PÄ vintern kan lÀngdskidÄkare Äka fram och tillbaka pÄ cirka 12 tunnland öppet land, eller om du Àr en vandrare finns det 43 tunnland med öppna stigar, plus ytterligare 40 tunnland offentlig trÀdbevuxen mark som grÀnsar till min fast egendom.
Levande teater finns inom 90 minuters bilresa i Cleveland och Pgh. Samt professionella sporter dÀr.
De som vill göra inget av ovanstÄende, att bara dekomprimera nÄgra dagar eller en vecka kommer att hitta detta ideal. Mycket lugn, naturskön, bukolisk miljö. Du kan verkligen göra sÄ mycket eller sÄ lite du vill. We didn't stay. The cabin was old and dilapidated. Ceiling actually coming down in one corner. Old furniture and in bad shape. Outside all overgrown mold growing on screen door. Deck collapsing on one side. NOthing like the pictures online! Host was a nice man. Cabin was not! No mention of 18" drop off from living room to dining room. No mention of washer and dryer in the basement.

Jan was very friendly and accommodating. Cabin was in a great location with a nice yard. Very private and quiet. Our dogs enjoyed the property and surrounding area also. Would consider staying there again!

Wife’s Birthday Getaway

Jan gave my wife a bottle of wine for her birthday and we really appreciated it but unfortunately we are both diabetics and don’t drink. Cabin is in a great location and the wild turkeys were awesome!

Paradise

Our week long stay at this cozy, comfortable cabin surrounded by rolling hills was all we'd hoped for and more. We enjoyed waking to see deer and wild turkeys on the manicured lawn. The cattle in the adjacent pasture added to the bucolic beauty and serenity of the property. Jan is an excellent host who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have everything they could possibly need or want.

Very rough around the edges

The Bathroom and kitchen were clean. But cobwebs and dust adorned the corners, woodwork, and wall decor. There is nothing refined about the property. The finishes and decor are very rough DIY. The bed sheets are rough and scratchy. I would suggest bringing your own if comfort matters. You might feel more comfortable if you bring a security bar for under the door handle, cuz the door does not lock. It doesn't even latch, actually. The listing says the property is on a lake, but it is not. The listing says there is a fireplace but there is not. The listing seems to say there are bicycles but there are none. And the garage does not appear to be for guests since it is filled with a boat and other of the host's belongings. But the neighborhood is quiet, and not much traffic on the road. It's a place to sleep, not to spend time. Bring your own cooking oil.

Week Vacation

My girlfriend and I stayed at the property for a whole week. It was very quiet and peaceful. Out in the middle of nowhere with nature, it truly was the perfect place.

Relaxing and cozy!

I loved this place! The cabin was so cozy and so quiet. Mother nature did not participate so i didn't wander as much as i would have liked to, but I'll be back! The only thing the photos don't show are the few cows on the property. I was a little surprised but in a good way! The host is extremely friendly and inviting. It's a very beautiful property to visit. 10/10!

We loved our time at the cabin. We wanted to get away and enjoy country surroundings

Our stay was more than we expected...fire pit..grill...and great front deck was great surprise. Jan is a real class act...very personable and great host.

Serene and Peaceful

Property was very well kept and had everything we needed! Jan is an amazing host, met up with me when I checked in and stopped by on the third morning just to see if I needed anything. When you go if it is clear in the evening, take a look at the stars from the "Porch area" because it's wonderful! If I plan to do anything that way again, I will be back!

I enjoy watching most sports, golfing and bowling, museums and art fairs and, especially, travel. Laid back, easy-going - that would be me. Oh, I'm single, for what it's worth. I'll always be available, but like a good umpire, you won't even notice me. Just respect my property and we'll get along great.
My place is close to Beautiful Atwood Lake. You’ll love my place because of the serenity of the rolling hills country, hiking trails over the 43 acres of land, the verdant lushness of spring and the glorious colors of fall. 30 minutes to the art and craft stores in Amish country, or the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the First Ladies Museum and fine restaurants in the Canton and Belden Village area. Pontoon and ski-boat rentals at the Atwood East Marina is a mile from the cabin. Live theater and professional sports teams in Cleveland and Pittsburgh are 90 minutes away.
Cabin has heat and air conditioning for your comfort year around. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Those who have visited here so far say it is such a peaceful setting. One even said walking to hiking trails through the woods was "magical." You even may find a fairy circle for good luck.
