The Harbor is a newly renovated townhome that's nestled amongst giant oaks hidden away in a safe, secluded neighborhood 5 minutes from Madeira Beach. It's upper level king bedroom, has an outdoor porch and an en suite shower bathroom. (Full disclosure, the shower is a prefab stall which are typically on the small side so it might not be comfortable for some. Please view listed pictures)
The Harbor has a brand new fully equipped kitchen with a full size stove, microwave and refrigerator. This unit includes high-speed WiFi, cable and there is a new washer & dryer in a separate (shared) laundry room. There are also beach chairs, towels and coolers provided for your time on the sand.

The Fred Marquis Trail is 1 block away. This super smooth trail is a cyclists' dream. It was created along 38 miles of abandoned railroad tracks and it provides a unique, protected greenspace for walking, jogging, skating, and biking. You'll find Blossom Lake Park within walking distance. There is an exercise track, active basketball court and open field great for football/soccer or kites, as well as rest areas, water fountains and benches. There is a large pond with a water feature and LOTS of ducks! Take a bag of frozen peas to feed them and relax.

The new Seminole WaterFront Park saw the opening of a public kayak launch. This will drop you into calm intercoastal waters that are teaming with wildlife. This new city park is less than 10 minutes away.

The Harbor is centrally located to anything you want to do in Pinellas county. Whether you want the shopping and nightlife of downtown Saint Petersburg or the relaxation of warm waters and sugar sands of TripAdvisor's #1 ranked U.S. beaches - Saint Petersburg & Clearwater Beach The Harbor House takes you there!

No smoking, No drugs or loud parties.
No more than 3 occupants and overnight guests must get approval.
Owners live next door should you need any assistance during your stay.

Come dock at the Harbor House and have a whale of a time. (That's not too cheesy is it?)

Great retreat!

Wonderful landing spot for all the great beaches! We did Madereria, St. Pete Beach, and Clearwater and all were close by. Property owners are fantastic!

A Great Few Days

For our purposes the location was great, near family and activities that we wanted to participate in. There were only two of us so the one bedroom was perfect. The property was very clean, well appointed with everything that we needed. It was quiet, but the host was nearby if anything was needed. Would highly recommend this property.

Nice!

Location is in a private neighborhood - quiet and secluded yet close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Bike trail practically in the backyard!. Shannon is very accommodating. Condo was comfortable with plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay!

Just right, as always!

Our second time staying at one of Shannon’s properties and it was just right, as usual. She’s the most accommodating host I’ve ever encountered. The apartment is larger than it looks in the photos and beautifully decorated. It Has everything you need, comfy bed, washer/dryer, coffee maker. Proximity to beaches and the Pinellas Trail are A++! Highly recommend and will be visiting again!

Perfect for a couple

This an adorable two story bungalow that was perfect for the two of us. The bed was comfy and plenty of room in the bedroom to unpack and spread out. Bathroom and kitchen well stocked and clean. It is close to many things we like to do and places where we love to eat. I would highly recommend this place. The owner is nearby and responds to texts quickly. She was very helpful and eager to make our stay comfortable. Hope y ok return again soon.

OK, but not a great choice

The place is advertised as quiet. It is not. The rental is not actually a whole house, but one unit of a shared house. The owners have two other holiday homes on the same property and also run “El Cheapo Tree Service” on the same property, including a large fleet of cars and trucks that drive past the property all day. The owners, who are very friendly and accommodating, also live on the property. So there is a constant coming and going. Under the small balcony of the unit is the air conditioning for both flats, which is incredibly loud. Overall, the apartment is pretty, but with a few flaws. The bathroom is fitted with a carpet, even around the toilet, which we found rather disgusting. There is no dishwasher and the barbecue (with a faulty burner) has to be shared. The apartment is located in Seminole so it is a min. 40 minute drive to all the major attractions such as St Petersburg Pier, Clearwater, etc.

The Harbor and the Hideaway only share the laundry room and are considered private listings per VRBO. I hear your concerns though and I'll update the description to make it more clear for other travelers. I'm so sorry we had to make so much noise during your stay. Unfortunately we unexpectedly had to replace the clutch in our crane. Had this been a scheduled service I would not have booked visitors. We have a commercial property that the business is run out of so our big trucks and workers are very rarely here. Almost all of my other reviews talk about how quiet it is. I'm truly sorry you didn't get the same experience. Thank you for telling me about the noise from the AC units. I'll see if they need repair like the grill does and if there's a way I can dampen the noise from them. We plan on gutting the bathroom to widen the shower this winter so laying the carpet into the bathroom was a temporary fix. (I told my flooring guy it was weird lol) but I promise I wash all the bath rugs in between each guest! Sorry you thought it was gross. I appreciate your honest review. As a host I strive to provide a great experience for every guest. Knowing where I fall short and where I should make changes is appreciated.

Depending on when your stay is, you may be gifted with fresh Valencia pride mangoes or coconuts!

Your hosts live onsite in the back half of the sprawling property. Far enough to not be a bother but close enough to handle any concern that may arise. They both grew up in this neighborhood and can tell you all the cool local places you don't want to miss.
