
Perfect accommodation for our family Christmas together. Everything about the house was great, clean and has a well appointed kitchen and last but certainly not least the beautiful outlook only a few steps from beach Our family even enjoyed kayaking in the rain!!! highly recommended.
What an absolute gem of a find. The facilities were fantastic and the location and view spectacular. We were a larger family group and the house accommodate us perfectly. Including cooking and cuttlery provisions. We also walked to and dined at the close by, On the Bay restaurant, superb.

Port Arthur Beachfront Retreat was a beautiful place to stay. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Right on the beach with uninterupted views.
Location was so beautiful. So peaceful and the views were incredible. The house was really well set up and the kitchen had all the bits and pieces you need to make meals easily. Bek was a great host, very responsive and helpful.
Lovely spot right on the beach, close to pt Arthur, fantastic that it is dog friendly, the only negative is only a double bed in main bedroom

Fantastic winter stay in an authentic Tassie beach shack retreat. So comfortable and well appointed. Good coffee machine and pantry items , linen and bedding great quality. Wonderful retreat even in winter, kayaks , beach, walks etc
It was such a beautiful location. The beds were very comfortable. Nothing better than waking up to scenic view in the morning. The ocean is a step away. The only con was that there wasn’t any cloths to clean with, so make sure to bring your own

Hello Jen,
Thank you for your kind review and apologies that the dish cloths were missed during your booking. We definitely usually have them in the bottom draw in the kitchen so guests do not need to take their own and apologise again for any inconvenience during your stay with this issue. We will make sure to double check for future bookings.

The location of this beautiful property on a wonderful beach made it a special stay. A beautifully appointed place, it provided every convenience. Our two days felt all too short!
Thank you !
A perfect beachside getaway! Our host was amazing! Even after accidently booking the wrong dates, our host accommodated our changes and was so helpful in every way. Every comfort and convenience was provided, and the sofa beds in the rumpus room were very comfortable too. The children enjoyed paddling the canoes around the bay, while we walked the shoreline with a cup of coffee. The beach house is 2 minutes away from the shops and port arthur historic site and only a short drive from other attractions. The view from the master bedroom is second to none ... as seen in the attached photos.
We loved staying in this beautiful home. It was warm, so comfortable and the view from the bedroom and lounge are just lovely. On a rainy and misty couple of days it couldn’t have been a better base for us to explore from. And the bath is heaven. Would definitely stay there again.
Location was great. The kids (who can all swim) could run straight to the beach and amuse themselves while we kept an eye on them from the balcony. Check-in was straight forward and the instructions for the house left nothing out. Place was clean and comfortable. We were a party of 11 (3 families) so could have done with another bathroom and a larger 2nd bedroom but for a large family or even 2 small families it would be absolutely perfect. We had a great stay.
This was the perfect place for our beachfront getaway, even more so because we could bring the doggos. The house itself had everything we needed and it was a great configuration as it allowed teenagers to have separate space downstairs. The cold jug of water on arrival was a most welcome touch. The views are simply stunning, and there are lots of amenities close by, and the beach is very calm for a walk or a paddle. We had a very relaxing 5 days, and would definately return.
Three generations stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the location. We had two dogs with us and it was great that they could join in the fun. Dad (aged 90) struggled with the stairs but that’s to be expected. The younger couple had the downstairs area to themselves which worked well. Some of us took the chance to go on the Tasman Island tour with Pennicot which was fantastic.
Such a beautiful spot to stay with family. Walk a few steps to a calm coved beach, only minutes from Port Arthur Historical site. 2 modern bathrooms, great kitchen, BBQ on the deck and plenty of space to spread out. The view from the main bedroom is amazing. Rumpus room downstairs with a second TV ... although we stayed outside and went kayaking on dusk each night, which was an added bonus. We would love to stay again ... hopefully for a few more days.
The house is in a delightfully tranquil location. So peaceful. The beach is literally in front of the house. You walk across the front garden then down a very short path onto the sand. The deck, living room and main bedroom look straight out to the bay. Falling asleep to the sound of waves lapping the shore was fantastic. The house was well equipped for cooking. Beds comfy. Great books to read in the house. Fabulous bath. Very handy having 2 bathrooms - one on each level. Loved swimming, kayaking, walking and relaxing here. Highly recommended.
This beach house was perfectly situated for our 4 night stay, with the water beckoning on our front doorstep and its location right next to Port Arthur historic site, and hiking paths only à short drive away. À really well appointed kitchen was a big plus as our group of six ate in every night. Cosy furnishings, a spacious living area and a fantastic master bedroom with 2 other bedrooms on the same upper floor, comfortably sleeping 4 of us. The bed’s downstairs are adequate but two are pullout singles in the same room. The house has a lovely feel and we enjoyed being there in the sunshine and the rain.
