Dickenson Bay holiday lettings

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our 10 day stay. We had everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen and spacious en-suite bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the large hammocks on the balcony were a dream. The location was ideal with a selection of gorgeous beaches nearby, as well as supermarkets and places to eat. Lastly, Jonathan was the most gracious host, providing us with great recommendations, freshly picked fruit and was even flexible with our check out time. We had a great stay and hope we can visit again!

Jonathan was a brilliant host, he really went above and beyond to welcome us to Antigua and to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was superb, very modern, well equipped and had a lovely balcony where we enjoyed having our breakfast each morning. The kitchen had a very large fridge/freezer and we found the water filter jug very useful to always have cold drinking water available. The bed was very comfy (as was the hammock) and there was also lots of space for storing clothes. Air con and fans both worked well too. The location was also pretty close to Dickenson Bay and local supermarket. We recommend the use of a rental car to get around however we never had one for most of our stay but managed okay by walking to the beach/restaurants each day. Parking space is outside the property. All in all we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this apartment. Thanks again for everything Jonathan!

We opted/were able to be picked up from the airport by Colin whose parents house we stayed in. Cheaper than a taxi and we called by a supermarket. Throughout our stay Colin was just great. Always helpful, informative and resolved any issues that transpired. I do need to mention that Colin’s parents live above the apartment (no1) and where up/talking at 6.15am. This was resolved after a couple of reminders by Colin. After which we were able to wake up gently like you want to on holiday. Bedroom curtains were too thin and should be heavier/thicker material! The apartment is a little dated, but spacious and well equipped. Although up a slight hill the apartment is well placed, and has a terrific view from the decking area. Fantastic value for money, well recommended but for the sleeping issues which might not be a problem for some. Thanks Colin and all the best for the future!

The apartment is well equipped and has plenty of storage. A large upstairs bedroom with effient air conditioning overlooks the pool and gardens and out to sea. The lower floor has a comfortable lounge with kitchen area and two balconies. We ate out on the larger balcony every day enjoying the beautiful gardens. Housekeepng came in every other day to change towels etc and the whole Village is very well maintained. There are three or four good restaurants within walking distance and a large supermarket a short taxi ride away. We particularly enjoyed being able to being able to walk straight out onto the lovely beach and come back to use the sunbeds around the pool, which never seemed busy. It was a wonderful stay.

Overall impressions are very positive. Would recommend more clarity in the advertisement as we believed we had booked an apartment with a washing machine and dishwasher but this is only within 2 of the 18 properties within the resort. Maintenance and cleaning teams were fantastic.

This property is perfect! Most stunning location overlooking a gorgeous white sand beach with calm clear warm sea. The property has incredibly comfortable beds (even the daybed in the lounge is excellent) and the outside covered verandah and the patio are wonderful. The property is spacious and well equipped. Very good aircon too. The pool is a bonus and the layout of the area is so well done. Just perfect. Very friendly reception, security and housekeeping staff. And the contact with the host from booking through to the stay was betilliant. Thank you

We had the most incredible stay at this property. Every question was answered super speedily by Carol and Trevor. The views are what this property is all about. The sunsets from the terrace are second to none and we raced back every day to make sure we didn’t miss it. It was very homely and we immediately felt comfortable. Fantastic value for money, especially compared to the hotels in the same area. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!

Helen has a beautiful and very spacious house. We were two adults and two small boys (7 and 8), but you could easily stay there with two families - definitely two couples and a child. There was everything we needed there and having two bathrooms really does make all the difference - and having a washing machine! Plenty of towels and linen. The house was fantastic. Helen was also incredibly quick to answer any of my questions - and very helpful. The swimming pool area was perfect and a great size pool for our young boys. It is a lovely quiet residential area and there were few guests but all very friendly. We had thought that the island would still be really busy until the end of April and the end of the UK school holidays - but actually there was nobody there at all.This suited us as we really wanted a quiet break just our family - and we had hired a car - so had the freedom to go to any of the beaches we wanted. But I think it would be quite good to note that nearly all of the beach cafes and bars were closed at this time of year - and only opened on cruise ship days otherwise it wasn't worth it for them...... The other thing is that we had not anticipated the price of food in the supermarkets. SO so so so expensive. Really you have to go to the market otherwise it costs so much as everything is imported. This is of course no reflection on the lovely house - just maybe useful information for anyone looking to book in April. We had a wonderful stay.
