Beautiful 2 bed 2 bath town-house with pool and sea views.

The town-house is located in a quiet up-market neighbourhood on the south coast of beautiful Barbados. The master bedroom is air-conditioned and has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The other bedroom has two single beds and en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms and the living/dining room have ceiling fans. The apartment can sleep a maximum of 4 adults comfortably.

The town-house is fully furnished with china, cutlery, linens and towels as well as fridge, 4 burner gas stove, washing-machine, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. WiFi and TV with Netflix and YouTube are also provided. The town-house shares a pool with one other townhouse in the spacious gardens and maid service is provided once a week to change the linens and clean.

We strongly recommend renting a car as the bus service near the area is unreliable.

Just a short 5 minute drive to famous Oistins fish fry, 12 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes to the night life of St. Lawrence Gap, Seashell is your holiday home away from home.

Excellent accommodation in Atlantic Shores

Comfortable, relaxing stay in a quiet location. Beaches easily accessible with a car. We loved the pool and the easy walk to a coastal path and Surfers Bar.

Nice comfortable bed very clean pool, we loved our two week stay and will come back .The apartment was basic but had all we needed, beach bar 5 minutes walk very quiet at night car recommended

Absolutely Amazing!

Debbie and Jimmy are outstanding hosts; so accommodating and extremely friendly. It was comforting to know they were just next door, however they didn’t invade our privacy at all. We really enjoyed our daily dip in the lovely pool. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We would definitely recommend and would love a return visit some time in the future.

Wonderful property, very comfortable and ideal location for us.

We had a fabulous time relaxing at Sea shell and loved it so much we are planning to return later this year. Communication with Debbie before arrival was great, she even did a video to help with driving instructions, that was excellent and it wasnt long until we arrived and unpacked! We would recommend a car to get around. The beach a couple of minutes drive at Maxwell is great for swimming and sunbathing. We used the main shop in Oistins as well as a couple of local shops. We enjoyed drinks in the nearby surfers bar and chicken ritas! The property had everything we needed and the pool and gardens were wonderful and very well maintained. My favourite days were relaxing at the pool then heading to the beach later in the day, finishing with sundowners at the surf bar. There are a number of good restaurants within easy driving distance. Thank you Debbie and Jimmy for a great holiday and we look forward to returning in November.

Best part of the island

Just got back from 8 nights at Debbie's beautiful townhouse. Our family of 4 with two university aged sons had a perfect stay in Atlantic Shores. This was a pilgrimage for us as we had lived on the island many years prior, when our children where young. We selected this house as it was only 2 blocks from our old house. We loved the area this time as much as we loved it so many years ago. Atlantic Shores is quiet, friendly and has the best breeze - no need for artificial temperature. It is close to the airport and only minutes away from other South Coast amenities, beautiful beaches and easy access to the main highways on the island to allow easy exploring. We had many dinners (not on Friday as it is nuts) at Uncle George's at the Oistins Market. Fresh fish every night for dinner with a rum punch or a Banks- the perfect combination. Debbie is the perfect hostess, we felt really welcome and most importantly, she made us feel like we were home. Once a Bajan, always a Bajan and this house made us feel like locals again.

Fantastic relaxing accommodation

We stayed at Seashell for 10 days and had a wonderful time relaxing, exploring and enjoying the local area. The property is our favourite on the island and we have stayed all over the west coast and north of Barbados. We love the comfortable accommodation and the external space. Our favourite time is relaxing around the large pool which is fresh and very clean. The garden is beautifully maintained with plenty of space. Debbie and Jimmy are great hosts; if you have any questions they are more than happy to help and are very knowledgeable on the area. They have the balance right between offering assistance and providing privacy; if you want a great relaxing base this is the place to choose. We love that on arrival at the airport it is only 10 or so minutes in a taxi; you can pick up a hire car at the airport or as we now do, have one dropped off the next day. Perfect. The property itself is very well suited to our needs with a very comfortable bed on the ground floor- their is great air con in the main bedroom but I love to feel the coastal breeze and all windows have guards with insect nets. The shower is large and powerful! We like to cook and eat out and tend to alternate so it's lovely to have a great kitchen with a nice big fridge freezer. We keep some cold water in the fridge for rehydration during the day - there's always a big jug and plenty of ice on arrival. My top tip is to partially freeze a bottle to take to the beach! Beaches - so many to choose from on the island but locally we like to walk to the beach at the end of the road, it's beautiful; people do swim there but I would suggest you need to be a strong swimmer. Just down the road in the direction of Oistins is a lovely beach to relax and swim or snorkel; we visit most days (Enterprise / Maxwell beach). Also we love to visit Silversands beach and you can get a drink at a hotel there; nice views for an early evening drink. For provisions there is a supermarket in Oistins plus a couple of local shops that we have found and fruit and vegetable street vendors who we always call at. Also there are plenty of shops if you are out and about exploring. It isn't essential to have a car but we like to explore as well as relax and there is so much to see one this beautiful island. We enjoyed this and our previous stays so much that we have booked again for late March 2019 and can not wait to return to our happy place.

Relaxed, self catering, holiday location

We found the reviews for this property accurate and helpful. We had a lovely holiday and appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of Debbie. The accommodation had all we needed although a safe would have been welcome. With a car it was a good location for exploring the island. Thanks Debbie and Jimmy.

Relaxing

Villa located in a nice and quiet area, closed to kite surf and surf spots of the south area of the island. Lovely swimming pool, nice with kids. Debbie and Jimmy are there for anything needed, thanks for your hospitality!

great vacation

We had a great trip to Barbados. This rental has everything you need. Beautiful yard & pool, lovely neighborhood and great hosts. Debbie & Jim were great hosts, answering any questions we had, etc. We stayed for a week and will def. be back!

Perfect family base for a relaxing, independent holiday

We (2 adults, a 4 and a 2yr old) had a great time at Debbie and Jimmy's. They are fab hosts - nothing is too much bother (Debbie took us to the supermarket when we arrived as our hire car wasn't due until the next day, Jimmy took my husband to pick up a surfboard, loads of handy hints and tips on what to do, where to eat etc). The house is great - lovely and airy (the breeze is so great, meant we didn't use the aircon once) and has everything you need for an independent holiday. Every thing was clean and fresh. The pool was lovely and clean and my kids loved it. You can see the sea from your porch and we often watched the kitesurfers whizz by. You need a car as it's a good 30min walk into Oistins but you can get to the nearest beach (it has a lovely bar/restaurant - Surfer's Bay) in about 5 mins walking. With young kids, we spent most of our beach time at the nearby Entreprise/Miami beach (3 mins in the car) as it has a shady area (lots of trees) and a sheltered cove that meant they could swim more easily. We really hope to be able to come back soon!

WONDERFUL STAY 12 DAYS IN THIS HOUSE . THE HOUSE IS IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA INCREDIBLE NEAR THE SEA. THERE IS ALL THE COMFORT AND THE GARDEN VERY NICE . BUT MUST C IS THE BIG POOL WITH SPACE TO DO BRONZER . BUT THE MORE THEY ARE FANTASTIC DEBBIE AND WE HAVE WELCOMED JIMMY AS THAT IF YOU WERE HERE . BARBADOS IS A MAGIC ISLAND SOUND BUT THIS IS A TREASURE AT SUNRISE ST NUMBER 31. ALL MY LITTLE HEART OF ALL FAMILY THANKS DEBBIE AND JIMMY FOR THEIR KINDNESS AVAILABLE AND THEIR BOARD TO VISIT BARBADOS THOUSAND TIMES THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THESE GREAT HOLIDAY BARBADOS

FABULOUS APARTMENT

We had an absolutely AMAZING time at the Seashell apartment. Seashell is in a quiet residential area and is extremely safe. Just what we were looking for…. we hired a car for the week as there aren’t any buses around this area, the apartment has everything you need both inside and out and there's a gentle breeze around so It never gets too hot. The pool was lovely and very clean and we used it a lot. From the time we arrived Debbie and Jimmy made us feel at home and they went out of their way to answer any questions we had and to give recommendations for restaurants, places to visit etc. nothing was too much trouble for them. The Apartment is 10 minutes from Oistins (great on friday’s for Fish fry night) and 5 mins from Miami Beach. It’s also easy to find other quiet beaches nearby. I would HIGHLY recommend Seashell’s apartment as a place to stay. We can’t wait to go back again next year. It was everything we expected and MUCH, MUCH more. Thank you Debbie and Jimmy The Scottish Clan x

Fabulous February 2010

My husband & I spent 4 glorious weeks at this apartment. The location was ideal to explore the coast line of Barbados. The apartment was in a quiet neighbourhood & the outside space was exceptional with the pool & gardens. We felt the whole area was safe & secure.We were able to eat outside on the balcony & enjoyed the privacy.The weather was wonderful & with the breeze we did not need to use the air conditioning. Debbie & her husband were very welcoming & their local knowledge would be very helpful to future visitors. There is plenty to do in Barbados but this particular spot would be ideal for anyone interested in surfing or water sports, all within walking distance. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for holiday accomodation - great place to stay & the pool was fantastic in the morning,afternoon or evening.

Excellent place to stay

just spent two weeks here and have absolutely nothing but good things to say. Accomodations were great, clean, comfy and a nice full kitchen. Pool was great. Debbie was a very nice and helpful host and we loved the island. It was a great safe place with beautiful surf near by and we will definitely be returning next year and wouldnt hesitate to reccommend this place at all! Ritas chicken is a must!
